  • sulyvan says:

Collin says this of Facebook…Santa is getting really sleepy and will be heading to bed soon so this will be the last giveaway of today. Good luck!

  • Amber says:

congrats yet again! but please put magical fairy dust on my name because we need some magical santa help this year to have a good christmas!

    • Trish S. says:

Us too!! Unfortunately it is random. And I always think that if this doesn’t work out and I don’t have stuff under the tree for my son this year than I will try to do something to at least make Christmas fun and special in another way :)

      • Dana says:

since my daughter is still to young for Santa, so we are holding out until the after Christmas sales, it worked wonders for us last year.

        • Amber says:

my kids are 6, 4, and 20 months today, so they know all about santa and his “magic” my oldest told me today she wants to put out carrots for the reindeer and still give santa cookies…. so I’m waiting on a Christmas miracle! The will be getting something though because of a sponsor, but my wish list includes things like toiletries and household supplies

          • Brandie says:

I very much enjoy entering things like this, but I will be hoping right along with you guys that your names get called. We have just finished up shopping for our Angel from the Salvation Army Angel Tree and have loved giving lots of gifts to help another little girl have a nice Christmas. I am so sorry that this time of year can be stressful when it comes to making Christmas wonderful for your children that don’t understand how all the gifts get under the tree. I am so thankful that my children have learned that giving is just as fun as getting and hope they can grow up helping others at Christmas too… My husband, myself and our 3 little ones will add your families to our prayer list :) God Bless

            • renatarjs@gmail.com says:

along with Kimberly on her note. Email me renatarjsATgmail.com

            • Trish S. says:

You are so sweet :) I’d appreciate one of those prayers as well if you don’t mind! My son is going to be 4 on Dec 29th so this is the first year he knows about Santa. I’ve spend many nights already in tears thinking about what his face might be like when he sees nothing there plus nothing for his bday 4 days later. So many families are going through this and I am praying for all of us. I hope this won’t affect my son too much…makes me feel like a horrible mother :/ Sorry don’t mean to sound like a sob story just sometimes it helps to vent to others you don’t know :) To all the families like us let’s keep our heads up and have faith things will get better :)

          • Kimberly says:

Amber, I would like to help if I am able….please email me, kimberly3547 @ gmail . com (remove the spaces) so that I can find out more about what you are looking for, gender of your children, what size diapers (or pull ups) and clothes your 20 month old is wears, and what city/state you live in (so I can estimate shipping). I don’t have much to offer and it definitely is not as generous as Collin’s giveaway but I’m sure I can find something to send your way that will help out :) Email me if interested!

            • JJ says:

Trish, please email me when you get the chance!! I’d love to help out if I can! It’s pretty late here, and Kimberley above me has a pretty good list of things that would help me out as well (without the diapers info, ; ) ), so that’s a good place to start! sacramento12058 @ aol. com

      • Rae says:

We have had a Christmas like that and if it weren’t for grandparents little man would not have gotten anything. Try registering through toys for tots that is what the program is there for! My hubby has a drop off box at his work and I will be sending some toys with him to work. http://www.toysfortots.org/request_toys/Default.aspx
I was one of the people fortunate enough to get my name drawn yesterday and I have been thinking about it all day how this year it isn’t as hard as past years have been so I am wanting to pay it forward so to speak and get some toys to donate as well as taking some stockpile items to food banks. I’m just really feeling like I need to do it…

        • Amber says:

That is so awesome your name got drawn and you are able to help! I help everyone out when I can… I feed a homeless man in my neighborhood, donate outgrown clothes to kids in need (instead of thrift stores because I know what its like to not even have enough money for them) and give toys to those who have nothing. They are donating their toys to a few kids we know who are having it rough as well, and I am gathering some food up to help some families in my neighborhood, so I think if you can help, you should because the feeling you get is more rewarding than anything just by knowing you were able to help!

        • melanie says:

You are so blessed you have parents (or grandparents) for your kids. Both mine and hubbys have passed away within the past couple years. I miss them at the holidays, I feel so alone at times when I watch other families getting together. Unfortunately, I have one sister who lives out of state & hubby has one brother who lives out of state – neither visit us because they are older and don’t have kids, so their celebration/priorities are much differents, so we are always alone. My biggest wish is more family, I love my lil’ family, but extended would be a dream.

      • Thia says:

I just got back from a toy drive for Toys for Tots, the Marine was very clear that if you need toys for your kids visit their web site, fill out the short form and Santa will come. No child should do without a christmas present – ever.

        • Michelle Cristy says:

True….my daughter is getting things from them this year….when i made my appt online after i got the email they have pickup dates all the way to xmas eve

      • swirlypop says:

Trish, I would love to send a gift to your son. Please email me at jmaxv @ roadrunner dot com.

      • Laura says:

I’m praying for y’all. I know God loves you and has you in His hands.

    • Amber says:

Toys for Tots does not help in our county and we couldnt put them on the angel tree because i didnt have 2 of their birth certificates and couldnt pay for them. My husband has been out of work for 6 weeks to an unknown heart condition that has his cardiologist puzzled and is afraid to release him to work and my mother, my best friend, died on 9/11 in the middle of the dr’s office of a massive heart attack and she was a big help to us in troublesome times. I’m blessed I have taught me kids about giving because they have been going through their things left and right to donate to other children!

      • Danielle says:

can “santa” give your kids events? Like driving around to look at lights, or craft time with mommy? I am an adult, but when I was little, we had NOTHING. I remember getting coupons for all sorts of things and I hoarded them like gold. Mom does the dishes, extra hour of bed time stories, get to skip a shower (sounds gross, but I HATED showering, my hair was just too long for that, LOL!) but whatever your kids, esp the two older ones would enjoy, paper is cheap and you can make it cost as little as you want!!

        Good luck!

        • Amber says:

Thats a tradition for us… we always go “lights searching” and its so fun and I always have them do different crafts… Tomorrow we are making glitter snowflakes to hang from their ceilings and they are so excited! And they love bath time so I do give them extra time in a bubble bath and they have a blast!

        • Pam says:

Danielle…thank you for the reminder that Christmas is never about the “things”…(sure a gift or two is nice), but being together and doing things as a family which cost little or no money will make memories that last longer than any piece of plastic toy:)

  • Hoping to win something someday
