Toys R Us: Fijit Friend Now Only $15 (Reg. $40+)

3:16 PM MST
The links in the post below may be affiliate links. Read the full disclosure.

Wow! Not only can you potentially score a Fijit Friends toy on the cheap at Walmart (as they are now priced at $15 and some have $10 peelie coupons), but you can also head on over to Toys R Us. They have now marked down all of the Fijit friends to $15 as well. And according to reader, Lyndsy, they have a better assortment to choose from. Note that you may want to call your local Toys R Us ahead of time to make sure that they are still in-stock at this price.

As a price comparison, these are going for over $40 on Amazon… so this is an amazing deal!

Fijit Friends Features:
Responds with more than 150 built-in phrases and jokes
Your child can poke and squeeze the soft, tactile skin that enables lifelike movements
Recognizes different types of music and performs different dance moves
Voice recognition and beat detection capabilities
Includes original songs
Requires 5 AA batteries (included)

(Thanks for the heads up, Lyndsy!)

Target store has also marked theirs down to $15 as well!!!!! I bought one yesterday. :-)

  • Carrie says:

Does anyone know if the ones at TRU and Target possibly have the peelies or are those only at Walmart?

  • Randi says:

Awesome! My target still has them at $44 but they price matched the walmart online price.

    • Shauni says:

These were on sale at my local Walmart for $15 but only had 2 colors and I think I read somewhere on this site that somebody said they had a better selection at TRU, so I went to TRU and they had 2 different ones than Walmart but that was all they had was those 2 different kinds, and they were only on sale for $50 marked down from $55, so I brought up the price on my phone and showed it to the store and they price matched for me. Also I didn’t see any of the peelie coupons at either store.

  • Casey Gwynn Parker says:

What stores are people finding the peelies at? None at my walmart, target, or kmart with the peelies.

  • Andrea says:

Called my TRU and its not the same price as online.

  • Stephanie says:

They are out of stock online, but toysrus will price match their online price, so even if it’s not marked down in stores you can still snag one for $15! Now, let’s hope they some in stock!!!!!

    • Diana says:

That’s not true. I went to TRU and they will not price match their online price because it’s a red hot online deal only. They said they can price match any store and anything on their site but red hot online deals. In CA anyway.

  • Tisha says:

If anyone has any extra peelies, I would love to have (1), please. My email address is Thanks

  • LO says:

I called my My toys r us before I left to ask about it they said yes they have them and she said oh I think they are $15. So i get there and they say I am SOL they don’t price match their website :/ drove all the way over to get a couple for gifts. Not a fan of TRU right now

    • Linda H says:

This is in their price match policy…
We’ll match and online pricing in our stores, except for online-only prices and Cyber Monday prices.

Hi I went to TRU and the same thing happened to me.. I found another manager and she took care of me. I would not ask the service desk manager she was not helpful. after about 30 minutes I was able to get the $15 price. I explained that on line it states only avaliable in stores. The employee who intially helped me said they were told yesterday to match online TRU prices as well. Good luck

  • Erin says:

What’s the deal with these things? They are posted ALL the time, and $15 seems kind of expensive for what it is. Are they super hot right? Never really heard any buzz about them. . . .

    • Autumn says:

$15.00 IS CHEEP!! I just paid $45.00 on Amazon and thought that was a good deal.

    • Dianna says:

It’s the only thing my daughter asked specifically for. $40 was too much for it, in my opinion, but I don’t mind spending $15 on it.

    • Hope says:

From what I’ve read they don’t have the best reviews, but I think they are worth the money for smaller children. Kids over 6 seem to get bored with the toy after a few days(judging from the reviews). The original asking price for them is WAY too much in my opinion. 15 dollars is a steal.

  • Becky says:

Just ran to Toys R Us and they priced matched their website!! I am super excited I was able to get this at this price! Thanks so much Hip 2 Save!!

  • Linda says:

I was just pulling up to toys r us and saw this deal. They weren’t marked down at my store but i just showed the customer service desk the online price and she honored it. Thanks for the info.

  • Lindsay says:

I just bought 2! They price matched their online price:) the manager was shocked to see the online price, what a great deal!

  • Rosa says:

I just brought two at Target for $15/EACH PLUS I HAD 10% OFF—THEY PRICEMATCHED WALMART.COM!

  • Shari R says:

Went to Target and they priced matched’s price with no hassle!

  • vanessa says:

is this a today only price?

  • anna D says:

My target would not price match, because it was sold out on walmart website.

  • April S. says:

My husband picked one up tonight at Walmart. It was not marked for $15 but had a star on the shelf price tag and rang up for $15!!

  • Denise says:

Went to my Toys R Us and they were marked at $54.99, but they honored the online price. The cashier was so shocked that I got such a great deal. I’m so excited!! My daughter has been asking for one since last Christmas but I was on the fence about spending that kind of money. $15.00 is such a steal! Thanks Hip2Save!!

  • Martha says:

Thank you so much for the alert! I kept missing the Walmart deal, last nite Target wouldn’t honor the Walmart price due to out of stock online ;( BUT tonite….I scored the last one @ TRU, just showed them their $15 price!!!! My daughter is going to be so excited!

  • Nancy says:

If you can’t get them at TRU or Walmart, I saw them at Family Dollar for $15 yesterday. Be sure to check them over there if you can’t find any! Good luck!

  • Amy says:

Anyone in frederick, md, I just left TRU a d they did the price match and have 4-5 left on the shelves

  • Jenn says:

Just went by my TRU and got the $15 price after showing the customer service manager the online price that says they are only offered in store. However, she would only let me purchase the ones specifically shown online (Willa, Logan, and the pink one) but they only had Willa from the ones shown. They would not let me purchase any of the other colors at the $15 price.

  • Kori says:

I also did not have good luck price matching. Our store had a whole shelf of them. No one in the store would price match it from their own site. I have never had good luck with TRU and do not need to ever go back there.

  • jr says:

TRU would not want to prices match their website because of their price match policy say they will not price match if it says “online price only” for TRU and BBRU website. but they did price match so we got what we came for.. on the other note we went target and saw the Fijit marked down to $15..

  • mommymg says:

TRU didn’t match their online price since it said “hot online price only” & its their policy to match items that are specifically not labeled that way. Showed & & still didnt consideir the price match. Very unhappy since they advertise price matching & apparently its false advertising.
