UPDATE: I am confused about this sweeps, as it states in the fine print of the giveaway the following: In the event any winner resides more than 30 miles outside the participating Godiva boutique in which prize was won, winner must call the boutique to claim his/her prize and prize will mailed to respective winner via USPS mail from the Godiva boutique thereafter … but then in the prize validation form it states “note that calls to boutique and/or customer care related to prize claims may result in forfeiture of prize. Questions, if any may be submitted through contact us in the footer of the site only. Don’t live with in 30 miles of this boutique? Click contact us in the footer of the site. Following the conclusion of the promotion period on 12-16-12, we’ll review all inquiries, validate instant winners, and begin the fulfillment process.” So keep this in mind.

Through December 16th, just head on over here and complete the entry form for a chance to win a box of Godiva Chocolates! Note that to enter you’ll need to select your nearest participating Godiva store (even if it’s not in your state). You’ll then be instantly notified whether or not you have won a 36-piece Godiva Gold Ballotin chocolate box – a $50 value! Even sweeter, there will be a total of 4,920 winners, so the odd of winning are higher that most instant win games. Plus, you can enter once per day for a better chance at winning.
* You can still enter even if you don’t have a Godiva store within driving distance. Check out what’s stated in the official rules… At time of prize claim, potential winner must show the Godiva boutique manager the following: 1) a valid photo ID and 2) a unique Prize Validation Code. In the event any winner resides more than 30 miles outside the participating Godiva boutique in which prize was won, winner must call the boutique to claim his/her prize and prize will mailed to respective winner via USPS mail from the Godiva boutique thereafter.

you would think that would work..alot of the times they just need the code number so if you have the form on your phone they should just be able to look at the code number and use it that way..but sometimes they do need the actual form so dont hold me to it lol

Actually, if you win and not within 30 miles, you’re not to call. when I won the other day the bottom of the congrats page said to email them and then the prize would be sent, otherwise your prize would be forfeited if you called the boutique!

Read the official rules, it says to call. I won yesterday and live more than 30 miles from the store. I called today and they are shipping it to me.

I won yesterday…went to the mall in Kennesaw GA to redeem it…the store employee told me they knew nothing about the promotion and that the manager would be in later and could I come back….ummm no. I drove the twenty miles from home just for this! I called the Godiva customer service number and they were very nice, called the store and I got my chocolate and a not very happy to help me employee!!!

I won the other day and called the store that is closest to me, which is actually about 50 miles away and the employee said they would ship it. However, my sister won later that day and called the same store and the employee told her they don’t ship from the store that she would have to come pick it up. So she emailed Godiva and they are supposed to be sending it when the game is over. I did receive mine today, they were a bit messed up I guess bc they shipped them in a large box, oh well can’t complain bc it’s free Godiva!! Just seems strange that everyone is having different issues trying to claim the prize. Good luck to everyone

We have modified the Prize Claim process outlined in the rules for potential online Instant Winners, like yourself, residing more than 30 miles away from the Godiva Boutique noted on the Prize Claim form.
We will now be processing all such Prize Claims. Following the conclusion of the Promotion Period on December 16th, our team will validate Instant Winners and begin the fulfillment process. You will receive an email on or about December 21st indicating the status of your Prize Claim and an approximate date for Gold Ballotin delivery to the address indicated on your registration form.
If any questions remain regarding these updates, they must be directed to our attention. Calls to Godiva Boutiques and/or Godiva Customer Care may result in prize forfeiture.

However when I entered in his email to win and clicked claim prize my name is on the certificate… therefore I have two winning certificates with my name on them. In the official rules it says “Limit one (1) Instant Win Prize per person, per mobile phone number and per email address.”
Has anyone else had to deal with this?
