Do you have to get 6 different items or can some be the same? I need calendars for Christmas presents but need 3 of them.

  • Momof2 says:

Has anyone recieved a calender from them? If so did you like the quality?

    • jennifer says:

I’ve gotten a calendar and really liked it. It’s not as fancy as some of the other sites, but then again it’s free.

    • audrea says:

have gotten 3 from them! 2 wall ones (for my mom last yr xmas, and another for this year xmas :)) i agree with jennifer, they are not ‘out-of-this-world’ amazing, but i have been very happy with them all 3 times!!!!

    • i didnt care for the wall calendar i got. i think its kinda flimsy if you actually use it to write on instead of just looking at what day it is. however i also got the desk? calendar and it is fabulous! i absolutely love it! it is thick cardstock paper and really pretty! the wall calendar is much thinner paper, only slightly thicker than regular printer paper. hth! :)

    • Rebecca says:

I didn’t love the calendar. The paper is pretty thin and there are not so many options like on other sights for backgrounds and layouts. But for free, who am I to complain.

      • kacee says:

I was wondering what the quality was, but I agree…6 items for under $12 bucks…not a bad deal! I make a calendar every year, so this was perfect!

    • Lisa says:

I get calendars from them every year. However, I always opt for the better quality cardstock. I think it’s about $5, instead of free.

  • lexi says:

anybody know how long this will last? the pictures I want to use are on a different computer :o)

  • Lisa D. says:

I order the six free items from them every year. I give them away as gifts. The calendars are really nice! Also, a small stamper is free too!

  • Brandy says:

Do you have to get all 6 different items? I would like some things but not others, can you get 2 of the same thing?

    • Brandy says:

Hey! Another Brandy! :-) Unfortunately you can’t add two of the same item to your cart unless you want to pay a for the second at a “discounted” price. However, I have heard that you can do 2 separate orders and get them both free that way, but you will will still have to pay shipping for the two orders.

      • Brandy says:

Sorry, lots of typos in the first part of that! I meant to say you can’t get both items for free in one transaction, but you can still add both items to your cart, you just have to pay for the second item (at a discounted price).

    • Amber says:

You can get just one or two thingsbut not more than one of each item.I u sed offers like this to make items for my wedding-save the date postcards, response cards, welcomenotes, etc. I’ve never ordered their holiday cards, but have received one from my employer and it was nice. The only thing I would caution is to make sure you’re ok with a small vistaprint mark on your items.

  • Kathleen says:

Thanks! If you add a photo to the tote or mug, you will be charged $2.99 each, but so worth it!

  • kacee says:

i am not able to see a free bag or shirt????

  • Destiny says:

I can NOT get this to work for me. I couldn’t get it to work for me last time either. Every time I go through the process of making a tote bag, it says 1 FREE until I get to checkout and it adds it to my cart for $6.49. Any suggestions?

    • Hmmm… are you by chance accidentally adding on items to your tote bag that cost extra. For example, you have to (I think) select yes to them adding a small Vistaprint logo to the bag. If you don’t, then they do charge a bit extra. J

Just be careful that when you go through the process of adding these items to your cart that you don’t accidentally add on extra features etc.

    • Cara says:

I’ve ordered these free deals numerous times before with no problem — this time as soon as I click through on the “free” offer, the price automatically jumps up to 50% off the regular price instead. Oh well!

    • Mary says:

I had the same problem. Once I personalized the bag with a picture and text it was charging me $6.49. I was so irritated after spending time finding and uploading the right picture then designing it that I just paid the $6.49. I wondered if it was only free if I didn’t add a picture?

  • Tiffany Skabelund says:

I just ordered some of the Free Business Cards and Greeting Cards and made them up as Bedtime Passes. It means your kids can have an extra 15 minutes of snuggle time with you after lights out. And since I got 250 of the business cards I can give some as gifts to my friends with kiddos. I am using a few of them as stocking stuffers for my kids. Thanks for the heads up!

  • leahm says:

This is a great idea! I made a couple of the items as little gifts for my kids.. the mug for my second youngest son with his name and a penguin on it (his favorite animal!), the calendar and a tee for lounging around the house for my oldest, a tote for my middle son for his library books (I’m also going to put a couple of books I already picked up for him in this) as well as some holiday cards (they had some cute designs without pictures and I needed some for people we don’t necessarily need to give family photo cards to but still want to remember during the holidays- like our mailman.) and some “mommy calling cards” for me.. all for under $11! Great deal!

  • Dawn says:

I am trying to make the business cards and they are showing up 9.99 What am I doing wrong? Do I have to agree to all of their “free” things like, free web page etc.? I don’t want to have to remember to cancel a million things in a month. Am I understanding this right?

    • Monique Holladay says:

You have to chose from the free designs. If you pick a design that is not one of the basic free ones they charge you. I made the same mistake at first.

  • Sheila S says:

Awesome deal! Picked up a few extra things for DH — he won’t mind if they have the logo on them.

  • Courtney W. says:

ahh…finally got it done after about two hours! thanks so much Colin!

  • Hannah rose says:

I am so glad you posted this! I am getting married in 3 short months so I am always looking for good deals. A while back Groupon had a voucher for Vistaprint where you pay 17 dollars to get 70 dollars to use towards their stuff. I had a 5 dollar off coupon to Groupon so it came out to be 12 dollars. I figured I could use it toward my wedding invitations. Being the hip2save shopper that I am, I went through shopat home and received 50% off of everything AND it still let me use my voucher. I got 100 invitations, 500 return address labels, envelope seals, Thank You cards, RSVP Cards, a bridal tote, a shirt that I put “Bride” on and 250 business cards that I designed to use as placement cards for the seating arrangement. I added 25 dollars worth of extra things to get free shipping, (otherwise it would have been 18 dollars to ship). I saved 202.55 and spent 37 dollars on all the stationary for my wedding. To make this deal even sweeter, shopathome was offering 12% cash back. I am SO thrilled.

    • Laurie says:

Holy Toledo!! You go girl!!! Big pat on the back! I wish I had been a couponer when I got married! I wasted thousands!!!

    • Nicole says:

Verrry impressive, Hannah! I’ll bet your fiance’ is thrilled that you can stretch a buck so far. That’s going to make life much easier, especially when you have kids (assuming you don’t already). I sure wish I was a couponer when we got married!

    • Hannah says:

I received my order today! It was not supposed to her here for another week. I am thrilled with the results i just wish i would have paid extra to print the invitations on thicker paper

  • Breanna says:

For those that are saying there is a balance in your cart. You can not really customize the stuff. For example I was going to put my biz logos on the items and it was charging me an extra fee to do so. So the item was free but adding my own personal logo added a charge.

  • Christa says:

Well it took a couple of hours but I got my stuff ordered! Takes a while to get the swing of it! paid an extra $2.49 to get a pic on my mug (gift for my oldest daughter’s bff) and paid $2.49 extra for a pic on the t-shirt and $1.99 cuz it was a XXL….worth it to me as it is a gift for my aunt’s bf! Thanks, Collin! I spent almost $19 total but I’m hoping with the t-shirt, mug, and calendar that it’s well worth it!

  • Jen M says:

I’ve done this deal twice recently. While you’re opting for 14 day shipping, you will probably get your items quicker than that. I’m very happy with the business cards I’ve made and the ‘holiday cards’ were actually 2013 calanders which turned out really nice. My favorite item is the tote. While a pic would be nice, the free designs are really pretty and I love having more reusable bags for the stores.

    • Sheila S says:

Thanks. It’s good to know about the shipping time. I noticed it said “days” rather than “business days,” which still puts us before Christmas, but for anyone who wants to have presents wrapped and ready before the holidays, faster shipping is always preferred!

  • thepeeblesfamily says:

I think I am going to use the business cards at tags for gifts. We go through a ton of those and for clients, it will look pretty nice. Thanks Collin.

  • dayna says:

I think I’m rounding up my neices/ nephew with my kids and doing a month theme photo shoot (silly/ funny one) themed by each month. With a cake smash party on my mothers birthday month and sonogram pic on the month the new baby is due. Then I think I’m going to make a calander for my mom with the crazy photos for her office! Thanks Colin!

  • Julie says:

So can we do this mutiple times if we pay shipping each time?

  • Daphne says:

I got all 6 for $10.51 shipped. I did one of the 10 minute deals and got an extra calendar for $11.25 with free shipping.

  • Emily says:

If you use the coupon code: http://www.vistaprint.com/emptymycart, you can get free shipping.
There are also a million other freebies available from Vistaprint: http://www.weddingwire.com/wedding-forums/vistaprint-discount-free-shipping/9824baa81abe928b.html

  • Jenifer says:

This is a sweet deal UNLESS you want to actually personalize something with a photo. I just wasted an hour personalizing a tote, a mug, and a calendar only to realize that every picture costs $2.49 to upload. I have used vistaprint before and was always happy with the results… but I guess I never used pictures before. I guess these gifts will have to wait till later too. Thanks anyway! :-)

  • Deann says:

Ug! I had a calendar in my cart, and it said “free”, then I added a mug, added a pic, so that’s 2.50. Then I added C’mas cards, accidentally added a pic, so I took them out of my cart then added the free ones with no pic. Now my cart is charging me 7.99 for the SAME calendar that was free 5 min ago! and 6.99 for the mug that was 2.50 5 min ago! The cards are still free. WTH??

  • ashley says:

I ordered everything but the shirt and when I checked out there was a $5 credit on my account – so I only spent $3.91!!!

  • Becky says:

Does any one no if you can put more than one photo on the same page of the wall calendar …does it cost more??

  • Char says:

I added 8 free items to my cart. Shipping came to a little over $12.00 total. What a great deal! The items I added were:

    Photo Wall Calendar (Free)
    Collage Mug (Free)
    Mugs (Free)
    Tote Bag (Free)
    Sticky Notes (Free)
    T-Shirt (Free)
    Holiday Cards (Free)
    Business Cards (Free)

    I chose the slowest shipping.

**NOTE: I did have to come back to this website over and over again for Vistaprint to recognize that it should be free. Keep this website up in a separate tab so you don’t have to search for it over and over again.

**Second Note: You can place more than one order! I placed 5 separate orders.

  • Melinda says:

Still time for Xmas on some of these items! WOW…I followed your advice as well as using Emily’s 12/7 comment and ended up making an order with 8 things (used her wedding link as well as free PRIORITY 7-day shipping). I couldn’t get the mug to work with the big order and a photo, so I did a separate order with a photo mug and standard shipping. The first order (8 items) included t-shirt with photo, tote bag with photo, notebook with photo, rubber stamp, 250 business cards (went to vistaprint.com/winterdeal), notepad, address labels, and pen – $13.15 which included priority shipping. I’m sure I could have gotten a mug with no photo. Separate mug order with photo was $8.27 with standard shipping.
