My 5 year old can get a decent distance into the original one, and it keeps her attention for 20+ minutes at a time, several times a week, so I’d say yes to the Rookie for a 4 year old. We also have the Epic and my 2 boys and daughter all love them, even though none of them have ever completed one. The newest one Twist is on my 10 year old son’s wish list!

I was wondering the same thing, because I think my 5 year old would like it, but he gets easily frustrated, so we stay away from toys over his age.
Amazon does state ages 6-8, but if you enlarge the picture, the box says ages 4+. I think I just might try it for him.
