  9. a

so i know it said no complaints on the first post and i patiently waited and checked every post in time hopin we would be lucky enough to be picked… NOW i’m gonna complain as the post earlier said that this was done and MAYBE later today but NEXT week we would see more, so instead of being the mother who checked her computer every hour (as i did this entire week and felt BAD ABOUT as a mother who usually only checks once a day during nap time) tonite I spent time with my family making dinner and having a “movie” date with my kids and husband… as someone who doesnt have much to give my kids for christmas (they each get $30, which doesnt go very far) as i stay home due to my oldest son being deaf and to stay home with my other kids as I see this is the best fit for my family , anyway i was SUPER pumped about the possiblity of getting items for my kids ($100 would be more than i spend on all 3 put together) THUS ALL SAID…it made me mad that AFTER i was told i didnt need to spend every few minutes checking my computer and that NEXT week we would see more this comes for the first 25 people…. I KNOW it’s all a game, I KNOW it’s all about checking the posts… just felt bad that I was TOLD i didnt’ need to continue to check non-stop and then 25 people got chosen………… I KNOW it’s all a game of luck….. i know i save a lot from just the main deals on hip2save…. but it IRKED me as one of the ones who was PRAYING For their name to appear (as i’m sure there were others too) that AFTER the “done for the weekend” post this happened …. guess this is just me being po’d at MYSELF…. BUT gonna say NEXT year or for future giveaways I would hope that Hip2Save would take into account those of us who due to reasons others may NEVER understand SOME people can NOT check there computers every few hours and USUALLY those are the ones who are in need most…. just saying…. HATERS feel free to hate! I love Collin, i love the website, i just felt this giveaway was unfair and i feel BAD that i spent so much time checking a site umteenth times a day then stop after being told it was “break” time and then lose out…. thats all…. hope a few of you are on board with me

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi there,

Sorry to hear that you are disappointed. However, with this last giveaway you did not need to be on or even near your computer. The first 25 readers who entered the Hip Hip Holiday Giveaway Extravaganza were the winners in this post. As I stated, they are not required to email or anything as the prizes will be automatically sent to them using the address they provided in the survey. I hope that makes sense.

      Merry Christmas! 🙂

      • a

I apologize collin as one i misread ur post and two (nobodya fault but myown) but the holidays have left me a lil stressed

        • Anne

Hang in there”a” We all know the Christmas season can be very stressful. You are doing the very best you can…and your kids will someday “rise up and call you blessed” (Proverbs 31: 28)

        • Veronica m

I’m sure most of us have had misunderstandings before. I know I have at least a few times. You admitted you misread and apologized for your post. I think you are pretty lucky to have had COLLIN reply to your post. 🙂 I would be so happy. Even if it was about a misunderstanding. Hope you and your family have a happy healthy holiday.

        • anita

I am still So very upset at “a”, you are so far out of line, and need to check yourself. I just got back from cleaning peoples homes, toliets ect, for 10$ an hour. I have a Masters degree and am trying to pay off the loan and raise my kids.SHAME ON YOU. I am working 60 hours
a week and have TWO special needs children that we adopted. You my dear need a shrink, and not 3 kids.

      • NEva

Collin you have an amazing spirit

    • marcy

What did you lose out on?

    • Tilla Ham

I feel like you are complaining because Collin gave away more than she said she was going to. Not everyone can be a winner, it’s like the lottery, a game of chance, a givaway to a select few…many will enter, few will win. It’s how every single solitary contest on the planet works, not everyone can win. If your children are lacking for things, there are dozens of organizations in every neighborhood to help, and especially when a special needs child is involved. I hope you can get some services for your kids so that they have some Christmas, and be grateful for the 30 dollars you are able to spend on each of them…thankfully couponing helps stretch those dollars into nicer gifts.

      • marcy

Well said!!! I was a bit shocked someone would be so angry!

        • Tilla Ham

me too:) I would love to win and feel bummed out that i haven’t had any luck with the godiva, but i would never write them a letter complaining about it 🙂 I was able to get my artist daughter a beautiful 90 dollar easel/paint/art set for 28 dollars with a coupon and sale at michael’s so i know there are super nice gifts to be had for 30, even if it doesn’t go FAR, we can make it go FARTHER!

        • marie

I don’t think she read what Collin wrote at the top of the list… that these 25 didn’t have to respond.

    • Holly Marie

It is all fun and games. Not everybody can win, lady.

    • Debbie

You have a $30 each per child? Think about it for a moment and count your blessings. I’ve got a $20 for the three of us. I consider myself lucky with that because some have nothing at all. It is time for all of us to remember the real reason for the season. Then there will be no room in your heart for anything but joy. May God bless us all this Christmas season. 🙂

      • Debbie

*a budget of $30 per child. Maybe Santa will bring me some editing skills this Christmas. 🙂

    • Tricia S.

That’s a bit harsh! Poor Collin is doing soooooo much for people she doesn’t even know!! As Collin stated this one was the first 25 people who entered that won and tidings even need to be near their computer…they would automatically be sent the gifts so you should not be irked because if you were on the these 25 you wouldn’t need to be near your computer. Collin didn’t have to do any of this to begin with!! I am in need too (as are MANY of us) and I can only spend $10 for stocking stuffers for my kid but I didn’t win and it’s OK because it’s all in good fun and many who won were in need! Just be grateful for the opportunity! =)

      • MJ

Let’s not gang up on the original poster, that doesn’t seem to help the spirit of the original plan. Everyone should be thankful for what they have this holiday, be it $2 or $2000. And hey, if you’re online you’re probably better off than 90% of the country.

        • Erin

Good points all. Happy holidays everyone.

        • eons

I don’t think anyone is ganging up on “a”, I think everyone is just gobsmacked that anyone could sound so hateful after ALL Collin has done. My gosh, there were over 8000 people trying to win, any intelligent person would realize that not everyone is going to get a prize. Can you imagine someone writing to Powerball or Mega Millions with a letter like that. 🙂

    • taosnitaa

WOZA, You did not need to “check in” on the last give-away, they were automatic winners, geez you sound like Collin was trying to trick you.

    • ellaci

I cannot even fathom how anyone could talk to Collin like that. Collin has got to be one of the MOST giving people on this planet, but she cannot possibly take care of the whole world or even 8000 of them. God bless you, Collin, you have more patience than most of us.

      • a

I must apologize as i thought it said the first 25 to respond to the post not the original one…. and as many the stress of the holidays sure is gettin to me. I misunderstood and took out my frustration of this week in general on this post which isnt fair… as a mama of 3 one special needs and unexpected but amazing set of 4 mth twins somedays i need a sensor button ON ME… collin i appilogize

        • Trish

a: We are all entitled to some venting and misunderstanding! lol I like to call that Mom brain!!! I will pray for your family along with all the others in the same boat 🙂 Merry Christmas to you and your family 🙂

          • taosnita

If A has enough time to rant and vent for 3 paragraphs, she should have enough time to read the original post. We all have “Stress” .

      • Tiffany

I think you must have misread the post, the winners were the first 25 to enter the sweepstakes not the first 25 to respond to the post. At least I would hope you misread because if not that would be a very out of line and cruel ranting.

    • tracy

and i thought what others have said in other posts were a bit too much,i dont think what you said was needed. They have given so much of their time also from their kids, not just with this, but these giveaways go on almost everyday, and there was so many that had entered,i would love to win won,and checked almost 30 times a day,but it just wasnt this time. I think you shouldve kept it to yourself, and excepted it. Or at least contacted her through email where no one can see it,because you are going to get a whole lot of crap for what you had just said. I think the only reason you wrote a whole thing is that out of guilt from collin she would award you a prize seperatly, which should not be done. You win some you lose some. Dont be selfish, everybody who comes here has some sort of money problems, and the good few people of hip2save are doing so much. Shame

    • Karmoni

Like Collin said… NOBODY needed to sit at their computer for this last giveaway, so you really didn’t miss out on much… Regardless of our financial hardships WE should be happy that Collin was generous enough to bless people.. Do you know how many people have won??? Go back and count then multiply that by 100… That’s almost a down payment for a house in most places.. Instead of being upset, pray that God continues to bless Collin so she’s able to bless many others with her generosity in return…

    • Tanya

Yeah…this was a really an ungrateful post. Even if she did do one last post where people had only an hour to claim the prize, it’s a contest and a give away….not a “let’s save the world” charity event. I have tried very hard not to get mad at people on here, but I can’t take it anymore. I’m SO incredibly sorry for everyone on here that doesn’t have money for Christmas for their kids or food for their children, but you aren’t the only ones struggling, just the only ones crying about it on a very kind woman’s website who is trying to give back this holiday season. You are NOT entitled to anything. The way I see it, everyone that is complaining needs to thank their lucky stars that they woke up this morning and that their families woke up this morning. You are on a website, so clearly you have a computer or regular access to one, that is MUCH more then alot of people can say as they sit on the street….like the homeless man that was given shoes by a new york cop, but then felt that he had to hide the shoes in a special place for fear that other less fortunate people would kill him over the shoes!!!! I am NOT a saint, but stop making yourself the victim. Take charge of the crappy hand life has dealt you and find a way around it. I have a negative balance in my account right now. We needed food and diapers, so instead of complaining and trying to slyly beg for gifts from unbelievably generous people on HIP2SAVE (fans of the site as well…whom I’ve seen show unbelievable compassion to people that were fishing for gifts), I returned Christmas gifts that I had previously purchased, knowing that I can always buy them later.
When we are broke, I go through our books, DVDs magazines, electronics and find whatever I can to sell. We recycle cans, I juggle bills, I buy a bag of potatoes and find multiple ways to use them for dinner because they are so cheap, etc…

Christmas is what you make of it. The whole point of Christmas is that Christ who is the ONLY person that EVER has deserved gifts had NOTHING LITERALLY NOTHING. He was born in a lean to barn, laid in a dirty trough that animals ate from (manager is a very high class way of saying animal feed trough), and wrapped in swaddling cloths (RAGS..that’s what that means). It’s ok for a child to not get a toy on Christmas. It’s the parents that make it a big deal. Christmas could come and go and children would never know if it were for adults telling them that they are missing something they are entitled to. Don’t have gifts for your kids??? Make stuff. I made my kids clothes, tool belt, toy bandaids and stuff out of cloth. Don’t have money for fabric? Use their old clothes. Make them a blanket out of their old clothes, can’t sew? pick out clothes made from fleece…it doesn’t unravel and therefore doesn’t need to be stitched at all. Make button bracelets out of shoe laces and buttons off of old shirts. There are ways to give gifts that are better then anything in the boxes from Collin (no offense); gifts that teach a lesson, gifts that show children that they can have nothing and be happy, gifts that show you took the time to make them something special, and gifts that show them to be content with what they have.
I want everyone to stop feeling sorry for themselves and realize that there is ALWAYS some one worst off then you. I’m not saying that what you are going through isn’t bad and painful for you, but you are making it worse by letting yourself be the victim. There are people that walk miles through a sniper filled Sudan just to get a drink of water…they don’t even know what Christmas is. I get kids with disabilities. I had legg-perthes in both hips when I was a child and it completely deformed my hips. I’m 29 and need full hip replacements but they will not do them on me because I’m too young. Sometimes I feel sorry for myself that I can’t do stuff with my kids like normal moms, but then I realize that I can’t let myself be the victim. So I find ways around it.

This rant isn’t really just for you, it’s for alot of people on here that have been trying to lay guilt trips on gracious people, however to rail Collin because you were ticked off that you walked away from your computer is ridiculous. I don’t think you are a bad person, and I would hope that the minute you hit “post comment” you realized how horrible those things you said were. I’m sure you did because you sound like a generally nice person. Help yourself rather then being hateful to kind people.

      • Tricia S.

I just want to say that although you are right about making things for you kids and making the best of your situation I don’t think it’s fair say that people are complaining and fishing for gifts!! I posted one thing once about my situation not to “fish” for gifts but because sometimes it’s nice to have a place to vent when you can’t say these things to your husband because he will feel bad because he is supposed to provide. Hip2Save is like a little family and we should be able to post our situations to get support and ideas from others going through the same thing……just think that was a rude insinuation.

        • eons

Telling your story and looking for support is one thing, lashing out at Collin is an entirely different thing and very ungrateful for all that she does for the thousands of people that come here.

          • Tricia S.

I was talking about what Tanya said not what a said 🙂

        • Tanya

I don’t think I was rude. If you took that personally, then you are already probably feeling that you shouldn’t have posted it, and you are projecting your self-conscientiousness on me.
Trust me, I care what each and every person is going through. I’m a listener and a caretaker. If you need to vent I’m here for you. I’m very sorry that you are going through tough times. I know the feeling. I can remember going 2 months without electricity when I was little because my parents could afford the bill. It was summer and in Arizona. I hated life, but at least we had a home.
However, there were definitely people fishing. One poor woman needed food and toiletries, but others were wanting toys and gifts for their kids. Maybe instead of asking people for stuff or giving out ages and likes/dislikes…fishing for stuff, people could ask others for ideas on ways to provide for their kids without money. I guess I just grew up being taught that you don’t ask for gifts and you don’t complain to strangers because you never know what they are going through and how that might offend them. Asking for food is one thing, it’s a necessity to live. I get venting. I do.

          • Tanya

            *couldn’t

          • Tricia S.

I don’t feel like I shouldn’t have posted it…why would I feel that I should not post my opinion?! You are posing yours right? Seems you are one of those people who think you are always right! My point was that many people hear others stories and think it is people begging for things but have you really ever seen someone post something saying “please someone send me some gifts…I don’t know you but please help me”!!! No probably not…you see people sharing their struggles, maybe venting about their lives and that is a healthy normal thing to do.

      • Angie

I want to be your friend, Tanya! You sound like a cool lady and a great Mom. Everything you wrote was true.

        • Tanya

Awww, thank you. You have no idea how much that means to me. I hope people realize it was said with love. I would say the same to my kids. It’s about empowering yourself.
          I’ll totally be your friend!

          • Angie

Tanya, something about your response will not allow it to get out of my head. We do not live the life of the rich and famous, but my husband does really well in his job (but we have $150K in student loan debt to make that earning possible). I am not religious, so I hope that is OK, but I would like to do something to help your family. Please e-mail me and let me know the ages of your kids. I am going to write my e-mail strangely so I don’t get a lot of spam: p e m b a u s (no spaces). It is a yahoo e-mail. I would just like to make your holiday a little merrier, if I can. I had a really poor childhood and medical problems as a child (like you) so I can relate. This is not a hand out–it is a gift to a friend. I could have used something like that during the dark, dark days of my youth. Not so much the presents, but just knowing someone out there cared (my parents did not like me because of my medical problems). I agree that presents do not make Christmas–which is so frustrating with some of these posts because if Mom is sad about not having enough material possessions, so will the kids. If Mom is happy with what we have, so will the kids. But, it would make me happy to help a Hip Mom like you. I respect your wishes either way, but please e-mail me.

            • Tanya

Oh Angie, you are so kind and compassionate. I did have a rough childhood (both of my parents are recovering alcoholics…20ish years sober), we didn’t have money, I had a hip disease, etc… however I had two parents that loved me unconditionally. Despite the stuff that they had to deal with, they gave me the gifts of love, understanding, compassion, manners, empathy, self-empowerment, and the gift of knowing God. So while things sucked, I had amazing parents that I am now best friends with.
Today we might not have money, but I have everything juggled, and next wednesday night my husband gets paid, and in a week after that he gets a profit sharing check that we use to catch up on bills and buy christmas gifts. So while we live very much paycheck to paycheck, we are ok. We have more then most.
Please do not worry about us. We have a happy life even with different struggles. Our parents(mine are in a much better position financial now) spoil the snot out of our children and us. I am absolutely humbled by your offer and the offer alone was the greatest gift you could have given me; compassion.
I’m still going to email you though because I still want to be your friend. You are an awesome lady. (And no, whether you are religious or not does not matter to me).

      • eons

Thank you, Tanya! Well said and as you said, needed to be said to more than “a” this week. Collin must have the patience of Job to be able to deal with some of the people that come to this site feeling “entitled” and offering her ways of doing even MORE contests for their benefit, UGH!!!

        • Tanya

Oh I could not agree more. Like the complaining over the ones that didn’t get claimed and how they should be recycled and given away? Collin probably has a set amount and ran the contest until she ran out.
God works for the good of those who love Him, but some times that means He gives you opportunities to help yourself or to be an example to others.

          • Jen

That’s what I thought too, about the unclaimed prizes. Obviously she knew not everyone would claim all the prizes, so actually they probably WERE recycled into the next round. Until she reached the limit she set for the giveaway.

      • Keri

Just letting you know….The homeless dude…Wont wear the shoes because he said “his photo was taking without his permission and he wants some money from it” Huge thing on my news

        • Renee

Actually he hid the boots because a homeless person wearing $100 boots puts him at risk from other homeless who might try to take them and harm him in the process.

          • Trish

Actually the last article said that the homeless guy actually has an apartment he could use and hid the boots there! Not sure why he’s choosing not to use it!

    • kari

Let’s just be grateful that Collin is so giving!! I could have complained & said its not fair for people who actually work all day long & can’t check throughout the day..but I didn’t. It’s just a fun game that gets us all in the spirit of the holiday!! THANK YOU COLLIN FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!!!

    • Mrs MW

I can’t believe u would be so rude to collin! She sacrifices her time away from her family to give us deals almost every other minute! She doesn’t owe u ANYTHING! Collin I’m sorry I am 1 of ur biggest supporters and I just don’t appreciate that. Please don’t be mad at me! But u have personally saved my family hundreds so I will stick up for u ANY DAY!

    • Asmith

Praying for you A. I hope you are able to come back and reread the post and see that you have no reason to be upset for the last 25 selected who are also the first. I find it a cute twist. I don’t know all the way blogging works but the traffic on the blog is part of the way that bloggers are able to make the funds and gifts to even provide such giveaway.
I’m sure that there is more to your story than listed on your post but I will be praying for you.

    • Sandy

I feel for you, I didn’t win anything either, I was quite bummed. I am a mommy of 8 kids and I have a very limited budget as well. If you can imagine how expensive it is to raise a family with 3 kids let alone 8. I signed up for toys for tots so my kids will get at least something for Christmas. Don’t get so discouraged, I never win anything, but maybe someone that did win is worse off than us.

I wish you and your family a very happy holiday!

      • a

Thank you sandy i mis read the post to begin with andfeel bad about my response but i must say ur response to my poorly thoughtand regreted response was very kind thank you!

        • dana

Okay people. She apologized. Twice. How long are you going to beat her up?? I think it would be fair to say that quite a few of us are feeling the holiday pinch/pressure….

    • ang

      ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

    • Keri

The main poster already apologized it was a miss understanding…No need to be so rude. Happy Holidays to all.

      • Amie

They must not read replies but it did seem she apologized for her misunderstanding not long after people really need to just let things go.

        • Keri

          Tis’ the season I suppose…=\

    • Nick

Geez! Someone’s getting a lump of coal in their stocking this year… #naughtylist

    • shelly

Even if the post was wrote the way she read it shows me she is a very ungrateful person with no christmas spirit!

    • shannon

I wish you would have apologized for your entire post. Your apology for misreading one sentence is not taking accountability for the entirety of your disrespectful post. I feel like if Collin had chosen to give to the first 25 to respond in an hour rather than the actual way she chose and clearly stated, you are holding her entirely responsible for all of the choices you have made in the past 3 days. You wrongly attacked her, her blog, and her genuine goodwill. She was gracious to even clarify what this giveaway was for you again. I am praying for you and your family and I hope you think twice before publicly attacking someone like this in the future who especially does not deserve it after she likely worked long hours to eagerly prepare, plan, and have the means to give a portion of her earnings to her devoted readers in the form of gifts tailored just for them.

    • a

AGAIN I APPOLOGIZE… if i could UNPOST my post i would… wish i COULD!!!! I feel very bad for my response and appologized to Collin… my kids are in bed now so i was able to read some of the responses to my post… i am sorry if i offended anyone as it seems i did. My response was in no way meant to be an ATTACK on Collin, it was my opinon based on what i had MISREAD and my feelings on the weeklong giveaway. Although i apologize for my post there is nothing more than that that i can do… Collin was given my apology and thats what matters!

      • Trish

It’s OK a….many people are still not reading all the posts and seeing that you already apologized multiple times!!! I do wish we had the option to delete posts that we make though too…

      • Tanya

I do agree, many people haven’t seen your apologies yet. I wouldn’t worry about it. It’s done and over. I hope you have a very merry Christmas! Enjoy those sweet babies.

  10. Kim Kelly

Bummer I didn’t win again! I was hoping I’d be a winner as I really wanted to use it for a needy child I got for Xmas who’s parents couldn’t afford much this year! Oh well, maybe later!

  11. meg

I can’t believe it….my name was first!!! Thanks sooo much and happy holidays!

    • Tilla Ham

way to go Meg, that is awesome!

    • Veronica m

      Congrats!

  12. Tracy S

OMG!!!! I can’t believe I finally won something from HIP2SAVE! I have been following this site since somehow stumbling onto it more than 4yrs ago and it is still my favorite. Thank you so much!

    • Tilla Ham

awesome Tracy, enjoy it….feels good to be lucky! I’m hoping to get lucky on the godiva instant win game:)

  13. marcia

Congrats to those who win. Hopefully my luck will soon change and I will win something this year out of all the things Ive entered.

  14. Valarie

That is so so super cool of you Colin! Congrats to ALL the winners this week!

  15. Shelley

Oh my gosh. I am freaking out. I got picked. Thank you thank you thank you! I have 4 girls and I know this will be an awesome Christmas addition. You are a wonderful person for doing all these giveaways!

    • Tilla Ham

very cool Shelley….a great opportunity for you and your girls!

  16. Shanon

You and your team are an angels! Congrats to all the winners:)

    • Keri

Im not sure why you posted this? 😉

  17. kalu

Has anyone even thought what the postage bill is going to be on all these gifts, wowza!!!!!

    • Tilla Ham

hopefully she just has gift cards, postage is outrageous!

    • Erin

I would imagine most of it will have free shipping; Collin is a shopping wizard, after all. The overall value of the prizes–$2500 here alone–astounds me, not to mention the amount of time involved in selecting the prizes. No mention of sponsors, either! Gulp! That’s one serious post-holiday bill!

  18. Jennifer B.

WOW!!!! Thank you soooooooooooooo much. I cannot tell you how excited I am!!!

  19. susanne

My name is nowhere on that list and I am still so damn happy for everyone!! It’s just a nice, feel good post to see when you go to your computer! SO nice to jump over the latest tragedy or natural disaster and escape long enough to enjoy the goodwill of Ms. Collin…..keep up the good work, sweetie!

    • Heather

I could not agree with you more, Susanne! This is the real meaning of Christmas and we are all so lucky to have Collin and her generosity this holiday season.

    • Tilla Ham

      eggsactly!

    • Tilla Ham

very cool kathleen, way to go!

  30. Cara

Oh this is so fun! No, I didn’t win, and that is totally fine with me — I had so much fun checking in on the posts and seeing all the different people winning. And what a fun final giveaway for this…rewarding those who checked in on your site first (and probably therefore most often of anyone;) when you first announced it. Love it! Such great fun!

    • meg

I laughed… my name was listed first!!! Um… how obsessed am I ??!! Please don’t answer, I don’t want to know!!!!
      Happy holidays to all!

  31. Jane

    You make a GREAT Santa!!!

  32. KarenK

Collin, your generous, giving spirit is what Christmas is lacking these days. You do so much for so many when you do not have to. Would I love to see my name on a winner’s list? Yes. Am I going to sulk if I don’t? Heck no! This has been so much fun. When I think of that initial jolt of excitement the winners must have felt, I get excited.
    GREAT JOB, COLLIN!
Thank you from a loyal (read: addicted) H2S’er. 🙂

  33. CrystalP

Does this mean there will be no more giveaways during the weekend?

  34. Dianne

I am probably the most unlucky person in the world, if I were in a drawing with 99 chances and another person 1, I would still lose. That’s okay though because my blessings are there anyway. I am so very grateful for you Collin, you are a blessing beyond belief in these times of greed and temptation pulling at people. I have life, I have my Lord, I have hope, and peace, what more could I ask for? I also have you Collin and hip2save. May you be blessed beyond all you could ask or think. Thank you for all you do to help us be good stewards of what God has given us, everything!

    • Rachel

Dianne, with all you do have I think it makes you a lucky person not unlucky!!! 🙂 Have a Merry Christmas! 🙂

  35. virgie h

Colin – thank you for all the hard work that you put into this website that allows me to be the envy of other shoppers and cashiers at the market and stores like CVS. You help so many of us throughout the year in stretching our family budgets. So, hopefully, this post and the many other ‘thank you’ posts, will overshadow the few negative ones.

p.s. I haven’t won yet, but you are still the queen of savings to me!!! whenever i am asked, how do you do your coupons, i always direct them to your website and fb page!

  36. Priya

Collin (and Bryn), thank you SO much for your generosity and congratulations to all the winners! I pray that you will be blessed a hundred times over for giving to others. May you all have a blessed Christmas.

  37. Shirley

You’re so awesome! Can’t wait to see what can be won next week. I didn’t win this time, but I am on this computer like a crazy person- it is the fun of it all that makes it worth it!!! Happy Holidays and Congrats to ALL the many winners! 🙂

  38. Felicia

Thanks for a great week! Even though I didn’t win, I still had a blast checking constantly. lol 🙂

  39. Trish

Even though I did not win I am sooooo thankful for you Collin!! You have helped me save over $3,000 since I began following Hip2Save!!! And I have been blessed with so much generosity and help in our time of need these last 2 years and I pray it happens for everyone else struggling out there! One day when I win the lotto I will pick a bunch of Hip2Saver’s to help in a giveaway of my own!! 🙂

  40. kidsallgone

What a fun week! Didn’t win but happy for those that good! You mentioned to stay tuned for more giveaways….so will it be for the 8 days of Hanukkah (starts Sat night)?!!?? Lol!
Happy Hanukkah to the Jewish hipsters and their families 🙂 🙂 🙂

  41. Leslie M.

Collin, you are absolutely amazing! I agree with a lot of others, your site is definitely my favorite and has been for years! Thank you for such a fun giveaway, you’ve blessed many, many lives! I know it! Merry Christmas!

  42. Jen

COLLIN YOU’RE AWESOME! Cheers to bringing smiles to us gals/guys who appreciate what you do day in and day out. And to anyone who remotely complains about someone being generous and giving go to the corner for a timeout lol cause that’s some misdirected stress. Cheers to all and happy holidays!

  43. Shelley

Thank YOU!!! I have checked and checked again and I think it is me 🙂 Thank you so much!! I love Hip2Save!!

  44. Em

Everyone has a breaking point, she apologized twice, get over it, you people are hating worse than A was. Very Christian of you or whatever you call yourselves. No need to reply, I won’t be checking back to look. Collin was nice and didn’t rage her out, you guys shouldn’t feel the need to either. Collin, thanks for the awesome giveaway. I didn’t enter, as I am lucky enough to be able to provide for my family and I figure someone could use the stuff more than I can, but it’s still fun seeing people win!

  45. shannon

Collin thank you for lifting our spirits and giving us plenty of reasons for hope and goodwill. You are such a great example and a true inspiration. You really brightened my day and it fills my heart knowing you brought so many people joy this week! Keep up the great work girl 🙂

  46. Carolyn

Thanks for chance to win Collin!

  47. Jennifer

Awe, oh well. Thank you for all of the giveaways lately. I would have loved to win for some family members, who like so many others, don’t have a whole lot to buy gifts with. I know I am looking under our tree right now, and there are seven bags full of gifts for families we know with small children (most 2-4 kids each). Plus something small for all the adults. Then we have gifts for all our parents, grandparents, brothers and sisters, there 8 total kids, 4 total grand nieces and nephews, and we have yet to put anything for ourselves under the tree (I still have to wrap out family’s gifts lol) it felt so good to be able to stretch our budget so far for gifts. And although I haven’t been lucky so far this year, I won 3 things last year from other sites (a keurig, a backup drive for our computer and a $50 gc 🙂 ) so I am very grateful just to be able to enter. 🙂

    • Tilla Ham

wow, i bet winning a keurig was awesome!

      • Jennifer M

Oh yes, I use it many times a day lol. 🙂

  48. Jen

I would like to personally thank you for blessing my family with a Christmas. After my hubby and I both lost our jobs this year, I feared our Christmas would be weak this year. We have been blessed by stretching our income with much help from your site:) Thank you so much for helping us make our family have the wonderful holiday season we are use to:)

  49. Nicole

Bummer! I’m feeling lucky though for next week lol. Congrats everyone, how exciting for you all!
