I just ordered the Sky Lantern Mini Hot Air Balloons for $2.49/each. After watching the video they do not appear “mini” at all. Also note that they are biodegradable. Rebates at shopathome & ebates.

After reading they were biodegradable and Eco friendly, I ordered a few for my daughter (6) to give as gifts for her friends to light and put in the air on New Year’s Eve. Think like Rapunzel lighted lantern style. We all live on different streets in the same neighborhood. It will be cute to see the all go up in the air from different locations knowing they are her friends !!

Read the reviews and the disclaimer from ThinkGeek. Apparently these lanterns are illegal in some states due to being a fire hazard. Seems like that’s definitely the case in Hawaii…

So, just wasted 40 minutes of my time shopping and putting things in my cart from this site and when I went to check out, many prices increased for me, especially the BAZINGA tee shirt…$9.99 to $18.99! I called and spoke with an operator from Think Geek and she told me they are updating their prices to coincide with some promotions??!! Are you kidding me? I ordered the clock the other day when it was supposed to be 4.99 shipped. I paid it through paypal, which went through as 4.99. I received a payment confirmation from paypal later that day and nothing since. A friend of mine already received her shipping email so I went ahead and called thinkgeek about mine. They stated that I did not pay the full price of 6.29 so they cancelled my order! Cancelled an order that I paid for?! The cart stated 4.99, so paypal withdrew 4.99 to complete the order. Thinkgeek wasn’t even going to contact me over this matter! I am very disappointed with this site. I contacted my friend who ordered the same item and she ended up paying more than the 4.99 shipped also.
