Thanks, I picked one up for my son. He just watched the first LOTR movie last night and loved it. I ordered him the dvds last night for $3.99 each on Amazon. I am thinking we might go see The Hobbit on Christmas Day. He has surgery the day after Christmas, so that would be a good treat for him.

If that’s the same one I’ve had for many years, it’s more than a pretty cover. It’s also in a nice book sleeve with a fold-out map that JRRT drew, along with his illustrations.
One of the nicest editions of The Hobbit, in fact.
