I am so excited. Our town is getting its first CVS (across from Walgreens). I am wondering, in general which usually has better deals, CVS or Walgreens?

in my opinion – CVS – but now that Walgreens has started their own rewards program, it might be different. CVS is just super expensive otherwise.

CVS regular prices are just about the same as Walgreens & Rite Aid in my area, but more than say Walmart & Target’s regular prices. However, combined with their sales, stacking manuf cpns with store coupons & extrabucks, you can walk out paying much much less than WM or Target!

Hands down CVS has the best deal. Once upon a time I had hardly any money to spend, but I was still able to shop at CVS by rolling the Extra bucks. Congrats on the arrival of the new store!

Personally I like CVS better. I am not that familiar with Walgreens but I have been in there with a friend to only hear their system was down and they couldn’t answer her questions about her points. I like having my ECB’s that print off on each receipt. I can see and hold the ECB’s but this is just my opinion. I have all 3 stores in town but it is easier for me to just do me deals at CVS.
