I just wish we didn’t always have to connect through an app page, I just want to enter the contest not give out my info…I passed but thank you for the info..
Karen says:
I have a false facebook page that I use simply for deal, sweepstakes, and coupon purposes. This way sensitive information is not continually being grabbed nor do I clutter up my regular page and alienate everyone I know haha
squarejellybean says:
i had a fake one also and now they locked me out
LOL
Sally says:
I personally hate FB, but I too have a fake account purely for accessing coupons. (I hate the invasion of privacy involved in FB so closed my original acct a while back.) I wonder why they locked you out and what tipped them off. Any clues?
Kay says:
If they locked you out – create another one. Pretty easy fix.
swirlypop says:
I was also locked out of my fake facebook page. They wanted me to confirm I was “a person” by sending text to my cell phone. It wouldn’t work because that number is associated with my real facebook. I just created another one.
Sally says:
to swirlypop: I am confused. You say you created another one. Did you give a fake cellphone number?
Jes says:
They only ask for a phone number if they get suspicious. Upload a pic (could be any pic – even a dog) and you go off the radar.
Jean H says:
I don’t give my cell phone # out because of unwanted calls–sometimes a phone call I don’t recognize IS actually a phone number I need 2 answer–like a doctor..I also don’t allow text messaging from companies because it was adding to my monthly bill since although I have a free text plan, if someone sends me a picture mail, sometimes my phone company charges me for it–reasons explained to me but I couldn’t understand so I blocked it (I have a family plan with 2 college kids on it! Need to control the costs!)
As I’m writing this I’m thinking not everyone has a cell phone–WHAT A SHOCK!!!!! LOL
Jean H says:
I also don’t have a data plan–on a family plan it would raise my rate another $80–so in the essence of trying to save, I would be spending more..would be nice, but not in the budget!

I entered! Thanks, Collin!

This is a daily entry. I personally think that when the prizes are this small, it should be a one time entry giveaway.
