Maybe I’m missing something. You are spending $10 for a $10 gift card. The benefit is 20% off for the remaining week of December?
My thoughts exactly. Doesn’t seem like a very good deal to me.
It doesn’t sound to good to me either. If they did this for all of Dec. and not just the last week I would have jumped on it.
Same here, note that the 20% off is only for Regularly Priced item, not so much a deal! I’m waiting for their after Christmas sale to buy things for myself.
This Christmas or a Trick or Treat deal? LOL!
There’s no deal in this one….
I’m a little mystified on this one too. So is every purchase with any gift card at Starbucks 20% off or is it somehow just linked to the cards purchased through this deal?
Its good for people who already buy Starbucks! Then you can get 20% off for a week stretching the $10 GC to go farther! Hubby and I LOVE the holiday flavors!
I’m guessing that you can continue to show the voucher after you’ve spent the $10. I always transfer egifts to the card that I carry in my wallet. Still considering this.
Yes, you are correct Lauren! The $10 eGift Card has no expiration date (only the 20% off discount expires at the end of December) so if you frequent Starbucks regularly or plan to stop by during the remainder of December, then you should definitely take advantage of this deal to save 20% off!
Are they on the same voucher or is it two different certificates?
i didn’t think it was that worth it considering it’s only good for another week 🙁
The 20% off and the $10 e-gift card are on the same voucher. Thanks, Colin! Love Starbucks, so it’s totally worth it for the 20% for the rest of the month. Happy holidays!
Does anyone know if you can transfer it to a gold card and still get 20%?
I just added the card to my account–I would guess you should be able to transfer to your card and show the voucher for the discount
Yes I transferred to my gold card but just showed voucher with discount code.
Thanks, ladies! I went ahead and bought it since I am heading there shortly 🙂
Plus remember if you get 7 stars by the 24th (I believe) you get a $5 egift card if you registered for that promotion
It’s the 25th, so you actually have Christmas Day to get your 7th star.
Thank You! If I am already purchasing a drink (Salted Caramel Mocha is my drink of choice), I may as well get 20% off 🙂
Not the greatest deal, but I still bought it and transferred the balance to my Gold Card. Then I printed out an extra copy of the voucher to share with my mom. It says “Your 20% off is good through the end of December, even after you’ve used up the $10 eGift,” so now we can both benefit from the savings!
