I just received this same juicer from my best friend for Christmas. We tested it out and made carrot juice yesterday! I love it! Easier to use and works great 🙂

off topic, but I just realized I have a free wall calendar from shutterfly code ($21.99 value) that expires tomorrow if anyone wants it!

      • jamie

I just emailed the code and info. If you are not going to use it, please pass it on to Kelsey who commented after you! Thanks!

    • Kelsey

I’m interested! Is there free shipping?

  3. Jennifer C

  4. Melissa

  5. CO Mama

Awesome juicer, super easy to use & clean. Only bummer is I bought it for $10 more : ( highly reccomend! Wouldn’t it be awesome if Amazon offered refunds if you purchase something from them & the the price drops within a certain number of days & you catch it…? Only thing their Customer Service does not have going for them.

    • Jasmine

City Bank offers a similar service. It’s called city rewind, when you buy something with a city credit card and they find a lower price within a certain time frame, you get back the diffrence

    • Jen

CO, They do!! 🙂 Contact them!

Thank you so much. This is the one thing I wanted for Christmas and did not get 🙂

Anyone have any ideas for a filler item to get free shipping? TIA.

    • fran

Go to www (dot) filleritem (dot) com to find something.

      • Beverly

Wow, thank you for posting that website for Amazon filler items. I didn’t know that a website like that existed. I’ve bookmarked the website and I will probably end up using it all the time!

We bought the 800 watt one and I think they are terrible. The thing is super hard to get entirely clean and if you don’t wash it well, you end up with a horrid smell and mold growing in very inconspicuous places. The 800 watt one still leaves chunks of food in the receptacle and it’s very wet. A good juicer gets the pulp almost entirely dry. Also, you can’t push the fruit down to make sure it’s getting pressure to juice it because once you push it so far, the blades fling the fruit out the back so you end up with more chunks and wet pulp. Very disappointed and wasted a lot of fruits and veggies. We took ours back and are waiting to get one that’s not so cheap. The guy who is known as the juice master did a bunch of tests on different ones and the high end ones are more expensive but have good warranties and you end up with almost entirely dried out pulp so no waste–because fruit and veggies are expensive especially if you want to buy out of season!

    • Jo

Which brands or styles were recommended by the juice master? I just got this one for Christmas so we only used it once. Not having anything to compare it to it seemed fine so far. If we decide we don’t like it though I would like some ideas on others to consider. Thanks in advance!

I actually had a higher-end juicer that I ended up taking back because of a part that started rattling inside the motor when I would pick up the machine to put it away. I was afraid that it would go out on me completely. I did some searching for some other juciers and came across this exact one at Wal-Mart for $25.00 and it works great for me.

I think it all depends on how much juicing you’re wanting to do. Also keep in mind that wattage also depends on how much it can juice at one time for you. The size of the fruit or veggie piece you try to stuff in there affects it’s juice output. If you take your time with it and put smaller pieces in it, it will juice out perfectly.

To help with cleaning, since there are many small parts to any juicer, I make a sinkful of hot soapy water and stick the parts in it right after I am done jucing. This way it is able to soak and pulp doesn’t get stuck, making it easier to clean. I also let all the parts air dry before putting it away.

I guess al I am trying to say is just because it’s higher-end or more expensive doesn’t mean it will work better.

This is off topic, but I’m hoping someone can give me some advice. I just got my mail and the post office returned 7 Kohl’s rebates worth $70 because I put 2 stamps on it and it was 2.50 oz not 2 oz. They didn’t even post mark it on the 23rd when I mailed it so how in the world am I going to put 20 cents on this envelope and remail it and get my rebates or am I just out $70?? The postmark deadline was the 23rd. i stayed up until 2am getting those rebated together and mailed on time. My blood is boiling right now, I am so angry. I never would’ve bought 7 appliances without getting the $70 in rebates.

    • fran

Dawn, Try calling Kohl’s and explain what happened. Maybe they would still be willing to accept them. Good luck! 😉

      • Dawn

Fran, I’ll call them tomorrow. I guess if they won’t accept my rebates I could take the ones back that I haven’t opened and get a refund. I’ll stick the UPC codes back on the boxes, but what about the Kohls cash I got and already spent, will they take that back from me too from the refund amount?

        • fran

Gee, Dawn, I wish I could help you, but don’t know about Kohl’s cash. I really don’t shop at Kohl’s much. Don’t jump the gun, wait until tomorrow to see if they are willing to help you.
Maybe another Hipster can answer your question about returning items that you got Kohl’s cash. Hipsters????

        • Jo

They would deduct the amount of the Kohls cash you spent if you take them back with the receipt. If you return without the receipt you will get whatever magic # amount their register tells them was the lowest price from the last X # of days. Hopefully they will still accept them from you for the rebate. Good luck.

    • shalini

I once something for which I had gotten Kohl’s cash. The cashier said that if I choose to get cash back , they would deduct the Kohls cash amount, but If I chose a Kohls giftcard as pay back option then I would get the full amount. I did have my receipts with me.. HTH..

      • shalini

        oops.. I once returned…

        • Dawn

Thanks everyone, I’ll call the Kohl’s rebate dept first and go from there. $70 is a lot to lose and over $0.20 postage!! If they had only postmarked and then returned it to me I would at least have had proof I mailed it on time.

          • cdawnt

I called Kohl’s this morning and they said they extended the postmark deadline so it will all be fine. They said they are a lot more lenient on their rebates than the manufacturers. 🙂 Kohl’s was very understanding.
