just beause it “works” doesn’t mean it should be done. skincare is for the lotions or creams for your hands, if it was for lips it would say it on the coupon
Technically your lips are skin so it would be skin care. And if it wasn’t suppose to be used for that then the computer system would stop it.
If I’m not sure of a coupon, I go to CVS.com and scroll through the categories or type in the product name and see what category(ies) it’s listed under. For Carmex, it is under Skin Care, so correct use of the coupon.
I also was able to use the $1.50 off Carmex Skin care on lip balm– specifically the little Carmex lip balm tub.
I don’t think the lipbalm is considered skincare but that’s my opinion. I would check with your store manager what the intent is. Thanks for the match-ups!

Did you do the Schick deal that was in the 12/23 ad? If so, the purchase didn’t drop from your receipt (the deal was extended for the entire wk). That could be the only reason the $3 ECB didn’t print b/c the system already had you buying 1 and getting $5 back. I’d bring it back tomorrow and return/rebuy OR have the manager force print the ECB.

It’s just hit and miss with those coupons….you can try again tomorrow and see if it prints.
If it prints, it won’t be until tomorrow. To note though, not all ads are advertising the exclusive beauty club coupons, so it may not print for you if its not in your local ad.

You almost never have to buy anything at cvs to get those coupons. They issue those to entice people to go to cvs. For us folks who go at least once a week…. We never get those coupons!

FYI I did went to purchase Aveeno tonight and the ECB didn’t print when I had a facial care product and a lotion in the transaction. It did print when I had two lotions. The ad states lotions or creams, so I don’t think all the facial products will produce the ECB eventhough they are the same sales price.
Yes that is right becuase the $6 ecb on the lotion is when you buy two lotions 7oz to 12 oz! The facial care ( wash and such) is a separate deal from the lotion/ moisturizer! HTH

I posted this because I noticed that some other shoppers were thinking about buying facial cleansers above. I figured it out in store and made the adjustment. I loved that I could buy the hand cream great size and with winter weather the perfect time to pick some up!
At my cvs they currently have three varieties of Pantene hairsprays on clearance for $1.49. $3/2 Pantene coupon came early on my doorstep tonight and in our city newspaper boxes ( yes we get free coupons – I live in a big city). Anyways soooo… Used four coupons tonight to score 8 Pantene products for free ( per coupon restrictions of 4 like coupons pet household per day), hope to get another 8 tomorrow. Just got back from CVS did the Aveeno deal and it had a limit of 12. So that would be 6 transactions with 2 Aveeno in each transaction. You can break it down however you want. Hopefully the limit won’t change! On the Hershey’s deal 2/$5, the Kisses are not included(at my store anyway). Just Twizzlers, Hershey’s Kit Kats and Resse’s Snack size. I used my Hershey’s coupons on reduced Xmas kisses. this made for a better deal!! Happy shopping.

I just got back from CVS and bought the additional $20 something dollars to qualify for the Beauty Reward and the clerk said it’s hit or miss, they don’t post my purchase until 48 hours my transaction and that puts me over to January 1 so now I may not get my reward! Has anyone ever had that happen? I wouldn’t have bought all that Cover Girl if I had known it wouldn’t count this year.
Any purchases made until 12/31 will count towards 2012 beauty club, so anytime after Jan 1 it will print your reward.
Hold onto your receipt that puts you over $50. If the $5 ECB doesn’t print two days later, call 1-800 and they will credit it to your account. They are very good with customer service.
I just checked my account online and the purchases I made yesterday are showing for 2013 and my Beauty Club balance is’t showing. I went yesterday to earn another $5.00 beauty club reward before the end of the year too, but it looks like accunts are being turned over for the beginning of the year.
I just checked my account and my 12/30 beauty purchases were credited to my Beauty Club balance for 2012 and I now have $5 Beauty Bucks waiting for me to be printed. Hth’s.
This is a bit off-topic, but since there aren’t any current posts about Meijer, I thought I’d put it here. On my grocery run on the way to CVS today, I found Pantene bottles marked down to 1.98 each at Meijer. With the $3/2 coupon for the paper, they were only .48 each – worth a look if you’re going there anyway. They had other bottles also clearanced, but these were the cheapest.

If you are going to do the deal on the Schick Hydro Blades, keep an eye out for peelies. I got one for $4 off. Used the $8 off coupon from my CVS account making them $4.99. It was actually printing $5 ECB yesterday when I went so they were FREE! But with the $3 ECB now, $1.99 would be really good too!
My cvs was wiped out of avenoo! So, I did the curel intense creams 13onz . And it printed my 6 bucks back it says at end of receipt need 10 to reach limit. So, this is part of the aveeno deal. Also, there is a lot of items 75% like bags of rice, beans,jalapenos,sweet condensed milk,chocomilkpowder,bouillion boxes, refried beans.
I wondered about that because it says Curel on my $6 ECB that printed.

Does anyone know– if I had a raincheck for Aveeno for the buy one get one 50% off sale they had awhile back, can I combine that with the current deal?
I don’t think so because normally they put the offer code on the rain check and so it would go for the other offer and not the current sale….
When I watched the Huggies $3 video, the coupons that printed had the same identification numbers, by the barcode and under the SQ code. Any thoughts on if it should just be a print limit of 1 or if they’d both be valid. I posted on Huggies page, and Huggies said to check with the store and that if I wanted to use 2 coupons I should buy 2 packages.
This is a little off topic, but since Colin used it in her breakdown…does anyone know where you can get Q’s for Sobe Life Water? It seems like I have searched everywhere and still can’t find any in my area of Southern California…They have it on sale on a regular basis at Ralph’s and CVS, but I still find no Q’s…Am I blind, dense or just have bad timing???

My local CVS had Pantene conditioners marked down to $1.24 and hairsprays $1.74. Used the 2/$3 coupons plus it went toward the $10 ebucks deal. Awesome!!!!!

I absolutely love CVS!! I just returned home from my weekly shopping trip and I scored big!! I was able to get 8 bottles of pantene, 2 puffs tissues, 1 light bulb, 2 Aveeno lotions, 1 Centrum Vitamins, 2 Natures Bounty vitamins, and a snickers bar for $.68 plus tax!! I only used $15 EB and got back $18.75!! I love all the coupon matchups and the great deals!!
The magic coupon machine printed out $4 off a men’s Clear shampoo, paired with the get one free conditioner both were only .99 plus tax!
