Thank you! There is a great deal on pantene and olay blackhead scrub I found at mommysavers. I LOVE larabars! This got me to the free super saver shipping on something that will save me money, because I won’t be running through the drive through in the morning and ruining resolutions. Gluten is HORRIBLE for my skin. lol THANK YOU!

The coupon also works on the Cherry Pie flavor — which is priced at $21.79, so $14.04 after the coupon, before subscribe-and-save.

Imo, these are some pretty yuk brs.
Can’t compare to Fiber One Chocolate and KIND bars. Yum!

    • Maggie says:

Gil, many of the Larabars have just three ingredients (at least the cherry and apple ones): nuts and fruit. That means no processed sugar, and they’re raw — so they taste different than other bars. This is a different kind of product. Personally, I love the Larabar apple flavor–as does my DH. I’m looking forward to trying the cherry, based on the Amazon reviews.

Your comparison to Fiber One is inapt. FO has a long ingredient list with chicory root (causes digestive upset in some people), palm kernel oil (which is 80% sat fat, and environmentally devastating), and added refined sweeteners–both corn syrup and sugar (which many of us prefer to avoid). OF COURSE it will taste better to people who like sweets–because two of the first five ingredients are forms of refined sugar!

Thank you! No sugar, no junk, no BS! These bars are awesome in all respects. I find most people have a problem with the consistency and not the taste. I love these and I’ll pretty much eat anything.

Do the Lara Bars get processed in a facility that has nuts and soy products or is it a dedicated facility that processes the nut free ones? I am craving chocolate and its a near impossibility to get it soy free and make sure its nut free …. Thanks for input! I did not see an ingredient list but am super interested!

    • Sarai Raffensperger says:

Larabars have nuts in their product. It’s one of main ingredients for most (I think it might be all) of their bars. From their website:

“How do you make a chocolate lover fall even deeper in love? Double the chocolate. That’s what we did in our Chocolate Chip Brownie bar, made with Fair Trade Certified™ chocolate chips and cocoa, dates, almonds, walnuts and 5 grams of fiber. Feel the love.”

  • Nicole says:

Awesome! These will be perfect for my new years resolution to eat healthier! I love that they have only a few all natural ingredients! I can switch to this instead of something sugary!
