I am curious where you find any reviews! I am trying to figure out if these use filters…

  • Sherry says:

Bought this a couple of weeks ago. Doesn’t use a filter. LOUD. Don’t really like it but it works. Would take it back if I still had the box. Hubby threw out the box. No off switch. Have to unplug it to turn it off.

Thanks for the honest review, sherry! This just saved me the hassle of ordering/returning.

It says quiet operation and automatic shut off. Wonder why yours is so loud? I usually let it run till morning so I don’t mind unplugging it. Thanks for your review.

This one says it is used for a warm mist. I thought I was told by the peds office to only do a cool mist humidifier. On the fence about ordering one. I need to order filters for my cool mist one and they are like $8. Any thoughts on the cool/warm mist?

I love my Walgreens brand one, ultrasonic cool mist and no filters!! Have two of them and the oldest one is 5 yrs old and going strong. Had to have the cool mist one, can’t keep the kids away from the humidifiers!

I prefer warm mist…peds recommend cool mist so kids dont burn themselves. But from my personal experience, warm mist works better. Just make sure its placed out of kids reach!
