So are these rewards like CVS’s ECB? Can you roll them? I have never heard of this and not sure how they work. Can someone give me a crash course? LOL
I would also like I know if you can roll these thingies…cuz that would be awesome!!!
Don’t quote me but I remember reading NO you can’t roll these but I would like to still hear YES or NO because I need some of these items!!!
Sadly, u can NOT roll them!
no you cannot roll them. Can not use rewards to get rewards.
Here is a link to the FAQ: https://www.myworkliferewards.com/loyalty/customerService/wlrFAQ.do#wlrFAQ1122
Rewards certificates and merchandise cards will not earn rewards.
No, you can’t roll them unfortunately. They email you the rewards and you can print them out and use them like a gift card in-store or online (takes a few months I think). But if you spend them on other rewards items you don’t get rewards for your 2nd purchase, if that makes sense…
Would you be able to buy a gift card with your reward dollars? The text above says they can be used on any purchase, maybe this would be a way to get around that and “roll” them.
I started doing this “Work Rewards” in September. I only buy the things that have a 100% back reward, but it includes post-its, fun post-it dispensers, coffee, sharpies, tape, etc. We have a lot of teachers in our family, so they are thrilled with my gifts:) Office Depot issues their rewards quarterly…and then they expire within a few months. I was a bit OCD on remembering to use them before they expire……because I had $250 in rewards (the most the cashier had ever seen). We buy our printer ink @ Office Depot, so my rewards go to those purchases. Pretty simple–and I make teachers happy:)
BTW, I do it all on-line & make sure I purchase at least $50/time to get the free shipping. Love seeing the UPS truck in my driveway:)
You can also use code EBPJ2H338R4FWR for $25 off of $125 and code 66755234 for $20 off of $100. Not sure how this will work on the rewards but it will cut your out of pocket cost for the time being on the free items.
Thanks for the codes Michelle! It takes a fraction off each item price, so yes it reduces the amount of the rewards received but definitely cuts your OOP which is always good 🙂
If you use Swagbucks you can connect through their “shop and earn” for 3 swagbucks/dollar (like 3% cashback) or use extrabux.com for 1% cashback.
so let me get this straight- I buy the items now, and in march I’ll get an “in store credit” for the amount I spend now, thus making the items virtually free? I’m not usually an office depot shopper, just wanting to get a clear picture of what’s going on before I try anything.
That’s pretty much it:) (More details: See my reply to #1)
So if you have a max perks card it doesn’t work. I have to get the Worklife one now?
Nevermind. I realized it was a different store.
Different company: Max Perks are for Office Max. Worklife Rewards are for Office Depot.
Can’t buy any type of gift card…tried to get a gas card…no go.
Thank you!! We’re moving and I’m slowly packing away things into reusable storage bins. I’m going to buy a couple of these and later use it to purchase ink. The bins are useful in moving because last year when we moved, I had some plain moving boxes, and some of them were falling apart. This way I can buy something which is more durable, and also can be used for the future (my son’s toys, drawings, random stuff, etc.)
I know there is a limit of 2 per member per day however someone told me its per item number. Therefore on the storage containers you would technically be able to buy 2 of each different container as long as the item numbers are different. In the past I’ve always done just 2 containers or when they would have (both AAA and AA) batteries I would buy 1 of each but this would allow you to buy 2 of each. Does anyone know if this is true?
I just chatted with customer service and asked this– I was told that each Item# is a unique item toward the limit of 2/member per day. I specifically asked about all the file totes, since they are listed individually.
