WooHoo! If you love Aveda products as much as I do 😀 , you may be excited to hear that through tomorrow, Aveda.com is offering up FREE shipping (no minimum!) and 3 free deluxe samples of your choice with ANY order (no code needed; applied at checkout)! Note that it appears that most of the travel size products are excluded from this promo. You can also enter the promo code AVEDAFS to score a Free Sample of smooth infusion style-prep smoother and a Free Sample of Be Curly Style Prep!

As an idea, you could score this Lip Saver for just $8.50 to qualify for the 5 additional freebies AND FREE shipping! So for just $8.50 (+ tax) shipped out of pocket, you can score all of this… which is an awesome deal for expensive Aveda products!

One of my favorite products is the Aveda Best Seller Pure Abundance Hair Potion priced at $24… in fact I love it SO much that I call it my “Magic Potion.” It’s one of my little splurges that I try to snatch up whenever a free shipping promotion like this comes along!

And please keep in mind, I know these more expensive deals are not for everyone. However, I like to post an assortment of offers and this offer in-particular has me excited since I LOVE Aveda products! Please don’t ever feel as if I am wanting you to buy everything posted on Hip2Save. In fact, quite the opposite. I post such a vast array of deals, so that you can be picky and choose only the deals that you truly think are worthy of a purchase.

(Thanks, Miss BeSavin & Melissa!)

Was just running low on my favorite, Damage Remedy. Thanks for sharing Collin. To me, Aveda is worth the money. My husband and I have an agreement. I don’t ask how much he spends on fishing gear, and he doesn’t ask how much I spend on my hair.

    • Steph

what an awesome arrangement. I think I need to start this for my new clothes habit (although I shop Goodwill, sales racks, and garage sales for the name brands). I think I will “over look” all his hunting junk….

      • Melissa

LOL!!! I have the same EXACT arrangement with my hubby! He spends so much money on fishing gear that he has stopped asking how much I spend on beauty products AND shoes!

  2. Danielle

It is sad you have to put that disclaimer on here 🙁 If I am going to buy high end anyway, might as well get a deal on it!!!

    • Samantha

I agree! Collin posts such a great variety–it’s not all about getting stuff for free (although its always nice;), or having one person like everything she posts for that matter lol

Thanks for all you do for us through Hip2Save Collin!

    • Elaine

I agree. I guess someone must have made a stupid or rude comment. I wish people came equipped with mouth filters 🙂 personally love these deals because it’s nice to try higher end products at a fraction of the cost!

      • Erin

I don’t think so, but there were a *lot* of unhappy people who bought Bumble and Bumble products on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, didn’t get the freebies, and were seriously bent out of shape about it. I would have been unhappy, too, because B&B is soooo not worth the price. I don’t get how their products get such high reviews on their site. Must be employee reviews. 🙂 That said, I, too, like the mix of deals here. In fact, I think I prefer the higher-end deals because they are much easier to score. 🙂

        • Elaine M

I ended up calling Bumble & Bumble customer service when I didn’t receive samples and they happily sent them to me 🙂

        • Danielle

that happened with me an B&B 6 months back or so, when I called, they sent it right away! I ordered for cyber monday and everything was great! But sadly, that isn’t collins fault, she shouldn’t have to justify the deals 🙁

  3. Jessica

Thanks for posting. I had an email from them about it, but deleted it without realizing it was such a good deal. I love Aveda products, too, and think they’re worth the occasional splurge!

  4. Lindsay Lee

Thank you so much for posting this I love pure abundance as well. I am almost out I was hoping a hot deal would come soon! =)

  5. laura

I go to your site first, because of the variety of deals you post. Keep them coming. My family has a variety of wants and needs – I can count on you to post the deals that help us save every time! (now if you would just post Vera Bradley deals I would be all set!!)

    • Hiro

I like the variety of deals she post too. Without Collin’s site I will be missing so many good deals!

    • Danielle

hahahahaha. The vera bradley made me laugh!

    • Becky

I agree.. I read once that Vera Bradley is just too expensive but it is my one splurge.. I personally can’t afford a Coach purse unless I buy from a garage sale…

      • Jennifer

Haha! I once bought a Kate Spade from a garage sale for $1. It was stained, so I cleaned it and now it always gets compliments.

  6. Shawna

I think it’s great that you post a variety of deals! There are some items that I am willing to spend extra on, and a deal alert is always appreciated! Thanks!

  7. Karen

Thank I was almost out of my Style Prep (magic in a bottle)! Thank you!

  8. Megan

Thank you for posting this! I have already ordered and it worked on the eye liner sharpener for $5 that I needed anyway!

  9. Jen

Love love Aveda- I’m a fan of smooth infusion for my thick, coarse, kinda wavy mop. But now I’m really curious – what type of hair is the pure abundance for? Need to know before I order!

    • irene

If your hair is as coarse and curly as mine, Brilliant Humectant Pomade works amazingly well and a little goes a long way. The smell is classic Aveda… wonderful!

  10. Megan

I thank you for posting a variety of deals as well! There are some things that I prefer to spend more on, but I still always want to get a good deal! I LOVE Aveda products too. I tried to use cheaper stuff for a year or so then went back to Aveda. I buy the big bottles of shampoo and conditioner. I am still using the ones I bought last March!

  11. Kate

If you’re just looking to get the samples as cheaply as possible, the refillable lip color case is only $4 and qualifies for the promotion.

  12. Jennifer

If you don’t need any more lip balm, there is a refillable lip color case for $4 and a makeup pencil sharpener for $5.

    • Rachel

Excellent deal! Just bought the sharpener and got the 5 free samples. Happy happy happy!

    • Kele B

I have a mini drawer filled with Nivea but the sharpener I needed! Thanks!

  13. Suzanne

Thanks Collin, I look for your deals with the free samples so, I can use them in gift baskets next Christmas =)

  14. Steph

Hm, I have been wanting to try their products. Now may be the time. When there was a Bb deal before the holidays I jumped on that one. I wanted to try their products too. I am glad that I did as I do like them. I got the Dry shampoo. I did discover though to never buy it by the color of my hair. I have brown, and it’s like brown spraypaint. It comes off on my hands, and in the shower. I do like what it does, and how it feels but next time I will just get clear….. Live and Learn 🙂

  15. Liz

This just made my 2013 deal wise!!!

  16. Lisa

This is my absolute go to web site for deals. I LOVE the variety! No one else does it better. I come here first and if I only have time for one it is this web site! Thank you!

  17. Kristina

Collin, I think you do a great job with this site. I don’t think you need to justify what you post on your own site. Let the haters hate, but don’t feel the need to respond to them. I will say that your site has transformed me into quite a shopper, but I put myself on a monthly “hip-to save budget” so I don’t go overboard on all the good deals.

Also, I think a lot of your readers would benefit from suggestions about cost savings ideas that don’t come from a store…For example, homemade laundry detergent saves me $20 a month. Or cloth diapers saved me $1000 this year. Or here is how you can make your own cloth diapers and save even more…Maybe you could start a separate forum/blog somewhere on this site that allows your readers to comment on how they save $ on everyday items.

Just a suggestion! Thanks again for all your hard work.

I loved AVEDA products and salons but recently my stylist there told me that the products have been taken over by a different company (Estee Lauder) and the quality of ingredients, aka the green standards have been significantly changed.
She said that many people are incredibly disappointed that trust this ‘green’ image of Aveda, only to read the ingredients on their products and realize that many contain parabens, sodium laureth sulfate, artificial fragrance, petrochemicals and other ingredients of questionable safety and origin. In fact, the majority of Aveda’s products rate no better in the Cosmetic Safety Database than products from brands like MAC Cosmetics, which makes no claims about being natural or eco-friendly.
She was very dissapointed and seeking different employment because of it (she’s a green goddess:) These are still good products but very pricey for not being as green as everyone believes.
Just wanted to give loyalists a heads up.

    • l

Estee Lauder also donates funds sympathetic to Israel. That is reason enough for some to slander them and reason enough for some to support them.

      • cakewalkingmother

I’ll repeat, “These are still good products…”
I’d like to know more about the funds that Estee Lauder appropriates to Israel.

    • Alysia

As a hairstylist, I can tell you that Estée Lauder has owned Aveda since 1997….Aveda still operates as their own company though. It is the most natural and Eco-friendly hair care brand in my opinion…they are striving towards ALL paraben, petro, sulfate free, and many of their products already are. I also use and sell Arbonne products because of their ingredients policy….I have done a ton of research on the ingredients of Aveda, and you cannot find anything better in my opinion! Hope this helps 🙂

  19. Jamie McCoy (@davitaphotoart)

I love these deals. I always buy them throughout the year and when Christmas comes, or birthday, I make baskets with fantastic beauty products for the ladies in my life. The better the deal, the more I can include!

  20. Deb VanHouten

The samples are probably not the little bottles (as shown), they are most likely little single use pouches. The small travel bottles contain 50ml. These samples only contain 10ml.

    • Mel Mac

whenever I go to the Aveda salon, they give me deluxe samples which are indeed the small bottles/tubes shown. they are smaller than the travel sized items that they sell.

  21. irene

Collin, can you post higher-end deals on clothing, too? I love Anthropologie and J Crew. They have great clearance sales, but not always aware of them, even with they send emails.

    • Jen

Irene, thanks for asking Colin to maybe see about posting deals for higher end stores, etc. I have found some AMAZING deals @ JCrew, Anthropologie, Black House/White Market, Ann Taylor. etc Not only do these stores have a tendency to sell very timeless pieces, the quality is quite good.

    • Danielle

no! I may not be able to resist the anthropologie and jcrew deals!! (Please know I am kidding 😉 )

    • Ashley

I agree! I love Anthropologie and am always hoping to find some good deals, but seem to only ever be able to come across them randomly. 🙁

  22. cathy

Thank you! I coupon NOT because I must to survive, but because it is my responsibility as a good consumer….so I am willing to spend more on a good product and it’s so fun to get great deals in the process- I appreciate your variety of offers. You are an exceptional blogger. You have a gift, and I thank you for sharing it with us! Not all of us are as able or capable of finding such great deals, and we THANK YOU!!!

  23. Fay

Thank you Collin. In our house we swear by the Hair Repair stuff from Aveda. It is wonderful as a hair detangler since myself and daughter have very fine hair.

  24. Single mom

Collin, I LOVE what you do. Your website has helped me so much. I’m a single mom with two teenagers. My ex suffers from mental illness, so there’s no child support coming in. I struggle with my one income to keep our family afloat on what used to be a very comfortable two income lifestyle. I’ve been following hip-2-save for over a year and it’s been an AMAZING journey. I’ve learned the right way to coupon and have been able to provide for my daughters in ways that never would have been possible and I LOVE THE VARIETY of things I see here. Sure, there are a lot I do not need….like diapers and toys….but I just try to pay it forward and share those deals with friends, family and neighbors who can benefit. It’s so much fun to check in and see what “Collin has found today.” I’m intelligent enough to know….yes, that’s a great deal on diapers, but I don’t need them, so move on to see what’s posted next. I know that LOTS of readers really need those diaper deals, so hurray for them and for you, Collin, for trying to help EVERYONE no matter what stage we are in life! YOU ROCK!

  25. Jen

What a great deal. For $9.10 TOTAL (W/ tax), I bought the lip saver you have listed ~ I fish on the water a lot so my lips are always dry. Plus the 5 freebies !!!! AWESOME ….Thank You again for another great offer & savings..

  26. Zosia

Sin up on their website for emails and u will get a $25 value gift on your bday! Just got mine 🙂

    • CeeCee

Good to know! It’s my birthday this month. Do you know how long it takes to get the email for the bday gift?

    • Jennifer

my birthday was yesterday and the only thing they sent me is a free sample when I spend $25 or more. and free shipping. I used to get the postcard for a cream or perfume but not this year.

  27. MAKfree

You can also get the $5 pencil sharpener or $4 lip color refill and qualify for the curly products, free shipping and the three samples

  28. modo

I used willpower from when this was first posted until now. I caved. I need a new eyeliner sharpener (Sephora’s don’t hold up well). When I saw the price, I couldn’t resist 🙂

  29. jen

Thank you, Collin! It’s nice to see a variety of deals.

  30. Sue

    Re: Disclaimer

Ya but it is so tempting!

  31. Jody M

You can use up to 2 codes. So I also used the code INVATIDUO and received samples of the Invati Shampoo and Conditioner for a total of 7 samples.

    • rn30032

dang wish I would have known

    • rn30032

just checked website and you have to spend $30 to use at code

      • Jody M

Yes, I spent $30 so I guess that’s why I was able to use it. I didn’t realize there was a min for that code. Thanks for clarifying that.

  32. Mel Mac

I wish I could choose the rosemary-mint body wash for all three of my samples! I love that stuff!

  33. c

THANKS for posting a glam deal. You certainly got us all talking. I love AVEDA.

  34. Deb VanHouten

I was able to order Caribbean Therapy™ Body Scrub for $8 and get all 5 of the samples.!

  35. Susan

Is this offer still valid? I don’t see it on the website and I am not able to use the AVEDAFS code without spending $50.

  36. Kayla

Thanks so much for posting this offer, I haven’t ever tried Aveda products and was very surprised by the awesome reviews! I have been purchasing salon products for years but have yet to find the best fit, hope this is it. Thanks!!!!

  37. Sara

I love aveda, in fact after my hair being damaged from all of the drugstore brands, for me, it has been the only brand that keeps my hair healthy. That is enough proof of it being natural and worth the extra money. Thanks for finding Collin!

  38. Jennifer S.

I was able to get the Carribean Therapy Body Scrub for $8, and Control Paste for $22, PLUS use code AvedaFS for 5 samples, AND use code INVATIDUO for additional 2 samples, so total $32.55 for 2 must-have products and 7 samples with free shipping! Thanks Collin! You saved me a trip to the mall AND car-fare AND got me some freebies as well. Triple score 🙂

  39. Heather

If you want to spend at least $25, enter code AVEDASTYLE25 and receive on additional sample.

  40. Sophie

Great! I got the caribbean scrub & 5 samples for. $8.74. My husband got me a new travel zip container for Christmas & I can’t wait to fill it with these items. I have curly hair, so I picked an extra curly item as one of my samples to try!
