This is a message I found on the local coupon Facebook chat group that I follow from the Walgreen’s Manager, letting us know a deal is coming up and asking if us “couponers” were planning to purchase much or not and giving his contact info at the store to let him know if he should order large quantities for us. I have NEVER seen customer service like this! Especially toward the couponing crowd. I love it!!! I had actually stopped shopping that store and am now totally motivated to get back in there. What if all managers were that helpful?!?!

Kudos to this awesome Manager!!!! I hardly go to the Walgreens near me anymore because I’ve been treated so poorly soooooooo many times. It’s not worth it! I do wish more store managers were as Hip as this one though. It actually makes shopping fun.

I don’t go to the one by my house anymore either. It has to be a good deal for me to even go into a Walgreens anymore.
I never thought buying 6 bags of chex would cause me never to go to Walgreens anymore. For a simple rain check I had 2 managers and 3 cashiers looking over my raincheck. Than was told since I got it at a slow Walgreens they can put no limit on rainchecks. The high volume store I was at would only allow one. Then lecturing me on how the raincheck was made. Than they all gave me a look when I told them I was a customer I have nothing to do with how this was written up.

albertsons did that to me and claimed it wasn’t a legitimate rain check because it wasn’t filled out properly, i stood my ground, got my juice, and told them they better retrain their employees

There is this one particular cashier at my local Walgreens that always gives me the strangest looks when I check out. She honestly makes me feel really uncomfortable. I try to avoid her whenever possible. I don’t know what her deal is. Everyone else there is fine. I don’t go to Walgreens really unless there are great deals. Not thrilled about the new balance reward program. I miss the RR. There seems to be so few RR deals these days. Kuddos to this manager for being so awesome to couponers. We need more managers like that.

When I went this week and got Pepsi products, the Pepsi man made sue I had coupons for all my drinks. Here in Texas they were 4/$10 and 2 liters were 4/$5 with $1 off 12 packs and .75 cents off 2 liter coupons. Making them $8 for 4 12 packs and 4 2 liters and earn 3000 points!! Also, a cashier came over to help me get the coupons off the 12 packs!

I lOVE my walgreens at Stroh Ranch in Parker! The management and staff are ALWAYS helpful and patient with coupons. LOVE to shop at my Walgreens. (I have had not so good luck with other Walgreens stores)

My husband is a grocery dept manager at a grocery store and ever since he’s been manager it has really opened my eyes to how retail employees are treated especially from couponers or customers. Don’t get me wrong I am one but I just wish others could see it or be in their shoes. We always just hear about how customers are treated badly but I just can’t get over how many times he or other employees are treated badly about stuff they can’t control. My husband has gone above and beyond for customers like once offering to drive with his own car across to the other grocery store to get a product as his store was out. The customer just flipped and ended up walking out because his store didn’t have it even with his suggestion. Please remember that they are human and sometimes things are even out of their hands.

We have a new manager at my CVS. He put all of the “freebies” on one endcap during the Black Friday sales. I asked him why he did that, he said, “Well, I know you couponers are going to stick to your lists and this just makes it easier.” I was THRILLED! He also took me through the store to show me some coupon scenarios he had thought up! WOW! I look forward to my CVS trips instead of dreading that I’ll be criticized for my coupons!
