I don’t think u can use 2 cvs coupon in a single transaction, it will BEEP. so may have to do 2 transactions

    • Kim

I don’t think you can either.

its one cvs coupon and one manu. coupon so yea it will work woot woot

        • Kim

She says to use 2 of each coupon.

Darn! Thanks for letting me know. Will update now…

          • autumn t

oh woopsie i see…well many do 2 transactions?

  2. Emmy

the first link is only giving me a $2 off not $3?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Yes, you need to combine both coupons – a $2/3 and the $3/3. Hope that helps! πŸ™‚

if you do the deal twice (only getting 3 cards per transaction), then it’ll be a moneymaker

Just a heads up. I did this deal….but at my store it is impossible to find cars for $1.99! I only found 2 and they weren’t really appropriate for what I needed. So Just remember that. But If you can find them then it is a great deal!

I have been having the same issue. My store used to have .99 and $2 cards in their own section but then decided to get rid of that so now there are a lot less cards to choose from for these deals.

My CVS carries American Greetings cards πŸ™

    • Anna_in_NC

She has a deal posted for American Greeting cards if you scroll down. There are 2 coupons to use for that deal.

Just in case anybody was wondering, the $3/3 coupon is only good on $1.99 and up cards (I was hoping to use it on $.99 ones)

    Wouldn’t this deal be better:

Buy (3) 1.99 cards, use the $3/3 cvs coupon and $2/3 manufacturer coupon, subtotal $5.97- 5.00 (coupons) , pay .97 (32 cents each) for 3 cards.

Do a second transaction during the week same as above.

Total for 6 cards, pay $1.94, get $3.00 ECB, making it a $1.06 money maker!!

YEP! That’s the deal I’m doing πŸ™‚ It’s really strange but this is the second blog I’ve seen do the “buy 5 cards” scenario when you can easily buy 6 and split in two transactions…your card does keep track so you don’t have to buy them all in one transaction and you avoid the cvs coupon beeping πŸ™‚

I just tried to do this deal earlier tonight, but didn’t have the $3/3 off coupon, only the $2/3 off mentioned previously. I was buying 6 cards and had 2 of each coupon ($2/3 cvs and $1/3 MF). The register beeped when he tried to scan all of them. So then I asked about splitting 3 of the cards to a separate transaction, so he voided 3 cards and rang them separately. It accepted the $2 CVS coupon but beeped on the $1 MF coupon. Is that right? I’m so confused on what coupon combinations will work at CVS. Maybe I need to go look at the CVS guidelines.

i think my store only has american greetings cards for the $3 ecb. does anyone doing this have both sets of cards for $3 ecb?

  10. Octavia

Hey, did any one get the Buy 2 cards get 1 free Hallmark cvs coupon in thier account? If so, does it take off the full amount of 2.50 or just the price of one card?

    • Jana

      Yup it takes off 2.50

  11. Jordan

I really feel as though this deal makes no sense…Buy 5 cards? If you use manu and a store coupon that would mean you have to buy 6 right or just three?
