I think I asked this on an older post by mistake, but I’m wondering if anyone who has ordered the Walmart gift card from Recyclebank remembers if the email with the actual credit came from Recyclebank or Walmart? I ordered one 10 days ago and still haven’t seen it.

Replied to the wrong one….sorry. Hi, Frugalfemme, I have ordered the Walmart Giftcard. You get the acknowldgement from Recycle Bank first in an email and then several days later I believe it was an email from Recycle Bank again with a pin code and a link to go to in order to get your Walmart gift that you have to print out, so be prepared. Mine worked fine. You can also go into the Recycle Bank itself and it will have the Walmart Giftcard info there if it was already issued because you can (but do not have to) indicate on the Recycle Bank site whether or not it has been used or not. Hope that helps.

Thanks so much Lis. I actually got the email with the code yesterday a little after 5 p.m. I was getting concerned because I thought it originally said 5-7 days for delivery, then I saw it was 7-10 days, but still I ordered it on the 18th so I was going to call customer service soon. It helped me to know I needed to look for something else from recyclebank.

you can use the email card & pin # and order a hard copy of the GC through walmart’s website (get free shipping too!). Thats what a lot of ppl do on swagbucks, convert the e-gc to a plastic card b/c some (well A LOT) of cashiers are clueless on paper gc’s 😉

forgot to say that when you get to payment method, select Walmart GC as the option by clicking on the + under payment options.

You are too funny, Mel, but I have to agree with you about the paper giftcard. It does throw the cashiers. My sister even had one cashier who told her there was nothing on the giftcard (a paper one). Thankfully, my sister kept the paper giftcard and found a cashier who knew what to do, so do be careful when using them.
