  3. Kristen

Anyone have any good recommendations for a popcorn popper? …. And/or any good deals? I have been wanting to purchase one but can’t decide. Thank you!

    • Elizabeth

The Whirly Pop is about $25 on Amazon…it is ALL that we use! Use coconut or Safflower oil and it’s delicious!

  4. Diana

Stircrazy is my favorite brand of popper! 🙂

    • Kristen

Thank you for the recommendations! I am going to try the Stir Crazy! I think my daughter will like that one because you can see it being popped.

  5. Karina Koji

yay! thanks collin, this stuff is great!

  6. Melanie

We have a stircrazy also, and we LOVE it!! The popcorn is so yummy! And may I also suggest buying organic popcorn(most grocery stores should carry it, right next to the regular popcorn), it’s not too much more expensive than regular corn. Corn (corn oils, etc.) are one of the most gmo-foods out there. Been trying to be more aware of gmo foods lately. I’ve been wanting to try coconut oil, I just may have to get this deal!! Thanks, Collin!

I would like to use this for hair, body, in coffee and cooking , what one should i get, all new to me. I just posted today on collins website of coconuts oil, just dont know what one to get , so many out there? please help me out. TIA

Just the regular coconut oil is fine and can be used for everything. I can’t figure out why they call that one coconut oil “hair oil” but I’m sure it’s something dumb like “whipped” or something. I use a different brand but I use it for everything hair, skin, teeth, cooking, deoderant, furniture polish, lube….seriously everything.

      • Em

By regular oil I mean the first one listed. The expellar pressed yadda yadda

      • brenda81966

Thank you Em for answer my question, i am going to buy some, love to know how you use it for you teeth and deoderant. thanks so much Em!!!:-)

I make a little toothpaste with coconut oil and baking soda and use it a couple of times a week, not to often because of the abrasive quality. I use tooth soap which has no abrasive quality so this is how I keep my teeth nice and white. Then I oil pull with it first thing in the morning, just put a teaspoon in my mouth and swish until I can’t swish anymore (your mouth gets so full!) and that keeps my gums nice and healthy. Some say it detoxifys you but I’m not real sold on that, maybe it does, Idk. For deoderant I mix 5-6 teaspoons coconut oil with 1/4 cup baking soda and a few drops of essential oil. I put it in a tupperware container and scoop a peasize amount out with my finger and rub it on in the morning. No stink for 24+ hours and really not much sweating. I have Arab blood, we sweat a lot…so it definitly works! Even my husband uses it. 🙂

I stocked up on coconut oil because that was the big craze for 2012. Now organic virgin red palm oil is the big thing for 2013. When is it ever going to stop?! ;->

    • brenda81966

Shelby, is this a coconuts oil to buy for coffee, hair, and food reason? never bought it before

      • Em

Never, lol! I avoid palm oil only due to the fact that it has some shady practices around it re: harvisting. Coconuts obviously fall off the tree and whatnot so it’s not a big deal, but palms are being deforested! We’re killing our beautiful Earth and it makes me sad. 🙁

        • Shelby

Hey Em, I did some research on what you were talking about and I was so surprised and shocked by what I read! Orangutans are killed each day for palm oil because of the deforestation process. I had no idea! Craze of 2013 or not, I’m sticking with coconut oil. Thanks for enlightening me.

          • Em

It’s sad right!!!? I think there are probably safe companies out there that farm raise, but I haven’t researched enough to find them, mostly because I LOVE my coconut oil lol

      • Shelby

Brenda, I’ve mostly used my coconut oil for cooking. But yes, it has many other uses. I highly reccommend it.

  9. Danielle

I don’t know about this brand, but FYI, replacing vegetable oil with coconut oil in homemade granola is FABULOUS!

  10. Rachel

Their moisturizing cream is awesome! I ordered some unscented and some baby silk scent last time and I’m not a fan of the baby silk. The unscented has a slight coconut smell (of course) and it does wonders for my dry skin:). I just ordered 3 more at this price. Their organic spices are good prices too – and they have organic popcorn for sale. I love this site:). Great prices and great products! Free shipping makes it even better!

  11. Lauren Giles

can you switch regular cooking oil with coconut oil straight across? proportions and everything without a difference in taste? I’ve never used it before, but have always wanted to try it.

  12. Grace

I bought this deal today and then went to Costco and they have a gallon of organic Nutiva brand coconut oil for only $21.99! That’s 28 cents/oz vs 39 cents/oz through this deal. 🙁 Still cheaper that health stores or Amazon, but still…

  13. MM

Coconut oil for hair (an excellent conditioner, apply it to hair an hour before or upto 24 hrs and wash you hair with shampoo)is available for a fairly decent price at any Indian Stores. There are several around in Portland/Beaverton area.
