Is this only for dine-in? Or could we order take out and get this for our child?

I’ve done it with take out. I called my local restaurant ahead of time to confirm but they had no problem. Just select pay in store and bring the coupon(s) printed out when you pick up your order. Unless you live super super close to your local Chili’s (our was about 10 minutes or so away), I’d steer clear of the fried items. The chicken breasts off the kids menu were suprisingly good though.

    Is this scenario too much?

We have 4 adults and 4 kids.. can we go and order 4 adult entrees and 4 kids meals.. then orders 4 more kids meals to go and get all 4 kids meals discounted? Left overs for lunch the next day ?! and or course tip on the amount before discounts 🙂

    • Shayla

Not sure if that will work, as they typically want to see the “kids” (ie: would need 8 kids to get 8 kids meals). However, this worked perfectly with the 2 for $20 deal with 2 kids (and beforehand, was going to just share a meal with the hubby and have the 2 kids get their meals for free; however, found out the other was a better deal for us).

was just wondering if we get the FREE kids meals can we still use the FREE Skillet Queso and Chips coupon with it?

I have worked for Chili’s since 2008, so I hope I can be of some help.
You can use coupons for take-out, any coupon at any time.
However, you cannot use 2 coupons on the same trip, take-out or dine in, and you cannot combine coupons with the $20 Dinner for Two or $35 Dinner for 2. Thus, you cannot use a free appetizer coupon for the $20 Dinner for 2 appetizer or for another appetizer on top of that. At the bottom of the coupon it will specify no combination with other coupons or special offers, so no, you may not use a free Queso coupon with a free kid’s meal coupon.
As far as eating in and then ordering four more kids meals to go, that depends on your restaurant. Franchised Chili’s I doubt will allow it (generally because they are allowed to say no), and it depends on the Manager on Duty (MOD) as far as a corporate restaurant is concerned. I know my GM would honor the four extra kids meals to go because it does not specify anything of that nature on the coupon.
And yes, tipping on the total before the discount is always super appreciated 🙂

Is it considered “multiple redemptions” to have 2 adults (my hubby & I) and get our 4 kids their meals?

      • Cindy D

We do this all the time. The coupon says multiple redemptions “ARE” allowed.

Also, you can bring the coupon in and show it on your smart phone, you don’t have to print the coupon off. As long as we can see the code and expiration date, we will honor your coupon.

    • Shayla

So thankful for that! We are on vacation and do not have access to print the coupon so we just showed it on my hubby’s phone and they honored it. So happy and scored brownie points with the hubs =) Also, they allowed us to use the 2 free kids meals with the 2 for $20 so extra excited. Thanks all for the tips!!!
