Fine print says not to be used on sale merchandise :(

    • Darn! :( Thanks for catching that…just updated!

You can spend your $10 however you’d like, including on sale merchandise. I’ve worked for B&BW for 4 years and have never seen exclusions on the part of the transaction that you pay for to qualify for the discount/freebie. I’ve never seen that statement on a coupon (though I do see where it is on this one), and we’ve never been told to exclude anything in the purchase part. Weird.

I’m pretty sure all their coupons say that. All it really means is say candles are on sale for $10 and they are normally $20 you still can’t use that coupon on a candle because it is over the sticker price of $14. So as long as you make sure the item you want is a sticker price of $14 or under you can use this coupon on it, even if its on sale.

Well I went today I got three candles but I used a 10.00 off 30.00 from survey. I however also printed the coupon above and they had the Forever Red on sale for $10.00 reg. price 17.00, (for the semi small bottle), anyways the Forever Red lip gloss was 12.00. I tried to use the 10.00 off on the Forever Red and the sales lady/rep, very sweet informed me that not on the sales items. However I paid for Forever Red and got the Lip Gloss on sale. She actually did me a favor because I would have paid 2.00 more the other way around. However she did stipulate that coupon was for reg. priced merchandise and not sales items.

The coupon says ON February 10th. Does that mean it can’t be used before then? Kinda new to this coupon stuff :-\. Thanks!

    • fran says:

It shows “through Feb 10″, so you can use it now ;)

      • J says:

They corrected it. Earlier it did say “Offer valid at U.S. Bath & Body Works stores on February 10, 2013.”

Thanks for the heads up on this!

Im excited about my purchase. Three candles for 11.00 and I used a 10.00 of 30.00 only paid 24.00 with tax. Then I had two free 5.00 items from signature collection no purchase required, so I got two signature lotions for 5.00 ea. FREE. Then I used Collins coupon and bought the Forever Red Spray on sale for 10.00 and with the coupon got the lip gloss for free. Happy Valentines to me :)… Thanks Collin

I was able to use this coupon with their sale going on to buy (buy 2, get 1 free)…making it buy 2 get 2! Pretty good deal, especially since the aromatherapy hardly ever go on sale!
