These are not fabric softeners. They are scent boosters… I use them all the time. My hubby hauls fuel and comes home smelling of diesel. These help with his laundry..
Didn’t want anyone to be disappointed if they bought them expecting them to be softener

Thanks for the 311. I thought it was softeners. I thought 1.99 was kinda expensive for a fabric softener if I’m paying about the same for detergent.

How in the world do you pay 1.99 for detergent? Just curious 🙂

        • rgalleytax@gmail.com

I won’t pay more than $1 for detergent. There’s usually a deal every 6 months or so. I got about 40 bottles of Purex at KMart about 3 months ago using double $1 coupons combined with a Catalina offer.

Oops… please ignore the email address… stupid autofill

I see, so this is an instance where you can’t be brand loyal? How big are the bottles and how many loads?

        • mindy

for me $2 for tide 32-40 loads and $1 or less for other brands (purex/arm&harmer)

I was going to say the same thing. The first time I bought them I thought it was a fabric softener…does not get out the static although it does smell great!

Love love this stuff! It is kinda expensive so I only use it on our sheets and it makes the whole room smell great!

  3. Heather

I make my own laundry and add this. This is actually the most expensive part so I am glad to get a deal!

These were not ringing up as BOGO at my CVS today. Just got back and these were not marked with the other Purex things as BOGO so had the cashier check them first and…nope, no go. 🙁 I love using these on our sheets as well!!
