It might take off $9.50 for the underwear and $7.49 for the shipping. Maybe?
it says free undie UP TO 9.50 in value as some of the lace undies are 9.50 by themselves & the more simple/cotton ones tend to be 7.50 and the ones that are all lace can go up to 12.50 a pair. You would only get money back if it was just a plain 9.50 off which it isn’t
I’ll be going to the store and getting the free pair but…I was wondering the same thing about the $9.50. No big deal but why would they charge the penny?
They are probably charging a penny to prevent people from registering multiple accounts. It’s one per person, so unless you have multiple credit cards registered to multiple addresses you won’t be able to request a bunch of free pairs if they have your credit card number from the 1 cent charge. Make sense?
I was thinking the same thing…I’m gonna try it though ’cause We don’t have an Aerie store anywhere around here! And $.01 for a pair of undies without having to leave the house sounds pretty sweet to me!!

I sure hope my favorite American Eagle/Aerie isn’t going the JCP route or my butt will have to look good in a different brand!
They do the same with their free bra coupons that you get when u buy 5 bras with their reward card. You always have to pay a penny. I think of it this way it costs me way more than a penny to drive the store.

I have been working on this for 5 hours and no text for me or for my boyfriend. I called Aerie and they had no idea what I was talking about and told me to send an email. Not everyone will get a text back. :/
Mine took about 4 hrs to arrive. But I am getting a note on my order form that says “The Aerie Free Undie- Clearance/ Factory included has been applied but the qualification rules have not been met. The promotion excludes Gift Cards.” All I put int he cart was a pair of undies.. any ideas?

no I used my hubby phone and just type the code in the discount code box and it worked. i went to aerie.com picked the panties I wanted for my wedding. Went through find no problems. I want to get some for my bridesmaid.. Just need that long number to work..

I dont believe so. when they send you the text message you must go thru the link they send you, you cant go to the actual aerie.com website. threfore, I believe it wouldnt work at American Eagle
I think you can as in the above text it says in store (343) – which is probably the code they need to enter into the register.
it says you can use it at an aerie store but i dont think it will work at an american eagle store, they won’t let you share coupons between the stores unless it specifically says you can use it at both. at least that has been my experience in the past.

I’m with Sprint, and just got a quick reply that either the shortcode may have expired, or it may be blocked on my account. Oh well, I’m not lacking for panties since I always seem to get coupons mailed to me from Victoria’s Secret.
Sounds like you may have had Sprint block unwanted “premium texting” at some point. I used to work for Verizon and a lot of people (especially with teens who see the commercials on mtv to text to chat, etc…) wanted premium texting blocked to avoid spam and unwanted charges but there are actually a lot of useful shortcodes for freebies. Generally if you log in to manage your account online you can unblock this at no cost, or just call customer service and they’ll help you out.

It’s a text message just like any other text message. If you already have unlimited texting you will not be charged any extra for these kinds of offers.

Their biggest size is XXL (roughly size 18). They don’t carry anything past 12 in the store – size 14-18 are online only. I’m a 16/18. I’m going to give an 18 a try since I’ve never ordered from them. It’s a real shame that their sizes don’t go larger. I’m sorry. 🙁
I think it’s because technically it’s a junior’s store.
They’re a juniors store,not a big women’s store. They probably don’t have the market in that size for that age group.
