against my better judgment I went ahead and ordered some of the bath towels…not expecting much but do hope they last a yr. before fraying.

I bought the bath towels last year at this sale…the first wash there was so much lint (i got dark brown) coming off of them in the washer i had such a mess. Even after washed they would leave me covered in lint after every shower. Luckily i had tried one before taking off all the tags so i returned the rest, might be good to do the same just in case.

If you get the white ones, you won’t have that problem. I also bought the towels when they had this coupon a year ago…the black ones were very linty, but it went away after a while. I never had that problem with the white ones. They all have held up really well. No fraying at all and I bleach the towels every time I wash them.

I stocked up on white, tan and blue ones last year and I think they have worn well. They are thicker than your average “cheap” towel. I also got some kitchen towels and they look brand new a year later. I think you’ll be happy with them.

The DG market stores have more appliances. Yes we was able to purchase Coffee pot, Mixer, electric can opener, and Microwave all was 50% off. This year the lamps and shades are not included or pictures

Great deals in store. I got 10 packs of hangers for .63, shoe box size plastic storage containers for .50, clothes pins for .50, a 28 piece set of rubbermaid easy find lids for 5.00, and a pack of wash clothes for 2.50. I’ve never shopped Dollar General before and I have to say I am impressed.

Does anyone know if the Swiffer stuff in store is included in the 50%? I want to visit the store but I don’t know how I will know what is/isn’t included–is it labeled?

yes swiffer is included. got some mop pad refills yesterday. a way to check and see what is and isn’t included is to add it to your cart on the webite, apply the code, and see if it works. that’s how i figured out my swiffer pads were included before i went to the store.
