I looked at this, but I can’t determine which items are included in the 100% cash back. It says writing instruments, but there are hundreds of pens – how do we know which ones are included, or are they all included, but you can only get $50 worth?

It would be nice if the website were a bit more explicit with say a small note next to an item that said “100% cash back”.

Guess I will be calling customer service…LOL!

I don’t understand this! If anyone could clarify what you can buy with this and how it works I’d appreciate it!

Confused just as the others!! This doesn’t make any sense, nothing is clear!! So is it any pens and binders up to $50 or just specific ones?! This doesn’t make sense!

This is very different than usual. Don’t they always provide a page of eligible items that we can see all in one place? I have no idea what is eligible!!

Just FYI , cannot combine 10$ off 50$ or such coupons with 100% rewards. I tried to do it with the dymo label maker, and it will only take one or the other( the 100% rewards has a coupon code of its own that is automatically added to a qualifying item)

https://biggestbook.com/dyn/rebates/content/smeadexpandingfiles_10gascard_offer.pdf mail in rebate for gas card. watch your rewards and if it dont show up, be prepared to resolve it. keep all emails n reciepts. i wish they would verify it a little bettter, if they mean ANY items in those categories, they should clearly say it. if anybody tests it let us know. i think imma try a bit later 🙂

OK, just got off the phone with customer service (spoke with Frank) who said that if you click on the generic tab (we chose “writing”) of the item that you are interested in the body of the email, it will take you to a dialogue box that shows all writing instruments, pens, pencils, erasers, Sharpies, etc. Once you click on the item you are interested in (again, we clicked on “pens”) those are the items that are eligible – which is basically everything.

What he was told is that it’s everything in the general categories listed, but you can only get a total of $50 back in rewards – that includes if you mix and match. So it’s NOT $50 of pens, $50 of binders, but the combination of items that equal a total of $50.

I am going to go to the store later and try it out if I can find the time. Frank said that he would pass our frustration and confusion along to management in hopes that they get some clarification put out.

Hope that clears up some of the confusion (although I am not so sure Office Depot isn’t still confused as well)

I just went to my local store in Longview, WA and purchased $50 worth of items for my school supply donation box. The manager informed me that so long as the item is categorized as those items listed on the coupon it will apply. I purchased #2 pencils, wooden rulers, and safety scissors to add to the school supply donation. The manager added the coupon code and said it would be seen on my account in about 6 weeks.
