  3. Rachel

Collin, you are the best! As lame as it may seem, your CVS post is one of my favorite parts of Saturday 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Aww so glad to hear it!

    • Heather

That’s not lame it’s one of my favs too :)-

  4. sarah

    Thanks Collin! You rock!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re most welcome!

  5. Ashley

I can’t seem to find the Sparkle coupon, any ideas why?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Darn! Looks like it’s disappeared 🙁

  6. I Love Shoes

Thanks Collin. I tried scanning the Pine Sol to receive credit for Ibotta about three weeks ago. It said wrong item. The description and size was correct. The only thing I can think of was the UPC changed over time. I now use the scanner above the upper right corner of each item. It will confirm if the offer matches.

    • Kristen

I learned that real quick with the tresemme..it had to be the EXACT same!! Maybe it wasn’t the same scent? It kinda frustrated me that I bought stuff expecting to get money back through ibotta but since it wasn’t the very exact same one, I couldn’t 🙁 hope that helps!!

    • rebecca S.

I’ve had that problem with other items even though it says any.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh darn! I would definitely try contacting the Ibotta customer service and mentioning this to them! 🙁

      • Kristy

I contacted them once when the UPC didn’t match the item shown…sometimes UPCs’ do change & They were very helpful & corrected the problem within hours!!

  7. valerie

Does anyone know if we can purchase Venus razors as part of the Gillette deal? Their technically still Gillette. Thanks in advance.

    • Kerry

Yes you def. can! It is an unadvertised deal, but Venus razors are included with the gillette deal!

    • Sandra

Last week the venus cartridge on clearance (75%) worked for the P&G deal

  8. Krystle

Yes Venus is listed as participating products . Does anyone know if this has to all be on 1 reciept? In the past the fine print was always pluralized. Thanks to any one who can help!

  9. Sara

The Angel Soft $0.25/1 coupon is gone.

    • Kristen

You could probably use the .45/1 coupon from the redplum awhile back! I got extras if needed! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Darn! Thanks for the update!

  10. Jeff Walker

Are the Mini’s involved with vitamins??

  11. Molly O.

I shared my tip on the Pine Sol, but I don’t see where the coupon is.

  12. Katie

Pinesol coupon is for 48 oz or larger.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Bummer! Thanks – updating now…

      • bee

I shared the tip n got 50 cents off of 2 28 ounce bottles or one 48 ounce n i have actually used the coupons too on 2 bottles

  13. Bety

I tried printing the Sparkle coupon last night but got stuck on the ‘coupons are printing’ page then when I tried to refresh it was gone. Anyone know if it’s gone for good?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I just tried to find it too and it looks like it’s no longer available. Hopefully it will return!

  14. Jorge

Hi to all! Anyone know if the NM Mini’s are part of the BOGO? Thanks Collin for all you do!

    • Seth

The nature made minis were BOGO for me this week. It could also be for the new week starting tomorrow but I’m not for sure.

    • Dianna

Do u have the $10/1 CVS coupon for the Minis?

  15. Jorge

Thanks, Seth. I will take advantage tonight!

  16. Tiffany

If anyone is able to try the Clean & clear deal early, please let us know if it work!

    • Brandi @ Savvy Student Shopper

It should work fine. The cheapest price at my store was $4.99 though, next cheapest being $6.49.

    • brandeeabbott

I went this afternoon and the cheapest my store had was $4.79 and they only had three. The next lowest price was $5.79. Yes, I received the $10 ECB with no problems.

      • Tiffany

Thank you! I was just worried about the wording on the coupon.

        • mel

I did it a little while ago, prices were $4.69 for me. I did go by the wording and used 3 different source coupons: 1 each from the links Collin provided and 1 peelie that was on the product. I combined it with the Listerine spend $10 deal.. so it worked out :
          $14.07 for 3 Clean & Clear + $6.49 Listerine 1L + $3.98/2 Reach Floss + .67 Brookside = $25.21 less $4.91 20% off – $3 C&C cpns – $1/1 Listerine – $1/2 Reach – $15 ECBs = .30
I paid $2.45 including tax. Sweet deal!

    • Heather C.

Just a heads up… The cheapest price for c & c products @ my cvs was 6.49. Was bummed the deal didn’t turn out to be as good as what I thought it’d be. Oh well though, ya win some, ya lose some! 🙂

      • tia

What state are you in? That’s a big diiference. Are you sure you checked the foaming cleanser and not the products that were pictured?

  17. gaynycdad

Those Barilla meals are almost $4 in the supermarket here in NYC, I am going to start printing coupons from all my computers, $1 for those quick pasta meals is amazing!
    thanks for this!
    http://www.gaynycdad.com

    • Bill

Good grief! I thought our prices in GA were bad 🙁

      • Mitch

That’s why I come here several times a day!

    • Sasha

Just back from CVS….you might be getting rainck on the Barilla.
All gone @ 8am in my store close by. Went to next one & they had 8.
At least they had the Sparkle-glad I printed the qs when I did.
RA had plenty of M&M’s for that deal-got 4 bags.

  18. phoneyx0@sbcglobal.net

The 7up,Canada dry,AW must be regional, went today because our store starts new sale at 4 and the AW was ringing up $5.33 and did not print the $4 rewards, the cashier brought out the new add for tomorrow and it was nowhere to be found:(

    • mel

it must be regional b/c I don’t see it in my ad either. I wanted to price ck but forgot b/c last week the Maxwell House pods wasn’t in my ad, yet they were tagged on the shelf for the ECB deal.

  19. Jeff Walker

Collin, are the Nature Made Mini’s still going to be BOGO?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I don’t see them mentioned but they might be? Does anyone else know if these are also on sale BOGO?

      • Jeff Walker

Thanks for all you do!!! I called my CVS n they said the clean n clear is 7.79 is the cheapest.. I don’t know about doing the deal now!!

        • tia

Yes, the product pictured is pricey but the foaming cleanser in the orange bottles should be $4.49 – $4.79 or so.

          • Jeff Walker

Peww.. thanks for telling!! I was not going to do this deal.

      • frugalfemme

Yes, the minis were BOGO as well. Got the last two in the store (B Complex) when I finally made it to the store about 5 p.m. They were all gone during my trip last week.

  20. Brittany

    Thanks Collin!

  21. Ronni

My regions ad has Spend $10 on any Listerine, Reach, or Rembrandt items = $5 Ecb….may be regional some may be spend $12.

    • Jeff Walker

      Thanks!

    • Janice Greene

Thank you!!! My hubby loves Pine Sol 🙂

  22. Nora

The Always PG coupon is expired, am i missing something?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Hi Nora!
The coupon in the 1/27 PG expires 2/28! 🙂

      • Kristen

My p&g didn’t have one…it was in a smartsource. Weird that a p&g would not only vary by region but just leave out a whole coupon

        • Brandi @ Savvy Student Shopper

What SS was it in, please?

          • Kristen

1/27..it was on a freds dollar store ad…

        • CW

and my Smart Source in South FL didn’t have it either! 🙁

  23. Jeff Walker

Is $1 a good price for stocking up on Pinsole?

    • Erin D.

I used to love Pinesol, but I found I can get a 2 Qt. bottle of Ammonia at Walmart for about $1 without coupons, so I switched. Its Lemon scent, bottle lasts longer than Pinesol and does the trick. HTH.

      • Sasha

PS has one of most offensive smells I’ve ever had the misfortune to run across—yuk!
        It lingers in a room…

  24. Chessie

Do cosmetics include nail polish? I have a $4 off when you spend $12 on any cosmetics coupon from the red machine, I am thinking about using it with the Sally Hansen nail stips deal.

    • aprril

      yes

  25. Debbie

On the Eucerin and Aquaphor, four adds up to $19.96 and you have to buy $20 to get your $10 EB, I was at CVS this week and trying to get my $10 on a $30 and I liked four cents having enough, so had to buy a 1.00 product to total it up to $30. They would probably make me do it again on that deal.

    • Amy

The $19.96 should trigger your EB. On deals like this you only have to spend a certain percentage ( I can’t remember if it’s 96% or 98% of the total) to get the EB. 🙂

    • Sally

      It is 98%.

      • MCouzens

I did not know about this & was wondering the same thing as Debbie. Thanks Amy & Sally for helping.

  26. Marie

Does anyone know if the pg rebate have to be all on one receipt?

    • Jennifer

I don’t believe it does but make sure you keep all of your receipts so you can submit them. Last time I did this deal, I shopped at several different stores to get to the $50 mark and it worked fine!

  27. Jodi Walker

i scanned my card today, and got a cvs coupon for $2 off of $8 facial care products. this will actually turn the C and C deal a MM. =)

    • Sheila

I got this same coupon tonight but mine had cvs brand facial care product

  28. Sheila

I received a 4/12 cosmetic coupon from the MCM tonight. Can this be paired up with the Clean and Clear deal. Is this considered cosmetics?

    • Tia

      No…it’s considered facial.

  29. Amber

ISO: $6 Advil mail in rebate. Happy to trade if you’re looking for something in particular. Thanks! amber.johnnson89 @ yahoo . com

  30. Heather v

I can’t find the pine sol in my CVS add anywhere.

I’m in north California… Anyone else not seeing it?

    • Kat

I’m in Maryland and I could not find it either. I prepped the cashier saying I may cancel this if it does not work… it worked 🙂

  31. Sasha

CSO is dishing out $1. Q’s on snack items this morning-used them on Barilla.

    • Dawn

      What is CSO?

      • mel

        must be the coupon center.

  32. Lauren

Hey Colin, not sure if anyone mentioned this but the clean and clear deal is for $10 extra rewards when you buy 3 and they aren’t on sale too. They ranged from $6.29-$7.99 at my store. Thanks for all you do.

    • Tia

Yes, it’s a great deal. Follow her comments on this and you get each bottle of C&C for $.16. Did the deal this morning, no problems!

      • Lauren

Absolutely it would be a fantastic deal. Maybe it’s a regional thjng but they were not on sale 3/$10 at the CVS I shop at.

        • Stacy

Read her breakdown again, i think you are not reading it right (I have to read it several times sometimes, it can get confusing) She didn’t say that they were 3/$10. She said they were buy 3 and get $10 ECB. She mentioned in her breakdown that if you found the $4.49 priced ones ( which many people who have commented above have not been able to find) you would score them for .16 cents each if you had 3 of the $1/1 MQ’s. Hope that helps.

  33. Karla Kelly-Marsh

The ALL Detergent is listed as LIMIT 2 in the ad so don’t think the Buy 4 deal and $5 Savings star will work this week~

    • mel

You can do 2 transactions b/c Savingstar will track for the “one or many” deals.

      • Jeff Walker

Taked to shift manger and she says you can get four in one Tran., because you are paying for two and two are free.

    • Joan

I bough the Oxy-Active Stainlifter, do you know if this will qualify for the Savingstar deal?

  34. Tia

C&C deal worked great. No beeps.

  35. Rachel

My P&G Insert no have coupon Always it’s regional

    • mel

it’s not in the P&G.. Its actually the 1/27 SS (smartsource).

      • Maria

        Thank you!

  36. Sandy

    My CVS run today:

    14.29 TENA men’s underwear
    7.99 Folger’s coffee
6.00 3 tubes Colgate Advanced Clean toothpaste
13.47 3 Clean and Clear foaming wash
    10.00 2 Sparkle paper towel 8-packs
    $51.75 Subtotal
    -$10/$50 CVS MCM coupon
    -$14.00 TENA MFQ
    -$4/$10 CVS facial cleanser coupon
-$2 off 2 CVS toothpaste coupon
    -$1.50 3 .50 Colgate MFQ
    -$1.00 CVS MCM Folger’s coupon
    -$2.00 2 $1.00 Sparkle coupons
    -$10.00 ECB, $5.00 ECB
TOTAL .25 plus tax with $10, $3 and $2 ECB back

    • Sandy

I meant $2.25 plus tax, not .25. Sorry.

    • Carol

I didn’t think you could combine a $10/$50 with a $4/$10, etc. Guess that has changed?

      • Sandy

You cannot combine like CVS coupons, i.e. $10 offof $50 and $4 off of $20 if you spend say $51.25 before coupons. You can combine $10 off of $50 with $$ off on a specific item, i.e. $4 off $10 facial cleaner, $2 off of 2 toothpaste. I’ve been going to CVS for 7 years now and it’s always been that way for me. You’ll hear a beep when the coupon scans if it isn’t supposed to be. The order in which you give the coupon does make a difference.

        • Joan

Ugg, Sandy – THANK YOU! I know I used to stack $ of $ purchase with $ off category but I have been seeing not everybody is able to do that now. i know I had a transaction rejected because of that a few months ago(” not sure this will go through, too many coupons”) thought my old age was getting the better of me!

          • Sandy

My pleasure. Walgreen’s computers will not accept more coupons than number of items when counting manufacturer coupons and Register Rewards. The in ad coupons and the Walgreen’s coupons from their coupon book don’t count in your tally. The ratio of coupons to number of items does not apply at CVS, unless the amount deducted from coupons is greater than your total amount, then you need to purchase enough to use any overage you have.

            • mel

All of the $$/$$ coupons now say in the fine print they cannot be combined with any other off your purchase, so you can’t stack a $4/20 purchase with a $2/10 facial care anymore (at least that is what I have been reading on another board)

            • Jeff Walker

So you can use two if you have the amount even if both are that or more in total?

            • Sandy

I had no idea! The cashier didn’t say a thing to me, and it was the Supervisor too. Well, now I know. Thanks!

            • Sandy

I just read the CVS coupon policy from their website and it states they will accept multiple $$ off coupons, if they apply. Here’s the link direct to their site.

              https://www.cvs.com/help/help_subtopic_details.jsp?subtopicName=Help with CVS/pharmacy Issues&topicid=200018

“CVS/pharmacy accepts multiple Dollar off Transaction coupons (e.g. $3 off $15) in one transaction if they apply
o Ex. Customer may use two 3 off $15 coupons if they are purchasing over $30.00”

  37. Fay Towne

not sure if this is a good deal or not — but I Bought 4 Pantene Expert Shampoo and Conditioner at $8.49 each, $33.96, used 2 BOGO Qs in todays paper up to $4.49 and 2 $3/2 Pantene Qs, paid $17.98, received $10 ecb for a total of $7.98 or $1.99 each.

    • Sandy

      You did great!

      • Jeff Walker

That’s great!! I’m doing my deal tomorrow.

        • Lisa

The Pantene is on sale starting Sunday….. Might make a better deal with the coupon auto deducting 4.99.

          • mel

you should have only used 1 $3/3 since you bought 4 the 2 bogo’s attach to 2 items then that leaves 1 $3/2 open for the other 2 bottles you’re paying for.

Oh, you’re right. I didn’t catch that. Thanks.

            • Fay Towne

Didn’t realize I could only use one $3/2 Pantene coupon with the 2 bogo coupons — oops – still learning

  38. Fay Towne

also did this deal — Bought Loreal Miracle Blur $19.99 + 2 Loreal ideal towlettes $4.99 each for a total of $29.97 — Coupon machine gave me CVS Q of $5.00 off Loreal Miracle Blur, used $3.00 Youthcode Q (it worked for miracle Blur) and 2 $1.00 Qs, paid $19.97 – recd 10 ecb = $9.97 total and will apply for the $10.00 rebate – everything free!!

    • Fay Towne

forgot to tell you I got the BB Age Perfect cream (which works with the rebate) $10.49 and Loreal eyeshadow single for $4.79 for a total of $15.28, used 2 $2.00 off face loreal coupons and $4.00 off $12 cosmetic coupon from the coupon machine, Paid $7.28, recd $5.00 ecb total $2.28.

      • Fay Towne

by the way, according to the rebate that I just read — they both must be done in the same transaction (the Loreal Miracle Blur $19.99 and the BB Age Perfect cream $10.49 for a total of $30.48) — luckily I did.

      • Sandy

        Nicely done.

    • Sandy

      Outstanding!

Did anyone have a problem using 2 of the $2/2 all coupons? My cashier wouldn’t even scan the second one because it did not say “limit 4 like coupons per transaction” I then read the fine print to him which still did not say one per transaction… He said he would try it this time but not next time… He scanned it and it did NOT beep… Went right thru but he’s claiming im wrong… Am I?

    • frugalfemme

I don’t think you’re wrong. I think he’s confused. Unless it states specifically that you are limited to a certain number, I think the default is unlimited not one.

  40. Heather

Question about the P&G rebate: It states on it that this offer is not to be combined with other offers. Does anyone know what that means? Thanks for any help!

    My CVS trip today-
    2 always liners $6
    1 newspaper $2
    Tena liners (to donate)
    Tena underwear (to donate)
    -$1.50 always manuf coupon
    -$7.00 tena coupon
    -$14 tena coupon
    -$9 CVS coupons ($2,$5,$2)
In the end, including tax, I owed them 1 cent!
PLUS I got 2 ECB back so I made $1.99.
    Not bad!

So I’m wondering if I’m missing something — all the scenarios about the All deal (including Collin’s) say to buy the All Mighty Pacs, but I read both the coupon and the Savings Star info and I can’t figure out why it wouldn’t work with the regular bottles of detergent. If I’m missing something, can someone let me know so I can return the four I bought and get the Pacs instead?

    My purchase:
Four All Free & Clear 33-load bottles at $7.79, BOGO
Used 2 $2/2 coupons, paid $11.58, and should get $5 back in my SS account, so $1.65 each

    • Joan

I have the same question, but I bouht the Oxy-Active Stainlifter bottles – didn’t look at the Savingstar details close enough while shopping!

      • mel

it might have to do with the price, depending on the store. At mine, the liquid is $7.49 = $14.98 and I’m short .02 for SS. but the pacs are $7.89, and if I buy 2, that is enough for SS.

        • Joan

My store was $7.99/bottle, so $7.99 x 2 = $15.98. so, I thought I was good even with the CVS BOGO, now I wonder if I picked the wrong type of All detergent to qualify.

    • Sandy

I looked at the SS offer and I think you’re fine. I wouldn’t worry about the examples with the pacs. I think those who posted the pacs in their example did so because it’s a good price for them.

      • Joan

Thanks Sandy, I think I may be over analyzing, but didn’t need to add bottle 7 & 8 to the stockpile @ $3/bottle ( love it for $0.50/ bottle!).

    • frugalfemme

Thanks everyone for letting me know I’m not alone in my confusion, lol. Even though I know prices vary from store to store, the liquid and the pacs are the same price at mine — I just figured that was the case for everyone. I can see the appeal of the drop-and-go pac, but I do laundry in loads ranging from extra-small to extra-large so I like having the option of using more or less detergent. If I read the Savings Star offer correctly, $15 of any type of All laundry detergent should qualify.

      • Joan

I wrote Savingstar and asked for clarification on what products qualify, here is there response:

Any of the All laundry detergent products should qualify for the offer. The offer itself does feature two particular types of All, but the whole All family of products is eligible.

Please let me know if I can answer any more questions.

        Thank You,

        Amy

  45. Van

    • Van

I got it in the mail after requesting it on their Facebook page awhile ago

  46. Kelly hardy

I want to learn this but sure can get confusing. Can someone break down the lingo here even the 2/1 is that 2.00 off one item or buy 2 and get 1.00 off?? Thanks Kelly

    • M

      Kelly,
2/1 can mean $2 off one item or 2 items for $1 depending on how it is written.
BOGO is buy one get one free and BOGO50% is buy one get one for 50%.

You might also want to check out the link for “Coupon Jargon” under the “Coupon Newbie” section at the bottom of this page for more terms and explanations.
