I’m a future mommy-to-be due in August 2013. I’d like to stock up early on wipes but will they dry out? Sorry, it’s our first so I’m clueless!!

    • Courtney

Hi Mallory! No, they will not dry up. I’ve had a stockpile of wipes for a year & have not had any issues with them drying out.

    • Michelle

They will be fine until then! Unopened, wipes last a long time!

    • CJ

Congratulations! Even an opened zip-top (like these will be) lasts a long time! We had an opened one left over from when my daughter potty trained 1.5 years ago — opened it up for our newborn, and they were as good as new!

    • Elizabeth

I had the same question. Thank you to everyone for the responses.

I am due in July 2013 and have probably stocked up on ~2500 wipes! I took the advice of other moms who knew that they would keep for a long time (plus in the meantime you can use them for makeup remover, etc.). Last time I did this same deal but had a $5 gift card so got them for $5.69. I will probably do it again this time, too! Keep in mind that this is a great price shipped right to your door, but that Target’s brand of baby wipes is usually less (when they go on sale) for the same amount. For example, right now the up & up™ Sensitive Skin Baby Wipes Refill Pack – 720 Count is priced at $13.69. Sometimes there are coupons on Target’s website that could bring this down by $1 or $1.50. I guess it just depends on your brand preference. In my opinion, anywhere from $10-$14 is a great price for 600-800 wipes!

If you have never used the Target brand wipes, I don’t recommend them in comparison to the Huggies by any means. I have tried them and had to use triple the number of wipes to clean my baby’s bottom after a dirty diaper as opposed to the Huggies. For example, a typical dirty can use 3-4 Huggies to get everywhere clean and the Up & Up wipes I used 12! It just wasn’t worth the money to me if I have to use more each time to make my baby’s bottom just as clean. 🙁

I agree with Amy. You will have to use more wipes to do the same job. “One and Done” by Huggies does live up to its claim.

Aldi stores sell their Lullabies brand of 72-count hypoallergenic and fragrance fee baby wipes for 99 cents. It’s a nice product.

    • Clarissa Douglas

Thanks Cheri I need wipes and Aldi’s is right down the road from me!

      • Cheri

You’re welcome, their brand of Wheat Thins sell for $1.29 and taste IDENTICAL to the brand name. Plus everything is double money back guarantee!

    • nicole

Agreed! They are all I use…can’t beat the price, and they’re great quality, too. Highly recommend! LOVE Aldi.

Had $15 in my gift card balance and snagged this for free! Thanks, Collin!

Amazon /mom membership is showing $79/year for me? Am I doing something wrong?

    • camille

Me too. I called customer service and was told if you have ever tried Amazon Mom before at all, it won’t let you try it again. I had tried it in late 2010 and so I wasn’t eligible.

      • Lisa

Good to know. Wonder if I can cancel and get my money back? I didn’t realize I was going to be charged. $79 is way too much and not worth it for me.
