We took advantage of this offer earlier this spring and this is a great deal. Nice quality and good value.

How do you make coffee in this?

Am wondering the same thing… The only way I know how to make coffee is with my BUNN. 😉

Look up videos for french press. You basically boil water on the stove, put coarse grinds in the press, add the hot water (not boiling), and let it brew for four minutes, then press the grinds to the bottom. I love coffee made this way but it’s slightly more work than regular coffee makers.

Thanks! My daughter and SIL have been wanting a french press. Will make a nice Easter gift along with a great bag of coffee.

Oh, and I’ve been using this particular press for a few months, and I love it. No problems so far, but I have taken some precautions like not using metal spoons to prevent cracking the glass. I admit that I have used fine coffee grounds in it with no problems.

Making coffee this way is very easy, it’s my favorite. Be aware when you are buying this that they are on crack when they say this is an 8 cup press – unless you think 4 oz of coffee is an adequate cup. I use this size and I’m lucky to get 3 regular 11 oz mugs out of it (the grinds absorb some water, so that takes off a few ounces). That said, great brand, just know this is not very big!

Did anyone else buy the purple bodum 8 ounce coffee mug a while back? I LOVE mine (it’s perfect for the keurig) and keep wishing I had bought at least another one. I can’t find them anywhere, not even eBay.

I saw a whole display of Bodum items at JCP. Maybe they have the 8 ounce coffee mug? They also had the coffee press for $20. In case anyone wanted to see it in person before buying.

I got mine at JCP when they had the buttons during the holiday ($20). I LOVED it until I broke it last Sunday. Handle it with care, especially when washing it… 🙁
