This is only a 275 watt mixer if you do any breads of anything heavy duty you might not want to invest in this one! My friend has one and when she makes a loaf of bread she literally has to wrap her arms around it because it jumps all over the counter.

    • macky48

Thanks for letting me know that, RoxAnna! That’s what I actually want a Kitchen Aid mixer for, so you just saved me from purchasing the wrong one! 🙂

    • Lynn

Do you know if the 5qt mixer (KitchenAid Artisan 5-qt. Stand Mixer ) handles bread dough?
      Thanks

      • Lynn

Sorry that question was for RoxAnna Foudray 🙂

        • Barbara

It is not so much about the qt size when using a kitchen aid to make bread. It is about the power or watts. I would not purchase a mixer with the intent on making bread with anything less than one with 325 watts.

      • Ashley

Lynn- I have the Artisan 5 qt- I bought it at Kohls on Black Friday (great deal too!). I have made bread with mine, it works wonderfully! I love my KitchenAid Mixer. I’ve also made icing and cakes, everything comes out perfectly mixed.

Do you know if the 5qt mixer (KitchenAid Artisan 5-qt. Stand Mixer ) handles bread dough?

      • Ana

I use mine for making bread all the time and never had a problem. I only do a reasonable amount at once though. I love it!

        • Ana

Sorry, I hit the wrong button to reply to. I don’t have the 5qt, but I do have the 4.5qt which like I said works well for me for making bread.

  2. Emily

omg I wish I had the money right now, I want one so bad! Oh well, I’m sure another deal will come along.

  3. shanshan

Kohl’s cash, rebate, and RR are the top 3 things I can’t follow through or remember to use in time. Too bad this deal has 2 of them.

    • Jackie

Kohl’s cash doesn’t expire. Even if it’s past the expiration date printed on the certificate, they still accept it. I’ve done this several times and I’ve never been questioned on it. Kohl’s is really good with returns too.

    • sara

i used my kohls cash like a month after it expired and they took it. 🙂

  4. Liz Kelly

I have never done this myself by someone told me that it is possible to use expired kohls cash as long as you go pay at customer service. I always make sure to use mine on time but a coworker told me that she never gets there until after its expired and they have never given her a problem.

    • Tilla Ham

i’ve been a kohls customer for years, and my husband and i both have a high limit credit card with them. I have had 2 kohls cash expire and they wouldn’t let me use either. I guess it depends on your luck!

    • Sue

It might depend on the store, as well. Ours in the Charleston, SC area does allow you to use expired KC. However, if you return an item from that order, you lose the KC on the return because it’s actually rung up as a percentage off and not as actual tender (does that make sense?).

    • Holly

I live in ohio and you are actually able to use any expired kohlrabi cash at a normal register. If your cashier says they can’t do it ask for the manager. They do it ever time for me with no problem. 🙂

  5. Liz

    I wouldnt buy a 4.5 quart….its just a glorified hand mixer.You cannot mix bread..only cake batter…which we can use a handmixer.

Huge caution on the rebate….. I got a KitchenAid shipped by Kohls a few months ago on the $500 mixer. It was a $50 rebate. The mixer came in a cardboard Kitchenaid box (not the typical box in the store – mixer held in cardboard box by styrofoam) and had a UPC code on the cardboard box exterior. Corporate Kitchenaid refused to honor that UPC code and it was the only one that came with the mixer. It was a one month battle with KitchenAid and Kohls and in the end Kohls had to credit my Kohls charge card with $50 because Kitchenaid would not honor the only UPC that was sent for the rebate. It was a major pain in the you know what and a nightmare. Multiple calls to Kohls, Kitchenaid, and two visits to a Kohl’s store (they couldnt help). Only because i kept copies of EVERYTHING (including copy weird cardboard UPC) did Kohls help me. I will never even consider doing this again. I suggest if you do this, get it at the store in a standard box.

    • shanshan

Usually a generic box (instead of a colorful retail box you would see in a store), even with logo and barcodes, indicate a refurbished/factory reconditioned model. Maybe Kohl’s was pulling a fast one on you!

  7. Steph u

I did the deal on Black Friday. (Ordered the larger mixer)

It came in a brown cardboard box- but inside there was the normal kitchen aid box, Luke you would get if you went to the store…. I had no issues myself receiving the $50 rebate.

Looks like every case is different.

  8. jbrenner88

I got a similar deal around thanksgiving and got my rebate no problem! Love my mixer

  9. Janet

My KitchenAid came with a subscription to ?Martha Stewart Living? perhaps? I declined the magazine in writing and got a check back for $12. Unexpected, but sweetened the Black Friday deal!

    • Misty

Hi Janet, I also did the deal and sent one set of rebate declining the subscription but did not get any refund. I got the $50 though. Can u plz guide me what to do to get the subscription denial refund. TIA.

    • Ashley

I got the rebate and the magazine refund as well! Black Friday was an amazing deal for the Artisan mixer.

  10. Christine

Does anyone know if you can do buy this in-store and get the same deal to save on the shipping surcharge?

    • T

I was wondering the same thing….

    • Liz

If you have the 30% or the 20% off kohls coupon either by home mailer or email with a scannable coupon then you can do this deal in the store…however u will not get the ebates /shopathome refund.

  11. Shannon

I price matched Target price right before Christmas and got a great deal on at 5ct mixer for my sister in law. I didn’t know they price matched other computers, but their policy states that their price matching excludes kohls.com pricing,

  12. Shannon

    Competitors- darn auto correct.

  13. Kara

Just a reminder with Kohl’s Cash, if you need to return an item, they deduct the amount of Kohl’s cash you received from the return, regardless of whether you used it. I learned this the hard way at Christmas. Got a $100 pair of boots for my sister as a gift for around $25 and they didn’t fit, when she went to return she only got 9 bucks back!

  14. Robin McIntosh

I am happy because I got a 5qt professional on closeout at a Carsons community days sale for 199….plus I have to send out the $30.00 rebate! 🙂 YAY!

    • Robin McIntosh

Sorry….meant to also say that this is an awesome deal, especially if you have the kohls card!

  15. Barbara

I returned an item which I used Khols cash for and they gave me a $10 gift card to cover the Khols cash amount I had spent. I thought the same as Kara that I would lose the benefit of the Khols cash. I had used my credit card for the purchase. Maybe that was why I got the gift card. If anyone knows the official rule on this topic I would love to know the answer. This question has come to mind often.
    Thanks

    • Trina

I don’t know the official rule either, but have received the $10 gift card multiple times when returning things (with the other part of the return to my kohls credit card). So, this does appear to be correct, at least under these circumstances.

    • Jessica

I also got a GC back. Thank goodness, because mine was an $80 dollar purchase that I made for a christmas gift for my family. (I did the dyson deal on black friday) The product ended up not working as we had hoped it would. I got all $80 back on a merchandise credit.

    • Amanda

According to Kohl’s website to price match you need to bring in the current ad. Anyone know if this item is in Tuesday morning’s ad? I don’t receive it in the mail, but it might be worth a trip to the store to grab an ad to make it work. It makes a great deal!

      • Picchu

Costco.com too has the 5.5 qt professional series 575 w motor on sale for 289.00 and there is additional $30 mail-in rebate!!! So it will be $259.00! Which wouldbe a great price but the only downside is that it has shipping and handling of $15.99! 🙁

      • andrea

I would like to do tuesday morning’s price match as well however, I’m not sure if they have ads

        • kimberly

Yep Tuesday Morning has it advertised in their most recent ad!

  16. Sasha

I got mine not this past Thanksgiving sale, but the one before-thanks to Collin!
LOVE my Kitchenaid-this is my second one. Most durable and most used appliance in the kitchen!

  17. MichiganMom

25 different colors to choose from! You won’t have that choice in-store! Love it!

  18. Suzanne H

Sold out – too bad was going to get 1 as a wedding gift.

  19. carol

    Out of stock

  20. Abby

    NO MORE AVAILABLE! 🙁

  21. Alicia

I just called my local store and it is on sale for $199!!! That makes it $89 after rebates and Kohl’s cash!

    • Lynn

Alicia please explain how it’s only $89 after rebates and K’s cash. Sorry I’m kinda new to this and can only see how to get $60 off so $139?
      Thanks

      • Alicia

Lynn- On sale for $199-30% using a Kohl’s Charge card ($59.7!)= $139.30+tax that you will pay. Then you receive $10 Kohl’s cash for every $50 you spend so you will get $20. $139.30-$20=$119.30. Mail in the $30 rebate which will bring it down to about $89.30. Make sense?

        • Lynn

Thanks so much. I forgot the 30% off 🙂

  22. Whitney

Where do you get the 30% in store coupons? I don’t think I’ve ever seen them?

    • steve

There is a special going on that gives you 30% off if you use your Kohl’s card until March 13.

  23. Pat

What are the specials on this mixer now? It is April 8th march deals are long gone

  24. Tala
