Okay, so I’m signed up for the *HOT* text alerts, and receive them from time to time. BUT, I’ve noticed that Collin will sometimes post a deal on H2S that says *HOT* in the title, but a lot of times I don’t get a text alert for it. Do all of the deals on H2S with *HOT* in the title have a text alert sent out about them and I’m just not getting them all, or are some of the deals with *HOT* in the title not sent out by text alert?

I am so glad that you signed up for the HOT Text alerts. 😀
Keep in mind that I actually have to personally tag a post as a HOT Text offer in order for it to send a text to your phone. The posts that I typically choose to tag this way are those that feature hot coupons that will not be available for long, freebies that won’t last long etc. Obviously, this can be a bit subjective so there are times when I tag a post as a HOT Offer and then it lasts for hours and hours. Or on the flip side, there are times when I think a sample or coupon will be available for a long time so I choose not to tag it as a HOT Offer and then it expires in 15 minutes. I do my best to determine which posts to tag as HOT Offers but I am not always perfect. 😉
Also, I do like to use the word *HOT* in a post title if I think something is a great deal but this does not necessarily mean that it will be sent out via text. Hope this helps to clarify things for you!
Thanks for responding and explaining how everything works- especially the part about sometimes you use the word *hot* on a deal even though it’s not sent out via text. I was worried I might have been missing out on some of the text alerts… my phone is notorious for having a mind of it’s own sometimes… 😉 I’m glad that’s not the case here!
And btw… I think you do a great job choosing the hottest deals to send out via text! 😉
