   You can get Popular Science magazine which I would love to get for my husband, but there is this white paper that you need to take along with Popular Science and requires one to fill out a whole bunch of information about a business we don’t have and there is no way to opt out of the white paper. You have to give way too much information and answer untruthfully to the white paper or you can’t get Popular Science.

   Okay…so I went back and filled out every question as “other” and it wouldn’t take my information because I was required to fill out my job occupation and my company name. Mother worked for the occupation and Family worked for the company. Guess there is always a way around it.

  For occupation just write employee
  For company write household

   Just a little warning:
   I sign up all the time for these free mags. Well, the other day I get this annoying letter from Redbook, saying thanks for automatically reordering my sub! I didn’t reorder ANYTHING! There was a phone call involved after that…

    Just an fyi, I did one of these through Mercury Magazines, and after that my spam email has been crazy, in 3 days i have gotten 48 spams. This was the only thing I had signed up for, so I am sure its them.

  ou got the free sub to the Science mag then. It takes you to the “bonus” section with the six magazines for $2.00 after it gives you confirmation that you received the free one. I didn’t notice the confirmation until I hit the back button to return to Hip2Save.

    got this mag in the past – did not renew and was never sent a bill.
    Signed up again and everything went thru. I LOVE getting these for my hubby. We never buy mags anymore since we can get so many neat ones for freeee!
