Books like this are always free. You can sort high to low cost and find hundreds of classics for free.

There are non classics that are free too! Hundreds and hundreds! For instance, go to the regular amazon site (not mobile), then click on kindle books. Then click on whatever type you want (children’s age 0-3 for example) on the right hand side is top 100 free! 🙂
There is no copyright remaining anything Twain published. Paying for a paper copy is OK (it costs something to produce), but it you ever pay for an e-book copy you’re getting suckered. Try http://www.gutenberg.org – The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, along with Huckleberry Finn and thousands of other books, are free there all the time
