I’ll second Samantha. I ordered something from Vitacost through Amazon. I never got it. I emailed them the day it was supposed to get to my house and they cancelled it that same day saying “it was out of stock.” Fine, but it took you 2 weeks to figure that out!?!?! Then, I emailed them my disappointment in that and they basically said “well, it’s better to order directly from us rather than thru amazon that way we can be for sure that we have it in stock” UM WHAT!? Why have the amazon store then? I never ordered again from them and tell everyone not to as well.
I would leave them a negative feedback and send an e-mail to amazon. I had something similar happen to me from a shoe seller on Amazon who didn’t even bother shipping the shoes after a week of my order and ignored my email but charged my card anyway. I ended up cancelling my order, emailing amazon about it and leaving them negative feedback. I love Amazon but they need to hold their 3 rd party sellers to better standards.
Oh believe me, I did.

I got their June Be Pretty box…I was so disgusted with it, I wanted to throw it all away. It was 100% garbage. They just threw a bunch of garbage in there. There were 21 samples total – ZERO full size products. Of those 21 samples, eLEVen OF THEM WERE INDIVIDUAL TEA BAGS. Yep, TEA BAGS – in a beauty box! And they weren’t even 11 different kinds of tea – I got 6 of one and 5 of another.
And then 4 pillow pack samples of KIDS edible toothpaste. Yuck.
So right off the bat, 75% of the box is useless.
There was a tiny shampoo packet sample (no conditioner??) and a tiny lotion packet sample that were obviously marketed for teens (glitter??).
So that’s 17 worthless items.
The remaining 4 items were a tiny tub of Burt’s Bees day cream, a tiny tub of some kind of moisturizer (and when I say tiny, I mean barely big enough to get my finger into), a tiny bottle of argan oil ( a few drops!) and some nasty looking ear candles – that were crushed and bent because they just threw them in with the rest of my order and they got fubar’d. I ordered 4 bottles of shampoo/conditioner along with this box, and they just threw them all into a huge box with no packing material.
They agreed to give me a refund for the $14 I paid for this funky box, tld me it may take up to 72 hours. That was 6 days ago, I have not seen any sign of my money yet. Plus, they would not publish my review of this June box, which was basically the same as what I just said here – it was not vulgar and it stayed on topic, so they have no excuse.
They seem like a pretty terrible company to me, I would not recommend them to anyone.
