UGH – hit “purchase” too soon … the Magic of Public Speaking is NO LONGER FREE!!! There is a note saying that Prime Members can “borrow for free”
If anyone else goes click-crazy like I did, I found this to get a refund:
1.Log into your Amazon.com account
2.Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Manage Your Kindle”
(you can also get there by clicking “Your Account” in the upper right hand corner and then scrolling down to Digital Content and clicking “Manage Your Kindle”)
3. A list of all the books available for your kindle should show up.
4. Find the book you accidentally bought, click the tab on that line that says “actions”
5. From the drop down menu select “Return Item”
6. This will give you another drop down to select why you want to return it. “Accidental Purchase” is one of the options.
I did this within 2 minutes of an accidental purchase and it was immediately taken out of my queue and returned.
