*Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation – funds efforts for breast cancer research, education, advocacy, health, ect.
*Autism Speaks – goal is to find the causes, treatments, and cure for autism and help those with autism and their families

…and more!

How Does it Work?

By signing up with Crowdtap, you’ll be presented with a variety of opportunities to complete and you’ll be helping brands make major marketing decisions as well as help spread the buzz about products you like! You’ll also be able to answer “Info questions” that will help them better match you with more opportunities. How do you earn points that can be converted into gift cards, t-shirts and more? You can earn points by earning top awards as a result of providing meaningful responses in discussions and participating in discussions daily.

1.) Just head on over here and sign up for a Crowdtap account with your Facebook account
2.) Answer a few polls (click on Quick Hits) to help brands target you by your interests
3.) View Opportunities and participate with the brands and offers that interest you
4.) Earn status, rewards, and charity – the more you do, the more you get, the more you give!

How do the Rewards Work?

You’ll be able to redeem your earnings in the following ways…

*Gift Cards – Your Crowdtap points can be redeemed for Amazon.com gift cards
*Help Charities – You can choose to help your selected charity
*Free Products – Some activities will also offer free products and other goodies

Also, the points you earn determine your “level” and each level you obtain gives you privileges on the site and showcases your accomplishment. However, keep in mind that points and dollars are completely separate in Crowdtap. Points will help you level up, unlock badges, and compete with your friends while moving up the leaderboard. Dollars translate to real money and can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards or donated to your selected charity. Individual actions can earn you points, dollars, or both but points and dollars are not directly related to one another.

Super excited I just got an email this afternoon saying I had been picked for this! I’ve been a crowd tap member for almost a year and I finally got picked for something!!

  2. MissLaughsLot (@MissLaughsLot)

I’m been a member for three months, and thus far have earned fifty dollars towards Amazon.com, I have accepted to host two parties, three sample and shares, and have won three top awards in group discussions. I love the site!

    • Alea

You earned 100,000 pts in 3 months??? What two parties? I only remember there being a DOT party thus far this year…

      • MissLaughsLot (@MissLaughsLot)

@ Alea: The Hotel Transylvania viewing party at the start of the year, the Dot party, the cottonelle sample, the post sample, and the Woolite samples. As well since Jan. According to the stats page it says I have 279,250 in points, three top awards, and am at 83 stars. I started on my birthday in Jan of this year. All are very easy, and I write discussions at night when everyone is asleep. Love the site.

        • Alea

HT was last year, I did that one. I know there has been quite a few sample & shares. Sounds like your acct hasn’t changed over yet? Mine has and all my stars, and points are gone. I’ve been a member for 3 years now and all that work GONE.

          • MissLaughsLot (@MissLaughsLot)

@Alea: No, ma’am I didn’t get the first party until after the new year; I’ve only been a member since January, as you can see from my profile: https://crowdtap.com/members/50eb0a2553fe418126000215/profile

I am sorry you have lost all of your points and levels, but I look at it as a means to try products and give reviews, because that’s what the site essentially is. It’s a blessing to be able to try things for free! With that said, I fill out surveys on other sites, and so far since the fall, I have amassed several amazon cards at a few other sites, and so Crowdtap can stay a fun experience, and not a negative space for me! The switching over to the new system sounds to be a pain, but I’m sure something good will come of it. As well, you’re a pro so you should be at a top level in no time flat. I guess we just have to keep tappin’. Have a great evening! 🙂

    • Bean

Wow. That’s awesome. I’ve been a member for 11 months and only have 90,000 pts, Tell me your tips. lol I do need 3 friends thou.

      • MissLaughsLot (@MissLaughsLot)

Quality discussion posts, hands down. A lot of people add photos and fluff, I prefer actual opinions and answering the initial questions asked; I generally get starred for at least half of my discussion topics.

  3. Stephanie

I’m not a member of Crowdtap 🙁 can I be someone’s friend they’d be willing to share this with? I’d be so grateful. My e mail is imajin421@aol.com

    • Jennifer Owen

      I send you one!

    • Bean

Here’s my link to be friends. Just got a new computer and can’t figure how to set up my email.lol

      Hope this link works: https://bit.ly/L4F8jv

  4. Sara N

I got picked for this a few days ago! 🙂

  5. Alea

    I hate all the changes.

  6. Kayla

I’ve been a member for a long time now and have yet to earn enough points to redeem for Amazon, nor have I been selected for anything worthwhile. Maybe it’s because I’m not willing to involve 5 friends to support a brand through some activity. Oh well.

  7. Tiff

I had this on my page when I checked today, I have been a member for about a month, but I log in everyday. I have about 13,000 points so far. I want those amazon rewards lol.

    • Alea

Is your account still the old Crowdtap? Mine converted to the new one, so my points are back at zero today.

      • Tiff

No, I just logged on to do some quick hits and mine is showing the same it was. I just joined a month ago though.

  8. Cindy

What’s up with Crowdtap? I was at level 9 and now I log in and it says I’m down to level 1…

    • Alea

The new changes apparently are now here – guess they put us all back down to level 1 – I was level 60 something – NOT happy about the changes or that we can’t earn gift cards anymore, we just earn entries into a drawing.

      • An

Are you losing your points as well? Seems unfair. I had almost enough for an Amazon card.

        • Alea

It starts you off at 100 pts for logging in each month. I would have thought they would converted the accounts to the new system so years or months of hard works doesn’t get thrown out – but I guess not. Crowdtap was so much better when I started, every change has been bad.

      • Cindy

Oh man, I didn’t even know they changed to a new format… I logged in and thought I was just getting an error. Well, that sucks. 🙁 Even more unfair for you since you got even further than I did. I rarely ever logged in unless I was notified that I had taps available via email. They should’ve at least warned everyone when the last day to claim points was and notify and remind before it’s too late. What a crap move!

        • An

Thanks ladies for the info. I will use my points right now because I got notice about 2 weeks ago that in less than a month Crowdtap will launch their new system. I had no idea though that members will be losing their points.

    • tanya

      used it. thanks!

  9. Faith

I do not have a cell phone and I am having a hard time verifying my account so I keep getting points but can’t redeem them. Does anyone have any ides?

  10. Jennifer

I wondered why I only had 100 pts. I had it set up thru my email and had some points. Oh well.

  11. Bean

I just went and cashed out my points for the gift cards –mine has not updated to the new system and didn’t want to lose all those points. Thanks for the heads up,

  12. Delilah

I’ve been a member for more than a year and I’ve never gotten chosen for anything.

  13. Neha

Why every page is taking me to an error page? So frustrating…

  14. Diya

I tried joining crowd tap but then it said my FB account does not meet the criteria as the ID I gave was my alternate FB account & I din wanna give my personal account. tats bad 🙁 Any1 have any suggestions?

    • MissLaughsLot (@MissLaughsLot)

Write crowd tap directly and ask them, they should be able to manually verify your account.

    • Debbie Considine

Diya, you have to have a certain number of US friends linked to your FB account in order to become a Crowdtap member. I believe that number is 25.

    • Bean

Yes i agree with Debbie, if u are creating a FB account just for this, then no they will not accept you. I tried too. But once I added my own FB account they accepted me right off. It is a site where you need to interact with your social networks –if you want to do samplings and host parties. I’ve been a member for 11 mos never hosted a party, but recently have done a few samplings. It took me awhile to understand what you were suppose to do.
      https://bit.ly/L4F8jv

    • Diya

Its jus been a few months in US so nt a lot of US contacts evn in my personal FB account so I guess no crowdtap for now 🙁

  15. Elise

I am going to be very angry if they don’t let me go back to the old version and spend my points. I had enough points to get the largest denomination of Amazon gift card, and have some left over. But due to a glitch in their system I was never able to purchase anything (not to mention that they where always sold out.) I’ve actually hosted a few of their parties, but I don’t like the new random chance prizes instead of gift cards.

  16. axhilli

I got an email saying, “congratulations you have been selected to the old navy sample and share does that mean I won the samples”? If so I’m so excited I never win anything I can’t wait to try and review the jeans.
