Zapiddy iPhone App: Answer Questions, Take Photos and Make Money (New Jobs Available Daily!)
Just a reminder to check out Zapiddy if you have an iPhone and/or iPad!
Zapiddy is a free iPhone app that pays you to answer questions & take photos while you shop in-store. To get started, head on over here to download Zapiddy for free from the iTunes App Store. Zapiddy currently works with iphone (3GS, 4, 4S and 5) and iPad generation 2 and newer running iOS 5.0 and newer. Note that in order to be eligible for location-based jobs, your phone must have its GPS enabled while you’re completing the job.
Once you’ve downloaded the Zapiddy app, you’ll be prompted to create your free user account. Then just click on the magnifying glass to see what jobs are available in your area. Keep in mind that job availability varies from day to day (weekends are typically the busiest!); the App can have jobs available in every state in the US. As an example, earlier this week, there were jobs available in 3,027 Walmart Supercenters and in 400+ Costco clubs. There was also a movie-review job that Zappers could complete anywhere—at home, at the office, or waiting for the kids to come out of school.
If you find an available job in your area, you may be asked to answer a few questions, check the price of a particular product, or take a photo of a product in a store.
Typically, you’ll earn from $2 to $10, depending on the complexity of the job (some Zappers have made more than $200 using this app!). Available jobs will change on a daily basis, so you’ll want to check in often to see what opportunities are in your area. Once you complete a job, your submission may go through a brief approval process and then once your work is approved, they’ll pay you via PayPal.
Note: Zapiddy will be activating accounts on a first-come, first-served basis depending on the number of jobs available in a given area. The sooner you create an account, the sooner you’ll have access to the jobs near you.
Do you currently use Zapiddy?! If so, share your experience with us in the comments below!
Also check out Ibotta! A new app that pays you cash for buying your favorite products. https://ibotta.com/r/HjKag
I’ve just signed up for the app and am going to “audit” a Costco today. I’m hoping it will go well.
I also signed up for Field Agent. Does anyone have any tips or tricks for that one?
I attempted field agent and gave up on it….though it looks like the payouts are good I could never find the specific product they were asking for, the barcode numbers were always off by just one or two digits. Not worth searching forever in the off chance I could find the very very specific product they wanted.
Field Agent was nice – especially if you were doing a display audit where you just take a pic of a display. Too bad it only works on the iphone
What is “Field Agent”?
I just did a few jobs at Target this last weekend. I haven’t gotten paid yet so we’ll see how that goes. I have to say it was VERY difficult to get the app to work inside the Target store. It kept telling me I wasn’t at the location until I went to the front of the store OR once I got outside. Maybe they’re still working out the kinks? You can’t use Target’s wifi otherwise there seemed to be no chance of getting it to work and it actually didn’t recognize jobs in the area while on their wifi network.
I did the sampling jobs at Target too. I haven’t gotten paid yet either. Hopefully we will see soon!
I did my jobs on the 11th and it took until the 15th for them to post the money to paypal. I think it just must take them a little longer. I have been spoiled by Ibotta and other apps that have it done in an hour. I bet you will be paid soon.
Similar problems with Kroger shifts. One went fine, the other refused to acknowledge that I was in the store no matter where I tried to check in or how many times I refreshed. Also, still not paid yet for the Kroger one that worked.
Then this morning, there were several Walmart jobs available, chose two for my jobs, then when I checked in about an hour later, all jobs were gone including the ones that were in My Jobs.
So, so far, a bit more frustrating than EasyShift (only similar app I’ve used)
I signed up last week for zapiddy. I chose 2 jobs at Kroger since I was going there that evening to shop. It took about an extra 5 minutes to complete the jobs. I received $8 for 2 jobs. Not a bad deal at all since I was already there to shop. It does take a couple days for them to approve the job, then they deposited in my Paypal. So easy!
It said that everytime I complete a job it will donate what I earn to charity. I already donate to charities and do not wish to using this app -is there any way I can just earn money and not donate? DId anyone else come across this?
No you can have them pay you.
how ? When I signed up it made me select a charity and said that my earnings will be donated to that charity.
The charity wasnt a required field. I opted not to put anything and my account went through just fine. I’m guessing there is a way you can change this option under a “my account” option.
Per their website: Make money for yourself and for a great cause. Each time you complete a job, you can raise money for your local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
I just registered and it said no jobs in my area and I changed it to include Chicago and it still said no jobs in my area. Did I do something wrong?
Just have to keep trying, they come and go.
doesnt work on iPad2 they say it doesnt have GPS
Has anyone actually got paid yet?
I have done 3 jobs and got paid for 2 so far, it took about 5 days, not counting the weekend to get the money in my papypal.
Is there anything like this for android?
None in my area 🙁
it wont even take my email address!!
Help! Our paypal acct is under my husband’s email address. When I log in, am I supposed to using the paypal acct or my email address? It is not letting me log in.
Register with the email address linked to your PayPal account. And log-in with that address, as well. If you have challenges, you can always email support@zapiddy.com
Happy Zapping!
When I first read it, I thought the charity was in addition to the paypal deposit. Can anyone confirm that they chose the “charity” option and also got paid themselves?
Per their wesite: Make money for yourself and for a great cause. Each time you complete a job, you can raise money for your local Children’s Miracle Network hospital.
I chose the charity and I also got money in my paypal.
I am downloading the app as we speak… I love trying new apps and even better I LOVE making money doing what I love, and that’s SHOP :0)
Thank you Collin… For all you do for our couponing community! I used your refferal link too..
No refferal link… I was thinking of your other post when I typed that part
Sad face…. The only jobs in my area are for Costco… I don’t have a membership there!!
It says in the description you do not need to be a member to do the job.
Another good way of making money while shopping/browsing stores https://get.shopkick.com/star11550
Downloaded this app about a week ago. There were 4 jobs for a grocery store that’s 40 minutes away. Not worth the gas. It seems they rarely update with new jobs. Not really worth using up the memory on your phone, IMO.
Just signed up ALL the jobs were for Costco nothing more. SoCal
Same here in SoFl
It says in the description you don’t have to be a Costco member.
Thanks for helping clarify. Working to add new jobs all the time. Keep checking Zapiddy.
Watch your Zapiddy screen on Saturday for SoCal jobs at Ralphs!
Eric-I went to Ralphs yesterday and attempted a job twice (once in afternoon and again in the evening) and it refused to accept my submission. Kept telling me to try store’s wi fi but there was none.
That error tends to happen when the phone can’t get a data feed–3G or WiFi. (I don’t recommend relying on store wifi.) And cell coverage sometimes suffers inside stores. Worst case, I usually hit submit from the store parking lot and it goes thru. I hope that helps.
I just did a Costco shop, it was really easy!
I run off of solely wifi and apps for text and calls. Am I able to do the job at the store (GPS still works without cell service) and submit/upload it once I’m back on wifi?
Because it’s unlikely that you’ll have wifi coverage in the stores, you will probably have trouble making Zapiddy work without cell coverage. Zapiddy won’t store the job data and wait until you find a hot spot or until you get home to upload your answers. If you find otherwise, please let us know! Thanks for asking.
