It does not work. I was told the coupon had alrady been used
I went to Toys R us to get the train and they told me the coupon was used. It was not ! Went from my printer to the store. Would not give me the train. So I wasted time and gas.

I didnt get one either. Thats too bad. My son recently got into trains, I am debating purchasing the whole table but it takes up so much room and I have seen any deal on it. Do you guys recomment the wooden or plastic train track sets?

The wooden train tracks are great! We have a train table and I’m actually debating getting rid of it. It’s nice, and has storage for tracks, but it doesn’t seem big enough to build the elaborate setups my son and husband build. More often than not the train tracks are on the floor and the table had become just another surface to clutter.
I got my daughter a wooden start train set on clearance at Target a couple years ago for $20. It came with track, a bridge, wooden trees, wooden people, a few buildings and a few vehicles. We ended up mounting the track to a large piece of wood (sanded and painted) that slides under the couch. We keep the rest of the pieces in a bin in the closet. As a side note, this free Chuggington coupon was on my daughter birthday post card, in addition to the $3/$3 purchase so make sure you sign up for their birthday club too.
We prefer the motorized train tracks b/c my little guy prefers the motorized engines versus the wooden ones that you have to push yourself.

I am signed up for toysrus emails but didn’t receive this coupon, is it by location?
I believe it depends on if you are a rewards customer also if you own a credit card there as well. If you a rewards customer, it may be based on how many points you have/how often you shop there. I work at HQ, but not entirely sure.

I dont think its unfair. Its a promotional thing.It could be by area or maybe theyve bought something in the past that flags it. Not everyone can get one. For those who got one, good for you!

I did receive one in my email time stamped at 12:01 pm (Today – Thursday). Also in the email was a link for another coupon for 25% off of another Chuggington diecast or wooden train or set. the coupon is a single use coupon so unfortunately I can’t share it but check your spam in case it went there instead! (Btw I live in Pittsburgh PA)
I got it at 11:01 this morning! I have purchased wooden trains from TRU before, so maybe that’s why I received it and others didn’t?

Both my kids are in the bday club but I’ve never even gotten a coupon. All I get is the phone call.
I didn’t get one today but March 2012 I got one! My son picked out a green one named Dunbar and the quality is amazing! Very sturdy trains and works well with the Melissa and doug train tracks!

Yes I received this email and I was so glad for my son. We had also received a voucher for a free chuggington on his birthday last July. We have a rewards card, we are signed up for the birthday club and we have purchased some train related things there in the past. We do not have a credit card with toysrus or its affiliates. I am not sure what factors qualify a customer to receive these but maybe one of these made a difference. Who knows.
