  4. Audra

There is no way I could take a 2 minute shower! It takes at least 8 to rinse the shampoo and condition out of my hair.

    • Jenny

      Yep!

    • Amanda

Yeah, and the days I shave add another 5-10 minutes!

  5. Elyse

    Thanks!

  6. Barb

    thanks collin.

  7. fuzzymitten

    Thanks, Collin.

I filled it out but there was no confirmation???

    • amy

      i didnt get conformation either….

  9. D

    Slow loading for me. :/

  10. leslie

On the days that i don’t wash my hair, it only takes me 5-8 minutes to shower. I don’t know about this 2 minute deal.

    • Renee

I agree! God has blessed this country with water (that we pay for) and I’ll take a 30 minute shower if I want to.

      • em2013

Wow…. it’s people with that kind of attitude that have the earth in the shape it is in. Just as we are blessed to have water, it can easily be taken away from us.

        • Guest

But it isn’t taken away from us. So…. yeah. Instead of 2 I’ll stick with my 22!

        • meg

          Lol!!!!

      • mariel

50% of all the known radium in the world is stored in the watershed of 20% of the world’s fresh water ( the great lakes). Enjoy the water while you can!

      • steph

Renee, It’s about preserving water so our children and their children can have clean water. Oh, never mind. You don’t get it.

        • noob

Haha nice one!!!! I totally agree!! Some people are just so ignorant!!

          • Melinda

RIGHT! Just because someone thinks, “Oh, I have tons of water to waste,” doesn’t mean their grandchildren will have the same luxury in 30 years. ^^^Ignorance…exactly the problem.

      • Mary

Really? Got a conscience? Guess not. I hope to leave a decent planet Earth to future generations.

        • Suzanne

I am with you Mary! Seriously, it seems there is a lot of ignorance out there…

          • Jenny

30 minute showers! Really! WOW! Hate to see your water bill. Waste much?

            • Em

As a Ranch owner who is directly effected by the extreme drought our country is going thru, this comment literally made me cry. Water is so precious. Until desalination is in mass effect we should all worry about our most precious resource. The drought has caused your food bill to go up as well, it effects everyone. Do we really want to live like Africans, who have to walk MILES to get to a dirty, disgusting well? That’s the way we are headed.

            • Em

Also, you make Christians look bad.

      • Renee

Sorry I didn’t get back with all you ladies- I was in the shower! Ha! LOL!!

        • Tat

Wow. Just because I have rain barrels doesn’t mean I can force you to do the same. Just because I comcost doesn’t mean I can force you to do the same. Just because I also recycle, hang laundry outside, rescue animals, donate instead of trash, etc doesn’t mean I can force my beliefs upon others. It would be great if we could all reduce our landfill needs, go green, preserve natural resources for the future. Just me …

  11. monicab2008

Is there a confirmation? I don’t know if I got it.
    Thanks, Collin. 😀

    • Donna

I didn’t get a confirmation either, but at the bottom of the page after I hit “send” it said “Your message was sent successfully. Thanks.” Hope that means I got it:)

      • monicab2008

Oh man! I haven’t even gotten that!

    • fran

After you click submit, scroll to top of page and you will see that you got it.

  12. angela

I would request this but I know it’s impossible to take a 2 minute shower! A quick shower for me is 10 minutes and then I don’t feel super clean. Haha.

  13. Anonymous

    They have a confirmation now:

    “THANK YOU!

A 2-Minute timer is on its way to you as we speak. Now there’s no excuse when it comes to taking a shorter shower”

    I sent a request like 309582034 times… I hope I don’t get that many in the mail 😮

    • Fawn

So did I, but I finally got the message 🙂 Hope they don’t have to send out an “I’m sorry, but due to an overwhelming response we are unable to fulfill your request” email……

  14. Jo Miller

This is a great idea. I usally get lost in my thoughts or how good the shower feels too get out quickly. this would really help me…

    • Adrianne

      me too!

  15. jill

    thankx!

  16. sne3103

Guys, its not a 2 minute shower! Its just a shower where the water runs only for 2 minutes in all… If you look at that pink hourglass thingy before the form, it tells you to turn off the timer everytime the water is turned off ( like when you apply conditioner etc)..

    • Jenny

I have a shower head that allows you to stop water flow and turn it back on again. That way there is less of a drop in temp.

    • Amanda

OMG, I can’t imagine taking a shower where I turn off the water before I’m done. I know they have to do this in some countries but we don’t in ours. I would get so cold! As it is when I shower, I am constantly turning the water hotter until I get to the hottest setting. And then I FREEZE toweling off! I miss having a heat lamp in my bathroom and need to see how much it would cost to install one!

  17. Jackie

Thank You. Got it. The web page was slow but I got it. This will be GREAT for my kids

  18. Kristy

    Got one..thank you!!

  19. Em

Silly gooses- it’s not a 2 minute shower, it’s 2 minutes of the water being on. Get in- wet yourself and then turn off the water and shampoo and soap up yourself. Then turn the water back on and rinse off. Easy peezy. Your water bill and the Earth will thank you!

I no poo my hair (look it up- it’s awesome) and I use about a minute and a half of water per shower!

  20. FuzzyPeach73

Does anyone know what the timer will look like? It would be cute if it was a duck timer…I’m kinda hoping it’s not just a waterproof hourglass.

  21. Allison

I so need this for my kids! They love to take long showers and maybe this will help them watch there time! I am excited about this freebie … LOL 🙂

  22. Katrina

Would make a great tooth brushing timer

    • rcfcoupon

I was thinking the same thing!

    • Joanna

That’s what I was going to use it for. And probably pictionary haha.

We have a tankless so we are completely spoiled and need to learn to take shorter showers.

  23. Allison

    Got it! Thanks!

  24. Rosana

    Thanks I got one

  25. Nicole

    Got it. Thanks!!

  26. Nic

Got it! Thanks for letting us know.

And I agree about it being great for brushing teeth.

  27. Betsy

Thanks! This is how we try to shower and it will help our kids keep the rinsing to a minimum.

  28. ashley m

Everytime I click on the link my browser shuts down 🙁

    • cathy

      Thank you

  30. Mommyof1

For those who can’t take 2 minute showers- this is what I do since our water here is expensive! I wash/rinse and then condition/rinse.. soap up my cloth/sponge – then SHUT OFF the water! It’s warm/steamy already and a few minutes without water does not make me freeze – after lathering up/shaving (too much info! lol) I simply turn the water back on to rinse. It might sound silly, but it really works to save water/money and it’s not a big deal to go a few moments without water.

  31. Elizabeth

Thanks! Even if I don’t manage to take 2 minute showers, it will work out well for time outs for my child! 🙂

  32. Alyssa

Yay! Thank you Collin! My sons therapist has been asking us to get him a timer to help him transition from one activity the next more smoothly. Learning stores are too pricey. $15 a piece for timers. This is such a blessing!

  33. Claudia

When I first signed up for the 2 minute timer it had said that the 2 minute timer was on its way as we speak. Today I received an e-mail saying they ran out before I signed up. Bummer. It would’ve been nice to have, especially if it was the little ducky in the picture.
