How do you know? It told me thank you and the first 5000 will receive a sample. But it didn’t say I actually got it.

I don’t know about everyone else, but I am becoming increasingly annoyed with companies that don’t use a counter to tell you if you are one of the “XX number” of respondents. Other webpages/websites do so I know that it is available.

Instead, they get my information and then bombard me email box with their emails and other companies that they have sold me information to in the meantime. I know that I can opt out, but that doesn’t always for the first, second, third or even fourth try.

I do understand that companies want my information for marketing etc., and I am much more likely to be irritated if I actually get the product/sample.

I apologize for the rant, but this has been dancing on my nerves or sometime now and I just needed a brief moment on the soapbox to vent.

    Thanks!

Linda, couldn’t agree with you more! I get tired of giving out my email and marketing information for the promise of something in return and then the company comes back with a reply that the product is no longer available only after I have submitted my information. I also think it is wrong for the companies to do this and the ones that that do this will not get my business! I love the freebies a lot of companies offer, but if I am giving them my valuable marketing information, I expect something in return. Just sayin….
