I’m wondering if you try to buy it in store if it will really be $19.99. The small print reads “Prices advertised on this site are for online orders only. Prices on some items may differ from those advertised in Radio Shack stores.” Seems to me like it might be an online only deal. Good idea to call the store and check on availability and price before you spend the gas money!

Have them scan it! When I called my store, the guy automatically said that it was $79. I asked him to scan it, and sure enough, it was on sale for $19.97! I went in a while ago and picked it up! Whoo!
My husband got one at the mall by his work! There weren’t any around where we live! There was one left at the store and it was $19.99!

I just got back fm Best Buy they said they don’t price match clearance items and they called Radio Shack and the said yes they are on clearance. Bummer for me did not get one.

Online it said my local store had it too, when I called they had sold the last one this morning and said it takes a while for the system to update. The guy I talked to checked the computer for other local Radio Shacks to see if they had it in stock and a store about 30 minutes away has it and is sending it to my store for no charge. They said it should be here in about 3 days 🙂

They are the display models.
Fortunately they all are not display models. The one I purchased is still factory sealed with the shrink wrap.
Radio Shacks are normally very small and don’t have a lot of storage space. This is why there is only one.
Yes, I called 12 stores the most any of them had at one is 3 most had only one in Indiana

I believe it was a print out after purchasing something at the store.
This would make an awesome dontation for a school, teacher gift, or for your church to loan people that are in the hospital. For $10, you can’t beat that.

I just called my local store and grabbed the last one they had. When I got there he informed me they had the one with “Glowlight” marked down to $29.97, so I snagged one of those as well.

They wouldn’t do it when I called bestbuy. Even though the local stores said that they had one in stock online, the best buy rep called them and the stores told them they were sold out. Dang. Just got one at my local radio shack for $19.97 plus I bought a battery charger and spent $33 with tax, they gave me a coupon for $10 off of $10 on my next purchase for spending $30. Sweet deal! Thanks Collin.
FYI…the travel battery charger that I bought was not for the nook, it was a clearance item that I found and not at all required to get the nook at the $19.97 price.

Really, then I’m going to rethink this deal. They sell this exact same item on Amazon but If you have to only deal with B&N for the books that isn’t so cool.
Libraries use the format as well, so even if they go belly up you’ll be okay until someone else buys the tech.

all i can say is OMG this is the deal i been waiting for all my life.—- THANK U so much collin. i got one for 21 something with tax—- it doesnt come with the wall charger only computer usb charger.—- and it has wifi but dont know if i can check my email from it or not.
If you have a 5Below near you, they have the wall charger that’s also a USB. It comes in two places – so you plug the USB part into the wall charger and then plug it in. I have them for my cell phone and they also have the same type of usb end piece for car chargers. They’re $5 but I’ve been happy with them!
