I’ve been a member of House Party for a few years and have hosted several parties, but I wanted to share my latest party. It is for Gevalia. I, as well as my friends, are so excited about this party, but I was a bit taken aback with all of the goodies that I received as giveaways for the party. The kit includes 13 stainless steel travel mugs, 13 coffee scoops, 13 of 3 different types of coupons as well as a bag of coffee for me and 2 coupons for a free bag of coffee. I know there are readers who are unsure about House Party, but they always deliver and in my opinion, just offer a reason to entertain, which I love to do. I mean, a real reason to party! I love the House Parties!! I have participated in a House party for Huggies pull-ups twice (which was perfect because I had toddler aged kids both times!!) and now Im hosting a Soy Vay party soon!! So excited and LOVE House Parties!! For those of you who have tried but not succeeded in winning a party…be patient you will!! Keep trying! …and yes, they are very generous in gifts for the host and guests! My friends love when I invite them to a House Party!!
Kat and Amy- So happy for you! Can you tell us a bit about how you got selected? I have applied numerous times and tried SUPER hard for this one (uploaded video, started conversation, viewed the video and commented, etc.)- and still a no selection e-mail 🙁 What am I doing wrong?
Laura, I don’t think you’re doing anything wrong. It might have something to do with location. Honestly, I’ve just applied, answered the questions and waited. Just keep trying. It’ll happen. 🙂
I finally just got another…the nerf super soaker party which will be great for the kids this summer. I live in Hawaii now and have had NO luck in getting one but I changed my location for it since I am going to be in a different area during that month so maybe that helped. When I was in SoCal I got 3! Although that was before the new President came in and the board switched things around on how you apply (they really wanted video pleas). Anyway. I am so excited to get another and hope to continue but I think it is becoming more and more popular and really vary on the location. Another thing to consider is if you do get selected you only have 30 minutes to build your info and invite your 10 people. I started and was on my phone and of course the power died. I had to run home to finish in time. Keep trying for them!!
