I’m thinking of buying some of the super soakers. Do you get the $10 gift card if your total is $40 before coupons? Or does it have to be $40 after coupons?

I think it should work together- At Xmas I used a free $10 gift card off $75 purchase and stacked with manuf coupons that took the total below $75, and they didn’t give me any trouble at all. Just be sure to hand them the $10 gift card coupon prior to the manuf coupons and you should be fine!

The TRU coupons says “excludes super soakers.” I don’t think using the store/mfg together will work. Bummer. :/

I bought $50 worth of Legos and used a spend $50 get $10 off. I was delighted when they also gave me a $10 gift card for spending more than $40 on Legos. I have never seen promos stack at ToysRUS before.

They have a $10 gift card wyb $40 worth of Legos in the weekly ad. With this coupon, would you get two $10 gift cards?

    • Shayla

I don’t see why not as long as your total is over $40 for the coupon to trigger the gc for the coupon =)

I just took my boys who have been saving birthday gift cards since October, waiting patiently for a good deal on Legos. We bought just over $50 worth of Legos, used a $10 off a $50 purchase coupon, then the $10 gift card when you buy $40 coupon mentioned above. The cashier looked shocked when the register prompted her to give us a $20 giftcard ($10 for purchasing $40 of legos and $10 from the coupon)! I wasn’t expecting all 3 to work together so well, but figured I’d try and hope for the best. And the best happened! An as an added bonus, my 7 year old twins learned a valuble lesson in smart shopping!

I had such a hard time with TRU recently. I had the $10/$50 purchase coupon and before I even went to a cashier I asked CS if I could combine this with my rewards coupon that I had just received in the mail. I got the “yes” response, went up to the register, only to have be told it has to be either/or, as my total AFTER rewards $ had to be above $50 to use the $10 off coupon. Seriously, this is a new one for me =( on a side note, I have used coupons like these before where you get gift card and as long as your total is above $40 AFTER store coupons (not manufacturer), they should honor it (and hopefully this is my plan with the $10/$50 again that kicks in on the 12th). We shall see…

does any one see video games as an exclusion?

When you get the $10 gift card can you turn around and give it to them for the current purchase?

    • Cynthia

No, you have to wait 6 hoursfor the gc to activate.
