UPDATE: To qualify for the Starbucks promotion, each member needs to sign in to their Nextdoor account and either follow this link (https://nextdoor.com/refer) or click on the black banner at the top of their Nextdoor website. After reaching this page, there is a referral link (in Step 2) that is unique to each member: https://nextdoor.com/starbucks/?r=XXXXXX (in this format). When someone follows a referral link and starts a new Nextdoor website, they have 21 days to launch their website with 10 verified members, at which time they’ll send the $50 Starbucks cards.

* You can either send them a referral email through your Nextdoor account or you can share your unique referral link on Facebook or Twitter (or leave it in the comments below!).

    I live in an apartment building at college so I can’t verify my account 🙁 I tried to do the phone number, but my phone number is linked to my real home’s address so it says I can only verify by postcard so I have to wait a few days. Bummer, but heads up for anyone who lives away from home.

        they recently changed our address and it will not let me verify; The mail doesn’t run to my physical address… go figure living in West Virginia… and then the 911 center just updated addresses so I go to a post office a mile or so away for package delivery etc. ah well.
