Thanks, Colin! I can’t believe I’m already thinking about school supplies! :/

  2. Heather

This will be GREAT when they have the battery deals or the free school supplies after rebate!

  3. Rebe

Thank you Collin! I had a $22 credit for a returned deal from a loooong time ago and I didnt want to simply “spend” it, now I have use it to save, thanks again! 🙂

    • Jes

You can get your money back from Groupon. I had to search for their return policy, but couldn’t find anything that said that you had to take Groupon Bucks. I had bought a deal and the company refused to except the Groupon. At first they gave me the Bucks, but after emailing a second person, I got my cash back.

If this can be paired with other Staples coupons, do you think this sort of deal would work?
    1 photo paper @ 14.99 ($11.99 after coupon)
$25.01 in misc. other purchases (probably paper towels/toilet paper- will wait for a good sale)
    = $40, use Groupon

Submit for $11.99 EZ rebate on photo paper (staples.com coupon)

Pay $25 for Groupon, get $11.99 back in EZ rebate, so total of $40 for $13.01?

Does that work? If I held the groupon and used it only for EZ rebate stuff, would it essentially be a huge MM deal?

    • Ashley57

That is what I was thinking of doing. Holding it for Back to School rebates

A follow up question…can the e-gift card be used in multiple transactions or must it be used all at once? Can’t find the answer online…

    • Tracy

If you read the terms and conditions, it says the receipt will show the balance which seems to indicate you can use it on multiple transactions.

      • jackie

I did see that…and it did imply that you could use it in more than one tx, was just looking for 2nd opinions 🙂

        • Alycia E

I think she was giving you the 2nd opinion you were looking for.

  6. Mandy

Can you use a gift card to buy something and then turn around and get an easy rebate check back for it?

    • Miriam

yes. You’ll always get your money back with easy rebates.
I’m wondering if staples will give you rewards if you pay with a gidt card. I don’t want to call the rewards department to ask because the only tine I did, I was given the wrong answer.

    • Tracy

maybe you can help me–I am trying to post my referral link to my fb page and I can’t figure out how. Can you help me? Thanks

      • Mrs W

Hello Tracy! Just go to the very bottom of the page in fine print one of the options is “Groupon Referral Widget” click on that and then on the next page there is a place that says “Get My Referral Code” click that a Whah La 🙂 Here is my link if anyone would be so kind as to use mine, I would be soooooo so Grateful!!! 😀 https://www.groupon.com//raf/UserReferral_rp/121015/10r1act/lk/uu8460245

The e-gift card works just like a plastic gift card. I have purchased several Staples gift cards during the year. I use my gift card towards items with easy rebates such as photo paper, copy paper, and even a cash register that offered a $25 visa gift card after purchase. I choose the PayPal option for my rebate checks. Some employees are still new to e-gift cards. They might go as far as telling you that they do not accept those. Have them contact a manager or customer service for assistance. This is an awesome deal.

  8. Amanda McCullah

Is it avaliable immediately? It won’t accept my code when I try to redeem it.

    • Amanda McCullah

When I try to enter my code it won’t let me type in all the numbers.

  9. jackie

got it for 15.00 with a 10 off 20 purchase i got in my inbox from groupon =). Cant wait to use these for the back to school sale!

    • Sandy

      Nicely done!

    • dealzgurl

So did I! I’m really happy about it because I almost didn’t purchase the groupon. I checked my account and I had a $10 credit from who knows what so I went for it! 🙂 Yeah. Hopefully, I can find another Ipod speaker on clearance for a decent price. I broke my last one. )-:

    • Stacy

Thanks Jackie!!! I checked my inbox and had the same offer!! I’m so glad I looked through the comments first 🙂 Mine was in my groupon account when I signed in and automatically taken off at checkout.

    Soda Stream: $79.99 – 20% email coupon – $25 Soda Stream Rebate (expires today) – Groupon = $23.99 plus tax 🙂

    • Chris

plus you get 5% back in rewards 🙂

    • debbie campbell

Is the rebate thru Staples or Soda Stream, and where can I find that? thanks

    • Caitlin

I would also love to know where to find the rebate information. Thanks!

      • Hilda

$25 rebate (good thru 6/30) is right on the Soda Stream USA home page. I did a similar deal at Christmas-bought a Soda Stream at Staples, got a $20 Staples card back AND submitted for $20 rebate from Soda Stream. Even though it says “cannot be combined with another coupon or rebate”….I figured I’d try it and I DID get it!

        • Caitlin

          Awesome! Thanks so much!

  11. Patty

Could you use it to purchase a regular gift card? Then you wouldn’t have to worry about cashiers not being familiar with it?

    • Ashley57

Some stores (like CVS) do not allow this. Some stores do. I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

  12. Michele

Just in time. I need ink. Barely had enough to print my egift card.

  13. Kelly T

Be cautious leaving your credit card information saved on groupon. I have come to the FIRM conclusion that my information has been stolen through this site on more than one occassion. Just a heads up. A prepaid gift card would be a good option to use.

    • Wren

Good point. I recently had someone steal cash back bonus money from a card I had saved on Groupon. Have no idea if that’s really how they got access to it, but makes me wonder.

    • Willa

A friend recently had his information stolen and used from the Living Social site. I never save any personal info on a site. If I don’t have time to enter it each time, I am too busy to purchase whatever it is.

  14. seana

Thanks! I need ink. At least I had enough left to print the voucher 🙂

  15. cathy

I had a 10.00 bonus in my account, cost 15.00 for 40.00 Thanks Hip To Save.

  16. Beth

Does anyone know how to purchase this through ebates??

    • Ashley57

I tried and tried to find it on the Groupon site so I could use Shop@Home, but I wasn’t able to, so I just went through Collin’s link.

    • Jamie

I also tried to do through Swagbucks, and I’m not able to find it other than through Collins link.

    • Mandy

nope! I tried and I searched and searched and then gave up and bought it through her link!

  17. ashley

All Viggle users – I just saw yesterday where you can get 800 bonus points for buying something on Groupon! Just a heads up!!

    • Kim Z.

Thanks! I love Viggle!!! There is also a $15 off a Groupon deal if you redeem 30,000 points. Woo hoo! This is a way to make watching TV earn me a $40 Staples card for $10.

  18. brianna

And don’t forget 4% cash back through ShopAtHome 😉

  19. Nica

Hi, does anybody know where I can get the $5 off $25 coupon? I saw online that people are getting it but I don’t know from where. Is it like an offer when you download their app or something? Please help, I need ink for school but the 20% coupon doesn’t include hp ink or toner. Thanks in advance!

  20. Jolene

    Now “Sold Out”

  21. Darcie

    sold out

  22. jane
