I saw something about the Hallmark cards deal this week (using the 99cent cards). Will the 15% Friends and Family apply to the Hallmark cards?

    • KathyP.

Yes it does. It applys to anything other than alcohol, tobacco products, dairy & prescriptions.

    • Mo

The coupon does not work. It states you must make a minimum $2 purchase. 2 $0.99 cards does not meet the requirement.

      • Mo

Never mind, it’s $2 off 3, not sure why the coupon wouldn’t work for me.

  2. kayla

nice brand waters are on sale $1.99 plus 20% off. heck yeah.

    • Autumn Crow VanMeter

Yes, that makes them $1.59 per 24 pack case! I’m pumped over it lol

      • Caitlin

Can you get however many of them that you want or are there any limits?

        • Jessica

          Limit 3

  3. Smellyann

Will this start at 12 AM tonight? If so I’m heading out, haven’t done my Wags deals yet!

  4. Autumn Crow VanMeter

    The Velveeta Cheesy Skillets: 4 boxes at 2/$4 = $8 – 4 ($1/1 coupons = $4) = $4 – $1.20 (15% off of $8) = $2.80 total PLUS get a $3 catalina when you buy 4?? 🙂 FREE + $0.20 MM?!

  5. Beth

The hallmark cards would go to .17 a piece. And the tollhouse morsels would go to .53 a piece with the balance rewards.

  6. Autumn Crow VanMeter

    Febreze Air Effects? Isn’t it 25% off this week making it $2.62 – 15% = $2.23 – $1.50/1 MC = $0.73 each! 🙂

  7. Juliet

Is the coupon only valid for one item or will it deduct the percentage for every item

    • Willa

      Total order is discounted.

  8. Smellyann

What I found just now is that it wasn’t giving the discount off your total but rather a RR in the appropriate amount after the transaction. Don’t know if it’s just my store or nationwide, but YMMV. HTH

    • Smellyann

Also, the RR isn’t valid until the following day or later.

      • Date

RR’s are printed out and are available as soon as you get them. up from rite aid are available the next day.

        • Smellyann

NO, not in THIS case, I’m telling you it will NOT work. The RR specifies the next day, and the register holds you to it. I tried.

          • elizabeth

What printed is NOT a RR it is a coupon for $2/$10 purchase of $5/$@0 purchase valid tomorrow and friday. The discount has come off ALL of my purchases. It will show on the receipt.

  9. Ellen

Do the Chex Mix printable manufacturer coupons work on the gardettos, too?

    • Sasha

Nope, I did my deals early Sun morning. Only for Chex.

  10. LAURA

Ebates is offering 8% back, valid today only!

  11. Amy

I’m confused. On baby wipes deal (buy 1 get 50% off 2nd one), when does the 15% come off? Anyone know? TIA!

    • Sandy

15% comes off your total order. So, if the baby wipes are 3.99 then the first one would be 3.99 and the second one would be 1.99 for a subtotal of 5.98. 15% discount would be on the subtotal of 5.98 or .90.

  12. Erica

Just got back from Walgreens and got a pretty good deal on 12 pks of A&W, 7-up. Got 3 12 pks for $5.05 including tax!!
    3 12 pks on sale 3/10.
    Minus 15% friends and family
    Minus 2 $2 off one 12 pk
    Total $5.05
Would be even better if you were able to print 3 of those $2/1 coupons (printed them online but can’t remember what site)

  13. Kathy

I went this am on my way to work…..love this deal! I got 3 packs of water $1.99, and 4 boxes of Velveeta…used my 20% off and 4 $1 off velveeta, paid $7.57 and got back a $3 RR and $2 off tomorrow purchases. So in all my total with my RR is $2.57. Woo Hoo!

  14. Susie Q

Lawton, OK, Store#4703 located on Sheridan. Buying the Walgreens Wal-ZyrD and presented my coupon at the beginning of the checkout along with my Walgreen’s card. Walgreen 20% off coupon won’t scan. Cashier won’t manually key it in. Acting manager won’t take it upon herself to manually key it in. I asked if there is someone she can call. She said the manager but that person isn’t coming in today so she was not going to call them. I said so there is no one you can call and she said no. She realizes the coupon is for today only. I contacted the 1-800-Walgreen number. They said someone will get back to me within 2 days. I noted that the 20% off on Walgreen products was just for today and the customer service person indicted that they usually will resolve that. When they get back to me I’ll also have to address the Burn Jel that is on sale (this store was out of it) and how can I get the sale price on it when they resolve this coupon. IF I have time I’m going to try another Walgreens. Problem is I just don’t have the time to be going to more than one store especially all in one day. OH the life of a couponer. Good luck everyone.

    • Katrina

The F&F coupon isn’t good on psuedophedrine products. It’s listed in the fine print. The product you were trying to buy has psuedophedrine as an ingredient. They could have told you that, though, rather than being difficult.

      • Kkaospixe

I am positive that they were not being “difficult”, they just didn’t know. They would have to memorize all the fine print on every existing coupon, when its YOU the CONSUMER who should be reading the fine print on those coupons if you intend on using them. Walgreens will only read the fine print to verify if they are being used legally.

  15. Lisa R

Does anyone know how to get any of the coupons mentioned above from S/S (newspaper?) I quit getting the paper…

    • Tia

buy them from a coupon clipping site

  16. Katie

Is it true register rewards now can’t be used the same day as they are received?

    • lisa

Not true. I got the Mitchum RR, and then used it for other stuff right away.

      • Katie

        Whew! Thanks!

        • Tia

A few folks above have stated the 15% for this deal is printing a RR that’s not good until the next day instead of giving you 15% off the total. I don’t like this one bit! I’m not really a Walgreens shopper and don’t want to have to go back.

          • Caitlin

That is also what I am wondering 🙁 I rarely shop at Walgreens

            • Hannah

I had no problems at all with my transactions. It took the 15% off just fine.

    • jill

I think some people might be confusing a “stock up coupon” with a RR. The coupon printer will sometimes (randomly? to balance rewards members) give you a “stock up coupon” that is usually only good for two days . . . the day after it prints and the following day. I got one today for $2 off a $10 purchase.

      • Hannah

Jill, I think you’re right. That must be the coupon she’s refrring to. I got a $2 off of $10 and a $5 off of $20. Both aren’t good until tomorrow, but I still got my 15% off without any problems.

        • Jessica

That’s exactly what it is. I received a $5 and a $2 one good for the next 2 days because i made 2 separate purchases. Thanks for clearing that up! What great deals at Wags today! Thanks Hip2Save!! 🙂 Stocked up on snacks and water for our camping trip!

          • Susan

I have a question about the $2 off of $10 good for tomorrow and Friday. Is this the way it is supposed to work? You go in and buy your items, give them your coupons and then your total is still above $10, then give them the $2 off $10 and then you can pay the rest down with RR. Thank you for any advice.

            • Autumn Crow VanMeter

I used to get them a lot. You spend $10, give them your $2/$10 in addition to all other coupons or RRs or points. Simple.

  17. Jessica

Does anyone know if the cashier can use the mobile coupon instead of printing? No ink 🙁

    • Tia

Yes…when I did this last time, I showed her on my phone and the cashier just used the register button for employee discount.

    • Autumn Crow VanMeter

Yes, I showed my phone last time, too. & they had a bunch of coupons for it at the register to use.

  18. Mo

I went to one wags and the had girls nighttime princess pull-ups for $5.99 in the clearance section. The second wags had the boys and girls version on a cart by the register for $6.47 as well as size 3 86 count box of Huggies for $11.99 and the Huggies travel wipes for $1.14. I bought a box of the diapers, used the $3 Huggies coupon plus the 15% off wags coupon. Paid $7.19 for 86 diapers!!!

    • Lina

Did you get a RR for the 15% or did it come off the total?

    • T

So you were able to use the 15% off and the $3 off wags coupons? I was wondering if they would allow both wags coupons to be used at one time??

      • Rebekah

The $3 Huggies coupon is a manufacturer coupon. Easily used with the 15%.

        • Autumn Crow VanMeter

There’s also a $3/1 Walgreens coupon in the June coupon booklet…to be combined with a manufacturer coupon.

    • Coco

I bought 5 pull-ups nighttime princess and 5 pull- ups Learning designs which were all marked down to $2.99. I used 15% Walgreen F&F and used 10 $2 off pull-ups coupon. Total came out around $7.83. Used $5 in points and just paid $2.83!

  19. SammieR

Do I present the Walgreens 15% off coupon before or after the other coupons? I want to do the hallmark deal but not sure what order?

    • Sandy

      BEFORE!

  20. Maggie

The Wal-Zyr (generic equivalent of Zyrtec) 150-tablet bonus pack comes out to $27.99 (after the F&F Q) – and there’s a $4-off store coupon in the June book, making it $23.99 for 150. It is like paying $4.80 per 30 pack of Zyrtec — a really good deal if someone in your family uses it.

Check the Duck tape display in the office supply area — some types are on clearance — they come out to 1.27 after the 15% off, and there’s a $1 off Duck tape coupon in the June book. There were two very colorful kinds on clearance in my store, and the rest were regular price (4-something per roll).

  21. Jackie

I saved 54% on my purchase today! I ended up paying $1.08 on the two bottles of Colgate rinse and still earned the 2,000 points! I will be back 4 the next friends and family event!! 🙂

  22. Jacqueline Tumalan

It was a total nightmare today at my wags! I went in for the huggies diaper deal, 2/$19. I had a 2/$2 walgreens copupons from the previous day, plus two mc for a any type huggies and a slip on huggies. They would not let me buy the 2/$19 huggies jumbo pack diapers unless I bought two of the same, in other words the deal would not work when I tried to buy 1 pckg of slip ons, and 1 pckg of little movers. I had only 1 mc for each of those types but not two. The cashier had to call a manager up twice! It was a nightmare and I ended up leaving without anything 🙁 I was so sad.

  23. Jacqueline Tumalan

BTW, I realize that I can only use 1 of the $2 Walgreens coupon (1 per trans). I basically had $7.00 worth of what I thought were usable coupons to bring my total down to $12 for two jumbo pack diapers, making ea only 6 bucks, but I was so wrong…still bummed about it but I will get over it 🙁
