Just to throw this out there, I recently needed to purchase checks and believe it or not walmart.com sells personal checks. They were reasonably priced and shipping was fast. You can buy single checks for $6.95 a box plus shipping (cheapest price is $3.95). This is wonderful for when you need to order checks and you can’t find any deals or if the deals are limited to new customers. =)

For Costco members: Costco.com also offers personal checks for a great price.
I work at a bank and if customers don’t want to pay the fees our check company charges us (and most don’t) I always suggest walmart for check ordering,
