I got this deal on Monday in Pittsburgh, PA. There were plenty of crayons on the shelves and they were in a section by the main door and in the crayola section.
i got some at my toys r us limit of 8 per person
I price matched at Walmart – simple!
Good idea!! I wonder if they will make it a max of 8 as well or let me buy whatever. I usually buy a ton at back to school time.
I purchased 40 packs at Toys R us, they let me separate the transactions. 🙂

Oh, lol – sorry! I searched the other day for the ad online but wasn’t able to find it. I’m not sure. I want to say someone mentioned it being an emailed ad.
All you need is the sales ad. “Technically” every cashier at Walmart should have sales ad at the register for all their competitors.
I just printed off the email that I got from ToysRUs, in order to price match at Walmart. I believe I got it around Sunday or Monday and the heading is something about 70% off and more. If you got one of those it should have a picture listing the 4/$1 Crayons. 🙂
I’m in Northern California and was able to get 8 boxes today. Also, I’ve heard from others that this sale was in an email (no sales ad).
Btw, on WeUseCoupons, a member posted… “I found a bunch of TRU Brand bath products on clearance for $0.98. There is a store coupon for $2/3 baby lotion, wash, shampoo, powder, oil, and diaper rash items… making each TRU bath item 0.31 cents each.”

Nice! In my area of NC they are 50 cents for the Crayola.. :/ Supposedly they have some Rose Art crayons for 25 cents, but the limit is only 2.

Our Walmart here in southeast Texas requires a hard copy…I tried printing one once and they said no so doubt they would take a phone 🙁
I always price match on my phone. target now has a ipad they need to get the webpage on the ipad but walmart justs need to make sure its the same item. I never have a problem. sent the url to your email so you don’t have to dig for the webpage. happy couponing.

I tried to price match at Walmart and they said they don’t price match “In store deals”.
I went on Monday afternoon and bought 8 boxes, here in Florida! They were nicely stocked in the front of the store, didn’t venture back to the aisle though.

Colin thank you for sharing this deal…Although my son has since graduated from school…There are a group of “MOM’s” as we are called at our now alumni school..that like to give back. We have adopted a new elementary teacher and I cannot begin to tell you how excited she is that each of us in the group made our trek to ToysRUs to get our limit of Crayola Crayons. I believe by the time we are done we will have three classroom sets for her for this year. One for this semester, one for next semester and one for replacing broken ones…over 90 boxes. $2.18 for 8 boxes of crayons to help out a new incoming teacher…such joy for us and for her. Thank You Colin. I made the announcement at my grown sons Church/Mens group softball game since our teachers family was there collecting some of our purchases (all items we have gotten with Hip2Save deal scenarios). Someone said to me IT IS AMAZING YOU EVEN KNOW THIS…I said “HIP2SAVE” I check it out every day…You were the hot topic of the game!
