UPDATE: This appears to no longer be working 🙁 – please read through the comments for details.

Calling all you lucky CVS shoppers! As I mentioned in the CVS Weekly Deals, there is a great deal to be had on Huggies products! Even better, currently when you purchase 2 participating Huggies diapers, Pull-Ups Training Pants and/or GoodNites, you’ll snag a $10 Extrabucks reward instead of the $5 reward that’s advertised. OR, you can opt to purchase 3 participating products and you’ll score a $20 Extrabucks reward!

Note that I am not sure if there is a typo in the ad regarding the amount of Extrabucks rewards you should be getting back or if this is a regional offer or what?! So please proceed at your own risk as I can’t guarantee this will work at your local CVS. However, if it does, check out the *HOT* deals you can score:

Buy 2 participating Huggies products = $10 Ecb or Buy 3 = $20 Ecb

The deal was dead as of 12:50 PST( CA).

I will not ask or argue for my $20 ECB to be honored if it rings up as $10 like I am expecting it to. I think its wrong because that’s the legitimate amount that was advertised and I don’t think its fair to demand they give me more. I’m so thankful to CVS and have saved an unbelievable amount of money here, I’m not going to try and capitalize on a silly printing error. It was a great deal to begin with and I’m a happy momma!

      Tara,
Thank you for being so honest about it. I have to say that I don’t have babies, but I remember how expensive diapers were, however I think capitalizing on this deal is a bit dishonest, since that is not what was advertised. People don’t want their mistakes being taken advantage of, so why would we do that to the stores? This kind of behavior will only hurt everyone in the long run.

I got the $20 ecb to print today after buying $30 of Huggies diapers. I was just wondering if anyone else had tried to redeem their $20 ecb and what the outcome was? Did cvs honor the $20 ecb or only give you $10?

    • megan

my cvs honored it but I decided to use it now and buy more diapers in case things changed

im in california, i used mine today just in case there would be trouble using it later. it did only ring up at $10, but the cashier manually added the other $10 and wrote a note on the ecb before she put it away. so in my case, I was able to use the $20.00

It rang up as ten dollars, but my CVS honored the twenty dollars printed no problem.

i purchased 1 bag of pull ups and 2 wipes, in 2 different transactions, didn’t even see this comment or even look at the add to see i could of done it twice on each cvs card but which each purchase i got 10 eb and i used some of my previous eb’s though i don’t think i purchased my stuff prior to 1230 but i was working lol and it wasn’t that busy at work on Sunday 🙂

I think CVS still trying to work through this… i went yesterday to purchase more diapers and this time it didn’t even give me any ECB’s. i called customer service and asked about the issue. she politely gave me only $5ECB when it was suppose to be $10ECB. I’m personally ok with that because the day before i got $20ECB and they honored it without me asking. Kudos CVS

The limit for the offer was 2, so if you had already gotten the $20ECB from this deal than the deal limit would have been reached and that is why you would not have gotten any more ECB’s unless you used a different CVS card

  6. shelly

can you use the ecb reward money right away? or does it have to be used for the next transaction?

    • mel

The ECB prints on the bottom of your receipt after you pay, so you can’t use it on the initial purchase, you will have to use it towards the next transaction.

  7. Milo

    Is this still working?

    • mel

The Glitch is dead as of Sunday (that’s why it says Expired) The deal is printing as the ad states, buy $15 get $5. Its a limit of 2, so if you buy $30 worth you’ll get a $10 ecb.

  8. BB

I am a CVS employee, and sadly it was an error in the system, therefore, it will only redeem for the advertised amount reguardless of what printed.
